I'm glad it's so close to home. It's not for me, but others might dig it! My total was about $70 and in this city, there are a lot of super tasty things to spend that much money on. I'm giving it a 3 instead of a 2 because although I didn't have a great experience I need to acknowledge that I did NOT try their Pho, which seems to be their signature dish. If you read other reviews, you can clearly see that tons of people LOVE their Pho. So give that a try! The tofu was pretty but the texture was SUPER soft and I was expecting firm tofu with crispy edges. I wouldn't get this again because the texture wasn't right for me, but others might dig it! Crab rangoons: solid, basic. Great for a Rangoon craving! Lemongrass wings: I was super excited to try these because previous reviews are great. I caught them at the end of the night and I found them to be super dry. Combo noodles: I might have caught this on an off night because I couldn't detect a single flavor in these. It felt like naked noodles with no flavor. The added combo proteins were super minimal. I wouldn't get these again - it felt like they used the cheapest ingredients possible. That's not a $17 dish. Bang bang shrimp: good flavor. They use small shrimp, so I wish there was more of them. read more

4 stars only because I didn't try enough important stuff. lol I live in the area so it was nice finally noticing a restaurant of its kind so close. I feel like the location can be a negative for them because it can easily be missed with the blink of an eye. The sign near the street could help. The inside is so nice and clean. The staff was pleasant. And my order was correct and good. Because I wasn't hungry enough for pho I just ordered some broth to get a feel for when I do get some (I LOVE pho). The broth was pretty good. Without adding any hoisin or sriracha. Makes me think the pho is going to be good too. Any Asian spot I go to I have to try the crab Rangoon. I've come across more misses than hits...in this case, they were absolutely a hit. Perfect amount of sweet and savory with a perfectly crisp on the outside. Trying something new and out of my comfort zone, I got the lemongrass wings. The chicken was seasoned really well and fried perfectly. The lemongrass was okay, very lemony. It almost tasted like lemonade to me. lol they were good. Next time I'll try a few more goodies. I have no complaints. I feel as though many people don't really know it's there. The pho was really yummy, especially on the second day. All the seasoning went through and I devoured every last drop. I also tried their pork belly Bun- Banh Bao, let me just say they are a must try! They are located on Allen Toussaint in front of the Rouses. There is seating in the restaurant or you can walk up to the bar to order and/or pick up your food. I will have to try their chicken since I have been hearing and seeing good things about it. May just go get some for lunch. read more

This is my second time at Yummy Pho, and this restaurant is very consistent. They always deliver the deliciousness. So far we've had the golden wings, Korean wings, Bún Bò Huế, Bún Thịt Nướng (grilled pork), combination fried rice, and the Pho Rib special. Our goal is to try the entire menu. Did a pick up to go order on a Monday night and it was quick (20min) and easy via UberEats! The brisket pho with the beef proof was Suuuuper tasty. The broth was cooked to perfection. Added in my siracha, hoisin, lime juice and basil and we were good to go! I'll definitely be back here when I want a quick pho meal. Location is also convenient! The service was good and quick. The food and ambience were really good and relaxing. I really loved the shrimp.

My first visit and I ordered the Bun Bo Hue. It was tasty and plentiful. I do wish more meat was added to the Pho. Maybe next time I'll order it with extra meat. Great value with a beautiful golden color, though they could use a bit more seasoning. * Korean Wings (7/10): Flavorful sauce, but the texture turned soggy in the container. * Crab Rangoon (8/10): Perfectly crispy outside and creamy inside--but does anyone add actual crab anymore? * Shrimp Fried Rice (8/10): Moist, flavorful rice with sautéed onions that added a nice touch. My wife's favorite dish of the order. * Bang Bang Shrimp (8/10): Tasty, but again, soggy from steam. * Limeade (9/10): Fresh-squeezed, with just the right amount of sweetness. The pho broth was flavorful and the meat tender. Noodles were cooked perfectly and just the right amount of accompaniments. Extra points for packing all the sauces. I ordered my food to go but got an opportunity to experience the in house wait staff. I ended of having a slight coughing spell and the rushed o er with a glass of water and allowed me to sit down at an empty table. I can t wait to go back and eat in person. Ohh and I also ordered the shrimp and pork belly spring rolls and the peanut sauce that came with it was so delicious. The inside was clean and intimate. A TV and a nice bar area for ordering Togo. Pho Orchid in Metairie is my usual go-to for Shrimp Pho. Because this place is new and near home I gave it a try. Ordered the Shrimp Pho and it was delicious but the vegetable bag was a bit skimp. When I ordered by phone I was told 15mins. Waited for almost 40 minutes inside restaurant and was met with an attitude by staff when I asked what's the hold up. Ive been wanting to try this place out after a coworker raved about it. Its not too far from my house which made it the perfect spot to check out Mardi Gras day when I was sick and wanting hot soup! I ordered online and my husband picked up but food was ready on arrival and everything was as ordered. I had the chicken pho which was so good. The broth was perfectly seasoned only thing I added wash the herbs and sriracha because I love heat. I also tried the lemon grass tofu which I probably wouldn't get again. The tofu was cut in a huge chunks and while the lemon grass seasoning had a great flavor the middle parts of the tofu was tasteless. This would be better if the tofu were sliced and fried thinner. I would try the lemongrass wings next time. I also tried the golden wings which is typical fried wing (think party wings in NOLA), great size and flavor. My favorite pho spot recently closed so I'm happy to have found a new spot so close to home. If you're in Gentilly definitely check this place out and even if you're not I'd say it's worth the drive. read more

Waited for like an hour and they mixed up three of our items with the other table and told the guy he gave us the wrong wings but he kept saying they were right even though they were not same that were pictured on the menu and the other table said they wings were wrong which they mix up with ours.
