Normally I do all the holiday cooking; however, after experiencing the taste BBQ from Bada Bing, my husband and I decided to order a pan of BBQ chicken to accompany our meal on Easter Sunday. My husband ordered and picked up the chicken on the Friday before Easter. This was one of the best decisions made!!! Bada Bing you outdid yourself!!! My family thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ!!! It was very tasty, the sauce was outstanding (I'm a sauce critic). We plan to order another pan for Memorial Day. Yum!!!

I really nice potion of food. Nice taste. Sweet sauce not spicy. Good

Ba-da-Bing is a hidden gem for real St. Louis barbecue. It's strictly takeout. Parking is an issue.

Im going to ask next time if white is an option.  Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge  They have a loyal  neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time. The space is striking: the perfect blend of elegant and eclectic. Service is truly impeccable from the moment you walk in. Our server was phenomenal and guided us seamlessly through the menu. We loved that there were so many shareable options, which made it easy (and fun) to explore. Standouts for us were the cocktails, the wine selection, the truffled baked potato (don't skip this), the shaved veal, and the zucchini carpaccio. Every bite delicious. We'll absolutely be back.

The server seemed annoyed with being there, never asked my husband if he wanted a refill, took forever to check on us, and messed up the bill, which I didn't catch until after signing it. I've been to plenty of fine dining restaurants where our server has introduced themselves and asked about the occasion, and this place did none of that. Esca has the service of a fast casual restaurant- zero rapport with the customer. Oh and I was charged a 20% service fee. Super tacky to do that for a table of two at a nice restaurant. Bruschetta was such a small portion and flavorless. The artichokes claimed to have anchovy but my husband said he couldn't taste any, so he essentially got a tiny $20 artichoke as an appetizer. My $16 spritz was so loaded with ice I had maybe three sips of the actual drink. I noticed every other table had bread service but we weren't offered any. Our dinner was finished and I finally asked our server for bread. The best part of my meal was the gelato with olive oil, that's it. I don't think I'll spend the $$ again at this place. It's such a bummer because I had high hopes for a stellar Mediterranean meal.

We heard about the DelMar Loop and also heard about this place so decided to drop on by! One of the best parts was free parking! OK, we saw they had a patio and that was perfect for us because our puppy needed a place too. They seated us quickly, brought us some menus, and took our drink order. We both had 0% beer because, you know, it was just 12 noon - a little early for the hard stuff! We both ordered some barbecue! I ordered the brisket and pulled pork, along with the potato salad and chili! OK before the food review I got it put in a great word for the waitress. She was very friendly, and gave us some good pointers on things to check out while in town - very cool. Oddly enough, we were the only one sitting on the patio, even though it was a very pleasant day, indeed. When the food came? I thought the brisket was a little odd because it wasn't chopped. It was cut into little cubes but paired with one of the sauces? Very nice! And pulled pork was great. The potato salad? Yup! The chili? Yup! The fried bread roll? Well, it was a little unexpected, but it was very nice as well. As we had heard that St. Louis barbecue was uniquely different from any other barbecue, we had to have it! I'm not gonna say it was spectacularly different, but it was good! We ordered a lemon gooey bar for dessert and shared it! Apparently it's a St. Louis thing? Yes! Would we come again? Oh yes, indeed! And you should try it too if you like good barbecue.!

Came late afternoon, so it wasn't very busy. I sat at the bar, and had phenomenal service from the bartender. But the food is where things really shined. I started the mail with the bacon deviled eggs. They were filled to the brim and super tasty. I got the two meat combo. With ribs, bologna, slaw, and cream corn. Everything was absolutely amazing. The baloney, with a fresh chowchow and Stone Ground mustard, was one of the best barbecue items I've had anywhere. The slaw some vinegar based and it's very tangy. It was very good. This was a really good barbecue restaurant in St. Louis area. I need to try somewhere else, but it's gonna be hard not just to come back here!

Historically, you found Nixta more than solid in both food and drinks. For example, their grilled octopus remains a highlight, light but flavorful, and still a reliable choice but their overall execution has definitely declined, sadly. They do have a cocktail menu that's quite good, though you missed the mezcalitas they once offered. The service on our recent visit was a major letdown. Even on a quiet Thursday night with only one other table present, the staff didn't show much engagement or interest in guiding us through the menu. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty. In the past, I would have rated Nixta very highly, but now I'd place it around three/four stars due to the service issues. In summary, the food remains good, but unless the service improves, it's hard to wholeheartedly recommend it for a full dining experience.

First of all, the place is classy that I was too embarrassed to take photos and will have to rely on words alone to describe my dining experience. Our waitee came over shortly to take our drink orders. They gave us 2 different menu versions as mine didn't have the prices but his did. I had a glass of cabernet and my husband had a nice cocktail to start. We shared the crab cake (pan seared, with citrus salad, lemon remulade and pickeld red onions. My husband also got the French onion soup because he likes French onion soup and he said it was great. The crab cakes were delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite! I had the ribeye prepared medium rare and my husband had the salmon. We also ordered the brussel sprouts and creamed spinach sides to share which were all lovely and well seasoned. My steak was prepared the way I asked for it to be and our dinner proceeded smoothly. Our waiter came and checked on us regularly to make sure we were well tended to and got us another round of drinks. I was unfortunately too full for dessert which is unusual as I always try to have dessert on Friday nights. However, getting full on a fantastic meal was not something I regretted. And I had leftovers for the weekend as well! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tenderloin Room except that I cannot wait to return and have more of their delicious steak!
