Hands down the best taco truck I've experienced. The flavors were on point. Food wash fresh and hot!

There were tempting options, and then the Griddle Sandwich was explained to me & that's all I needed to know. Ham, fried egg & cheese all in-between French Toast. It was so good that it didn't need syrup. I added syrup to the other half of my sandwich & it took it over the top. I really don't know which way I'd rather have it. Before I typed this out, I saw the the sandwich was a starter. Now I'll have to check them out again for the Chicken & French Toast (that comes with fruit). The individual who took my order was super nice & they brought my food out to me (I was DJing).

My brother and nieces each tried something different- the chicken and French toast, the strawberry cheesecake french toast and the peach cobbler French toast. They were all amazing. I was worried the bread would be soggy with all the toppings, but it was the perfect consistency. The flavors were great and the portions were huge. Generally not a fan of French toast, but definitely a fan of theirs!

I only wish I could have smelled how good this all was!!!! Seriously, I lost my smell in 2020 when I had Covid and never got it back. Today though I could see, hear and feel how good this was gonna taste as soon as I opened the box and saw what was inside!!!! I got an order of Bayou fries from the The Bayou food truck that parks now over by Geaux - Jack Of All Shows where The Lovely Lady of Comedy Angela Teague has her show on the southwest corner of New Orleans Square here in south BA!!!!! Where I can't say this is "traditional" Cajun fair there are a lot of qualities that remind me of what I've eaten in Louisiana!!! The seasoning on the shrimp, the andouille sausage and the brown gravy that was all over the fries hiding out under all this cheese. I was happy to see Crystal hot sauce available. Staple of the Deep South!!! I tried out the Voodoo potato chips and bread pudding too. The chips come in a bag but cool to see they have them and the bread pudding was so good I wanted to catch a crawfish by the tail and name it Mario. Why Mario you may ask, have you ever heard a story about a Mario that wasn't a good story? Exactly!!! It's that damn good!!! I feel like y'all should swing by and get some amazing food from these hard working locals!!! They have daily specials and a menu of their daily options!! Stop in order that grub and hell 'em Big Ray sent you!!!

With a few…read moregreat Mexican spots much closer to us now (shoutout to Gustavo!), we figured we'd step out of our routine and give bingo night at Ted's a try. We arrived around 6:45pm for the 7pm bingo, only to find out it wasn't being held on the patio as advertised. That was fine--it was hot out anyway. We were shown to a small indoor section and luckily grabbed the last high-top table. Service was very slow. We waited a while before anyone came by, and it took 40 minutes to get my margarita. Our food actually came out before our drinks. I ordered a skinny margarita but got something syrupy and full of sweet & sour mix instead. Tried to switch to wine, but surprise--they don't serve wine. At a full bar. Odd. The food was just okay at best. * "Cilantro lime" rice had corn and no trace of cilantro or lime. Not good. * Black beans with pico--bland. * Cheese enchilada--fine, but forgettable. * Queso tasted like El Chico (nostalgic, but not in a good way). * Salsa had zero spice. Our server was rarely around, and when we were ready to pay, we actually had to get up and ask the manager at the host stand to bring us our check. Not a great ending to the meal. Bingo was... fine. It moved fast but had long breaks in between rounds. We played five games and didn't win. Prizes were $10 gift cards--not bad, but not enough to bring us back.
