This place has the best and authentic kebab, hands down! We traveled across Los Angeles just to try this place out, and it didn't disappoint. Everything is grilled fresh, and the service is so friendly and attentive. There are three tables available to sit and enjoy your meal as well, which I appreciated. We will definitely be back to get our kebab fix!

It's great to know we have this amazing sandwich spot in our neighborhood! They're parked along sunset and right as you walk towards it, you can already smell the delicious charcoal-grilled meat. I got the chicken one and it's really good and flavorful. It comes with different sauces/chilis to complement it but honestly it's as good without. Just expect a wait of about 10-15 mins since they make everything fresh as you order, no complaints there! :)

I came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting much. They're located in a corner where several other shawarma carts are located in, so I figured it would just be another option but nothing exceptional. I was wrong. I ordered the Shish Kebap, and was given a very hearty, filled to the brim, dürüm (a wrap) filled with veggies and beef. The beef is tender, marinated to near perfection and juicy. The vegetables are finely chopped, compliment the beef well, rather than overwhelming it, and add nice texture to the dürüm. Even though they're 18 dollars, they're big enough for two portions if you cut them in half (each dürüm is like a pound worth of food). Highly recommended place, street food with excellent, restaurant-level quality. Service was great, even if a bit slow but it's understandable, due to how well made everything is.

Tasty and fresh, however, their system needs some work. Seems kinda all over the place with ordering and actually receiving your food.

We got the beef and chicken plate and Greek salad. This was enough for 3 of us to share! The beef and chicken were tender and marinated well. Only note for next time: I'll ask for it a little more well-done (just personal preference... I like my chicken with a little extra bite ). The eggplant caviar was solid and a generous portion, but the real standout? The Caesar wrap. It completely lived up to the hype -- bold, flavorful, and honestly addictive. I almost ordered a second one to take home. Also worth mentioning: the son of the owner who took my order was super friendly and had great customer service, even with a long line. He kept things moving while still being engaging, which I appreciated. I was excited to hear they're opening a Studio City location -- I'll definitely be back. This place is a must. We opted for Raffi's Place after a morning stint at Shane's Inspiration Playground in Griffith Park. Raffi's is a huge restaurant that's very welcoming and festive. Waiters are friendly and carry huge trays dull of juicy kabobs with mountains of rice. It has a bit of a banquet hall feeling. Parking is done in nearby pay lots within a block or two. We shared a few entrees and still had plenty of leftovers. Highlights of the lunch: 1. The free, Lavash bread is paper thin yet chewy in a good way. My 6yo must have ate a half dozen or more. You can enjoy it plain, dip it in cucumber yogurt or go authentic with raw onions, radish, and mint/basil. 2. I loved the chicken thigh kabob. Super juicy and perfectly seasoned. Besides the grilled tomato there's also a big green chili pepper. The default saffron rice is our favorite but you can try 3-4 other variants for a surcharge. 3. Ny sister got the Scottish Salmon Kabob which is also excellent. Moist and perfectly cooked too. 4. Wife and bro-in-law wet with classic Beef Koobideh and portions were huge. They give two large pieces that are roundish in shape - Not flattened to make it look big like other places. BIL are like 1/4 of his Koobideh and packed the rest as takeout, LOL! We are all foodies but past a certain age our metabolism slows, LOL! Highly recommend Raffi's - family and kid friendly and you'll leave very full or have leftover for days.

The restaurant has a really homey feeling inside, with about four small tables that make it feel cozy and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. My partner and I ordered the chicken shish kebabs with mejadra rice, salad, and sumac fries. Everything was delicious! The plate also came with hummus and pita, which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The hummus was smooth, rich, and perfect with the warm pita. Hermon helped recommend our food, cooked it, and even served us. She was so kind and made the whole experience feel really personal. She also offered us complimentary baklava, which was amazing. It had the most soft, chewy texture with just enough sweetness. When I asked her what the secret ingredient was, she just smiled and said she couldn't spoil it so you'll have to try it for yourself! Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Chef Okay is running a one-man operation in the best way possible. The very intimate room hosts no more than 6-7 small tables, with the chef preparing food in an open kitchen a couple of feet away from you. His warmth and appreciation are felt from the moment you walk in until you leave. He has no servers or busers; he handles the entire operation alone in a very effective and intimate way. They have a kiosk at the entrance with a small but mighty menu of flavor-filled Turkish dishes. The dishes were prompt and packed with rich Mediterranean flavors. Some of my favorites included the Kitel, Garlic Kabob, and Tenderloin Shish Kabob. The cheese Halva dessert was mind-blowing, capping it all off. I came with a friend from Turkey, and she was blown away by the range of flavors and elevated take on traditional Turkish dishes.
