There are edible parts but there are also some very hard chewy pieces that are super hard to chew through. The pork jowl is a must! It was superb! Melt in your mouth with some crispy edges. The chicken skin was good, especially if you eat it right when you take it off the heat. The gizzards were definitely not worth it, as it was too salty and too chewy, but maybe with a beer it would be ok? The inside of this restaurant is very dark, like a late night party type restaurant, where you share a meal with your friends and have one too many beers. However, it seems very clean. We joined the Yelp waitlist and arrived within five minutes, but the place was packed and we still waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The lamb skewers are my go-to and absolutely the star of the show. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor from the spices. My friend tried some of the beef skewers and those were just as good--juicy, flavorful, and grilled perfectly. Honestly, the skewers alone are **5-star worthy** and the main reason to come here. I usually order the bibim nangmyeon, but this time I decided to try something new: the tteokbokki and the potato pancake. Unfortunately, both were major misses. The **potato pancake gets 0 stars** from me. It arrived lukewarm, extremely greasy, and completely soggy. It lacked any crispiness and felt like it had been sitting for a while. We didn't even finish a single slice of that $10 pancake. The tteokbokki wasn't much better. Some of the rice cakes were oddly cut horizontally in half, making them limp and overcooked. The sauce had an okay spice level but was overly sweet, and the cheese on top wasn't fully melted--it had a slightly gritty texture. At around $13.50, it definitely didn't feel worth the price. To their credit, the staff tried to be attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. A server asked how everything was and I gave honest feedback about the disappointing dishes, but nothing really came of it. It's an excellent experience. For kebabs, you can order a variety of proteins and veggies. They also had other snacks and dishes available to order. On this first trip, we just wanted skewers and beer. They did bring out some pickled radish, cabbage kimchi, and egg tofu for us as well. On the initial round, the staff (very helpful and friendly throughout the night), set up our first rounds of meat. The remaining for us to take care of as we ate through our meal. Not sure if it's intended or just our flame, but it was uneven in that one side had a bigger flame than the other side so we kept rotating our meats to they all cooked evenly. Meats are great, standouts are the lamb and beef, while the provide some "dips" you can also select spiciness level when ordered. The beef tongue, corn, bacon wrapped enoki are also great options. It's really whatever you prefer. The only thing I wouldn't get again would probably be the chicken skin. I just didn't cook or crisp as well as I would have liked. Can't go wrong with draft beer. Feeling guilty that I only come here because Little Skewer in Monterey Park is always packed and the wait is too long. However, I would've never tried this spot if it weren't for that. The staff doesn't talk much, even when they come by to refill water or drop off food. But nevertheless, they were always polite when we had questions. Lamb, beef, and pork belly kabobs we're nice and juicy. Mushroom kabobs dried out before they could cook thoroughly, but that could have just been our inexperience with controlling the fire. The beef and lamb textures are difficult to distinguish - lamb tends to have a gamey taste which I'm not really a fan of, but you can't taste it after the way they marinated it. We got mild spicy and spicy mala for the beef, and the spicy mala wasn't too strong. I'd get this again over the mild spicy. We got beef tongue and beef tendon as well, and these were all excellent when it comes to texture. Overall, we enjoyed all of the skewers, but when we go back we'd definitely get fewer now that we know what we like. The name stood out because we remembered having their skewers at a night market years ago, and since the reviews were good, we decided to finally check out the restaurant. Parking & Entrance They have a parking lot, which is a big plus. We used Google Maps, and it led us straight to the back parking lot--but here's where it gets a little weird. Google takes you to the back entrance, which is down an alley where other restaurants keep their trash cans, so it looks and smells pretty grimy. At night, it definitely felt a bit shady and we were hesitant at first. Thankfully, there are signs and arrows in the alley that clearly point you toward the restaurant, so just follow those and you'll end up at the actual entrance. Once we got inside, it was a completely different story: The restaurant was clean There was K-pop playing on the TVs A server greeted and seated us right away The dining area itself felt welcoming and comfortable, even though the alley leading to it did not. Food We ordered: Lamb kebabs - These were the star. Some of the best lamb kebabs I've had--flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Lamb ribs - Tasty and satisfying. Pork jowl - Tender and flavorful. Squid - Nicely cooked and well-seasoned. Fried rice - Solid and enjoyable. Cucumber salad - Refreshing and well-seasoned. When you're seated, they give you seasonings at the table so you can adjust the flavor to your liking, which we appreciated. They also brought out Korean-style side dishes: A small cup of steamed egg Pickled radish Kimchi The steamed egg was extremely bland, so that's one thing I'd say you can skip. The other sides were fine and a nice bonus. Other Notes Service was good - friendly and attentive. Bathroom was clean, which is always a plus. The restaurant wasn't crowded when we went, so no wait and no hype-y atmosphere--just good food. Final Thoughts Overall, T Kebob is a great spot if you're craving lamb kebabs and skewers. The back alley entrance is off-putting at first, but once you get inside, it's clean, comfortable, and the food is really good. We'll definitely be back--next time we'll just know to trust the arrows and keep walking. read more

This was a fun place to have rotating skewers grilled at the table! It was clean and service was good.

Tried this place out a couple weeks ago and we were happy we dropped tried them out. Definitely get the Spicy Cucumber with Black Mushroom as a sode dish. It is soo good. The meats were good as well. Tastes good. The potatoes pancakes were decent. But a little oilier than I'd like. The stir fry udon is not bad.i doesn't mind it, but the husband didn't like the ginger slices. Service was ok. There wasn't a lot of people and it took a little time to flag someone down, or a few tries to get what we requested. The wait staff was friendly though. And much appreciated.
