Absolutely fantastic! The meat was juicy & seasoned well. The fries were nice and crispy.

Surprisingly I really enjoyed their Halal Lamb platter with salad. I say surprisingly because I don't expect much from a food court. I hardly eat at one these days. However, I found myself at the mall and really enjoyed this meal. You get a healthy portion of lamb over a light brown rice topped with special white sauce. Yummy! Check them out.

If I could give this ten stars, I would. I took the time to read the reviews to make sure I ordered the right thing and settled on the chicken platter. The chicken is moist and flavorful, the rice cooks well, and the sauce is excellent. I could eat this every single day.

Lamb gyro with a side of fries

I'm gonna start by saying this is a welcome addition to a food court and a mall that has seen lots of turnover in recent years as well as a community with a serious lack of diverse food options. I saw this place was open the other night when I went to the movies and made a mental note because I was familiar with the Baba's Halal at the Towson Mall. Tonight, I got a carry out order and I am happy to report this location lives up to their reputation. The meat was savory, salty, and served on a fluffy pita. There was also some nice veg on the gyro to add some freshness / texture to cut through the saltiness and creaminess of the white sauce. The sauce, by the way, is addicting -- be sure to get an extra side of it because you're gonna want it. As for the fries that came with the gyro, they're not anything special and it's nice that they come complimentary with sandwiches, but I would have been disappointed if I had paid for them on the side (as is the case when you order a plate instead of a sandwich). I will say they're the crunchy seasoned variety of fry vs. a basic shoestring, so texturally they're more exciting, but they're a step below from the seasoned fries you'd get from a Popeyes for example. Maybe it's on me for going the takeout route instead of eating it right away, but that was the vibe I got. On that note, if they went the fresh, hand cut fry route, like the Five Guys does literally 50 feet away, I think it would be a game changer that I would happily pay a premium for. Overall, I am very pleased with my first experience with this location and look forward to having more meals here whenever I go to the mall (I am SO tired of Chick-Fil-A and Charley's and Chipotle). I will update this review once I've eaten one of their signature plates.

They are definitely lighter on the sauce, so if that's your preference these are perfect. Personally, I like my wings a little saucier, so I would probably ask for extra sauce next time. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and the portion size was pretty solid. For my main, I got the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo sauce and it was amazing. The lettuce, guac, and pico all tasted fresh and paired really nicely with the breaded chicken in the wrap. My only complaint with it is they go pretty light on the guac and pico, so I wish there was a bit more of both. The pricing overall was fair too and didn't feel over the top for the quality and portions. The fries that came with the wrap deserve their own mention because they were phenomenal. Crispy golden brown on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Honestly, I'd come back just for the fries alone. I requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and they have a really nice outdoor section with a great atmosphere and view. They did a good job with the space they had, but the tables are pretty close together, so you can hear basically every conversation around you. The chairs were also a bit smaller and not the most comfortable for longer seating. Service was great all around. Our server was very polite and even helped my very undecided sister choose her meal. Everyone was friendly and it definitely feels like a nice place to bring friends or family. My only real complaint, and honestly this applies to a lot of places nearby, is the parking. It was pretty rough. Other than that, definitely a place I'd come back to.

I had a mixed experience overall…read more I ordered the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken had good seasoning and flavor, which I did enjoy. However, the chicken was breast meat and sliced thin, which made it come across as dry. I did tell the server I liked it and didn't go into much detail since she seemed very busy and I didn't want to add stress in the moment. Still, it's not something I would personally order again. The waffle situation was more frustrating. I initially received cornmeal waffles, but I had told my server ahead of time that I strongly avoid cornmeal. She said she would substitute them, so I was surprised when the plate came out with the original cornmeal waffles. I didn't realize at first and ended up taking a bite before noticing. I let the server know and she had the kitchen remake it. The replacement Belgian waffles were overcooked and dense, so they didn't really improve the experience. The butter though was genuinely delicious, just very rich and more of a holiday-style flavor than something I'd personally crave in warmer weather. I also had a basic cup of coffee made with Rise Up Coffee Roasters, which was $4.50. That felt overpriced for what it was. I could have walked right across the street and had a specialty coffee from the source for very little extra cost, which honestly would have been the better choice. Overall, the experience had some clear issues, especially with the waffle mix-up and consistency, but it wasn't completely disappointing. I just don't think I would personally order the same meal again.

We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!

We started with Arabic coffee and the Harra Wala cocktail--both were really good. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and the cocktail was unique and refreshing. The lentil soup was super comforting too. For dessert, we got the raspberry sorbet and baklava--perfect way to end the meal. The sorbet was light and refreshing, and the baklava was sweet and flaky. Service was great. Our server made sure we enjoyed our meal and was available to explain the menu options and checking on time to time if we need anything. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely go back!
