I was insanely disappointed by the food. We ordered hummus, a gyro, and chicken kabob that came with rice. The hummus had a red tint and no flavor (it was supposed to be regular hummus so why was it red?) the gyro was flavorless as was the tzatziki on top, and the chicken kabob was the same. As for the rice- the vegetables in it were straight from a can. For the price? No thank you. read more

Continuing 4 east of my home zip code is Severna Park 21146. I went here 3 times on a Wednesday night for their trivia night in 2022-2023. I got the burger special every time as that was the best deal, and the burger was good. If I ever went to Romilo's on a non-Wednesday, I'd try their other food as the burger would be regular price. Service is pretty good and staff is nice. I need to come back, but it's a bit far from my home on a Wednesday night, but it's a nice trivia group and trivia is a fun time. read more

Went there for lunch with my daughter and we got two salads, one entrée, French fries and a cup of soup. The prices for the food were astronomically high. Additionally, we stood there for a few minutes without anybody in the kitchen acknowledging that we were there, even though they looked over at us multiple times before the server/host came out from the back and seated us. The table was sticky. The food was OK but not awesome - I didn't finish it. My house salad dressing was almost all oil hardly any vinegar. We probably won't be returning. read more

My mom, family friend, and I frequented this place over the past couple years. It was one of our family friend's favorite restaurants in the area. We'd always go for lunch on a Monday around the time they opened. Corinne D was usually our server and we'd always get excellent service. She's friendly, upbeat, and attentive. We always start with the fried mozzarella sticks appetizer. There are 6 to an order and come with marinara sauce. They come out pipping hot. One of my favorites is the gyro. It's stuffed with meat and there is plenty of tzatziki and fixings inside. The fries are crispy and hot. All the sandwiches come with a pickle, which I love. My mom and friend love the Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. The bread is soft and they include plenty of steak. Our family friend loves cream chipped beef, and theirs is no exception. The biscuits are smothered in the chipped beef and gravy. The breakfast potatoes are mixed with green peppers and onions. My mom likes the brioche french toast with the strawberry sauce (on the side), and the BLT sandwich. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich, which comes with eggs, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The bread is toasted. I love that first bite crunch. The potatoes are well seasoned. Overall, we enjoy our breakfast and lunches here. I'd like to come back and enjoy some of the other dishes they have to offer. read more

Worst restaurant experience in a long, long time. (Coming from a former frequent customer) Dined today in the bar side for the first time. Was confused at first about whether the high tops had servers, but asked and someone came over to take our order. She brought our drinks, took our pizza order, and that was basically the last time she came over. After a bit, our pizza was ready and sitting in the food window for over 15 minutes. We were unable to find our server again or have anyone from the staff bring it over. Asked a young man who kindly brought it to us, and I got up to get silverware, napkins, and toppings from the server station myself after a few minutes. Up until this point I was willing to forget it, as I've worked in restaurants myself and just accepted it was not great service but I was able to get pretty much everything I needed from the station behind me. When we went to pay, we went up to the bar after again not seeing our server again for awhile. When we were given the bill, 20% tip was already included, without being told, and it was not posted anywhere that it would be included for any special reason. I then asked to have this taken off as I experienced pretty bad service, and the bartender processed to almost berate me and accuse me for "not paying the kids" that work with her. Again, as someone who worked as a server for years, I understand a low or zero tip can hurt, but when I receive zero service, you cannot just expect a 20% tip (that you didn't tell me was included). Won't be going back after years of being a customer based on how this bartender handled this! read more

This place is terrible. We visited for the first time with our kids and will never be back. The owner is apparently Greek but it's the worst Greek gyro I've tasted. The place was empty at 5:30 which should have been a clear indicator. The prices are astronomical for below subpar food and the kids meals are $9-$10+ for pasta. There's nothing worse than paying a premium for food out on a night you don't want to cook for terrible food and prices. I went to an event 3 days ago which featured a brunch with bottomless mimosa's. At previous venues food, and/or snacks were included but not today. 2 orders of chipped beef and gravy 1 order of fried eggs, toast, cubed potato's and bacon,2 coffee's and 1 mimosa cost $98.00. They served us without utensils and my toast. I went to get the toast which had been sitting on a counter, of course it was cold and no butter. Not a great experience. I've tried several menu items and I was only disappointed once and that was the chicken and waffles. That dish is suited for the children's menu only. Other than that everything I've had has been great. I absolutely love the meatball sub like I crave it which craving something I've had at a restaurant always stands out to me because it doesn't happen to often. Romilo's is a wonderful local hangout with great vibes, food, music, and community. The staff and management are friendly and attentive, and work hard to take good care of their customers and make sure everyone has a good time. I've been going to Romilo's for years. It has a great sports bar atmosphere with multiple TVs always showing various games and sporting events. The food and drinks are delicious too with a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, Greek and Italian dishes, and daily specials. I highly recommend the deluxe pizza, which I think is the best around. Romilo's has live music on Friday and Saturday nights featuring terrific local bands. Romilo's is a true "Cheers" style bar for my friends and I. We often meet there for a fun night out with dinner and listening to the bands playing on both Friday and Saturday nights and some Thursday nights too. Oh, and there are Karaoke and Trivia nights as well. read more

We eat here frequently and have had two large group events. The events went very well and I recommend their space. Different visits for the items below. I was surprised when I asked what sides came with the children's chicken tenders and was told nothing. For $9 I would have expected a few fries. I ordered a hot tea and asked for a refill and was charged $4 each ($8) for the hot tea. When I asked I was told they charge for each tea bag. The cups were the small coffee cups used in diners. The server didn't tell me they charged for each tea bag, I was shocked. read more

In a word, pricey. I should have known we were in trouble when even the kid's meals were almost $10 with no drinks. And to charge an extra $2 for a meatball with the kid's pasta? Are you serious!? My family ordered a variety of food from the pita pizza to the crab cakes. You'd expect for crab cakes to be pricey, which they were ($35+). I was torn between a reuben and a gyro. Growing up outside of Detroit I've had PLENTY of good gyros. Sadly, theirs was far from the top. Not the worst I've ever had, but definitely not the best. The tsasiki sauce was bland and left a lot to be desired. IMO, that's what brings it all together. And then to have an upcharge from chips to fries? Could you nickle and dime your customers any more? I'm fine with restaurants charging more to pay their staff a living wage, but I'd expect either better quality food or more of it. Romilo's didn't give either. We woke up the following day and were trying to find a place for brunch before I flew back yo SC. My parents recommended Romilos for brunch and I was very skeptical. I've been numerous times and have good experiences. The food is good with lots of choices although one person in my family is disappointed that liver and onions was removed from the menu. Alcohol prices are a bit lower than their nearby competition. The staff is nice, service is good and they have carry out. Love the bands they have on weekends - hard to find good live music, and space to dance, in Severna Park and not pay $$ to walk in the door. The gyros, grape leaves, rice pudding and baklava are so delicious. If you get the gyro platter it is a ton of food for 1 person. We have had many issues ordering to go where an item or items are missing. Place has changed. Down to the menu and the ambiance. The newly acquired ambiance does not make up for the menu. The Greek turkey burger is small, not what it said it came with, and bland. The gyro has hard seeds in it grossly hard to chew through. The portion sides are inconsistent and the care for the menu and food quality is scant. The best thing they have going for them is the tzatziki, which tasted like it was consistent for the same taste years ago. When it comes down to the verdict, it's not worth your money or time, and a boring atmosphere and menu. Go into Baltimore, better yet "Greek Town", for much better and more authentic.... This place didn't really do anything for me. We stopped in for dinner one night and honestly if I based my review only on the pizza, it would have been a two. Started out dinner with a Greek Salad that was good. I really liked their house dressing and the veggies were fresh. Next came the calamari which was also decent but the pizza was a big let down. Definitely not hand tossed which isn't the end of the world but the chewy mozzarella, bland sauce and crust did have me looking for an impending world ending meteor strike lol I will say that house wine selection was very decent. That is what I told the girl at the counter and her sidekick (a manager?), who just stared at me with an "oh well" expression as I left. Extremely disappointed in my carry out meal this evening. I understand prices are on the rise everywhere but felt totally nickel and dimed on my meal. First off, the Greek salad is always great but one very small container of dressing for a large salad is ridiculous. (Up charge for another). The biggest disappointment was my sons cheesesteak sub the whole 8 in sub had maybe 3 tablespoons of meat on the whole sandwich. We got take out from here tonight and the food was good! I got a gyro platter and thought it came with plenty of food. They gyro meat was good and the pita was tasty. We also had orders some subs and pita sandwiches which everyone enjoyed as well. One of the sides for the sandwich was Cole slaw and it was a $3 charge which is fine because it said it clearly but I just don't think that it was worth it. OT was a tiny little portion. The onion rings however, also an up charge , are so worth it! They were so tasty! My husband said the brunch menu looks good so I'm sure we'll get in there to try that out. read more
