There are 3 of these places and they are all different. This one is more of an Italian restaurant than a pizza place. We were really excited to get the opportunity to try it. We really had some mixed thoughts on the food and service we got. There was only 1 server. She had a young man helping her, but he was not a server and was very unsure of everything he did. The place was probably half capacity, so there was a lot of work for the server to keep up. They have a really great salad bar. You don't see these often anymore and when you do, they are usually basic. This was 2 full bars, everything was fresh and there were so many choices. For apps we had garlic knots and mussels. The garlic knots looked like they had to much garlic, but they had the perfect amount. The mussels were just okay. A little over done and way to much tomato sauce. I ordered the veal Parmigian with spaghetti. The veal was very over cooked. There was burned areas on the edges and veal was tough. The sauce was good though. The noodles were not spaghetti but angel hair. I do not like the texture of angel hair so this was disappointing. My wife ordered meatballs with her entree. When it was delivered the meatballs were not there. The server did not enter them. When it was corrected they came out quickly. Our whole party said the food was good. Maybe just stay away from the veal. Our drinks were not filled regularly and it took forever to get our bill but I think this was due to under staging.

    New menu..

Nice lunch special on thursday. Rich, meaty, delicious lasagna and a salad plus my drink. I had leftovers to take home. Great price for large portions. I Usually get the large salad bar. ....One of our favorite spots to eat..

On a Friday night and wanted to try some local food ....pizza is always a great choice. I figured calling in would be the quickest way of service. I looked online and it read 60-75 minutes. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza and garlic knots . This location was less than 5 minutes from my hotel so this guaranteed a hot pizza. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the pizza. I loved the garlic knots and it's mouth watering flavor. The price was a little more than what I expected. I am in favor of supporting local businesses over franchises and this ambiance was worth it. Great pizza and plenty of parking

We were looking for something open kinda late and I was browsing photos. I saw a picture of a delicious looking calzone. This was the best I have had almost in my life!!!! Every time I think of it I want to rush back there! (But I live in Indiana) It will be an every trip place though!

Ops has the best garlic knots! Pizza was pretty good and the price was fair. We would go back.

Our return to Fernandina Island and The Patio discovered the same great food and terrific service provided by Kimmi. Patio is by far one of island favorites. It's obvious locals agree as a short wait for a table indicated it is truly a destination for food. Server Kimmi served up delicious fare in whirlwind speed, then kept tabs on every need. Food was memorable so we opted for the same combination from our first visit. Thank you The Patio for a great experience. From our previous visit over a year ago, read on...

Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

In a moment of clumsiness, I accidentally deleted the email and thought it was gone for good. I reached out in desperation, and to my surprise, manager Colin personally stepped in. He contacted corporate right away and made sure the gift certificate was resent to me promptly. That kind of care and follow-through is rare these days, and it speaks volumes about the family-oriented, customer-first culture at The Boat House. It made me even more excited for our next visit. Thank you, Colin, and the whole team -- you've gained a loyal customer and turned what could have been a frustrating situation into one that highlights why The Boathouse stands out. Highly recommend!

My wife, who was jonesing for clam strips for some reason, decided to order fried clam strips even though I cautioned her they're not known for clams AND we'll be making a separate trip to Cedar Key (clam capital) sometime soon. Anyway, my dish was good. The shrimp were well prepared, tender and not rubbery with crispy breading that wasn't too greasy. The cilantro ranch dipping sauce was a good compliment. My wife liked her clam strips even though some pieces were a bit chewy. The batter was nice and crispy and didn't seem greasy but she thought it had too many little pieces. Oh yeah, those hush puppies were quite good! Good ambience and decent value for fresh seafood. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to just under $32 with tip.
