Order a spicy chicken sandwich and I didn't finish it. I'm not sure what I expected, but a chicken patty with a drizzle of buffalo sauce wasn't it. It was good, just not what I thought it was gonna be. And my bun got soggy halfway through. That sucked. I'll probably order a burger next time. We had some chicken tenders too! Second time going to this location, I've had nothing but problems this time. The first time it took 40 minutes to get my food ( 2 philly steaks) which is understandable because rona but it was ridiculous. Then I come back today and they rang my 15pc nugget order up for a 6piece which my 6 year old brother was very sad about. Then they missed my other brothers entire order of 2 pizza puffs and just gave him fries. The onion rings we ordered were extremely burnt. So we called and the lady on the line disrespected my brother for "yelling" when he was asking us where the receipt was. I have not had any worse customer service from anywhere ever. Came to Baba's on Easter being that half the restaurants were closed and craving a burger. I've had the lemonade here which tastes great but have never had the food. Went thru the drive-thru and it was hard to know when to order because I could hardly hear the person on the other side because the intercom's volume was low. They even got my simple order wrong because I had a hard time understanding them. It took a long time to get my food as I waited for my order in park for about 7-10 minutes and the woman working did not seem happy to be there. I had the double cheeseburger and a small order of cheese fries. The prices are great, pretty inexpensive. The food tastes decent nothing great. I brought chicken last weekend the chicken wasn't done all the way in the middle, I had to take my kids food off there plate take it back to them they dropped the chicken back in the grease and the fries that was left in there. I didn't see till I got home that this was the same chicken and they didn't replace all the fries and to know they didn't give me fresh fries and only half of the order of fries so I called and complained about it the employee apologized and took my name stating they will replace my entire meal when I came back so tonight I called to get my food from the other day and she asked if I had a receipt I told her no I don't they never said I needed the receipt just my name and give them her name which was "Country" that's the name of the employee from Saturday that I spoke with now today they won't replace my food without a receipt which isn't what I was told. I'm very upset about it because I spent $24.39 on some chicken that wasn't all the way done. Every time me or my husband get chicken it's the same thing "I shouldn't have to tell them to fry my chicken hard in order for it to be done all the way" if they don't know how to cook chicken thoroughly it should be on the menu at all they gonna mess around and give someone food poisoning like that. When Baba's does it right it is awesome! But it rarely gets it right when you order from the drive thru. If you bring it back in because your order is wrong, they deny what you ordered. My husband and I like the steak and cheese sub with extra cheese with a little bit of mayo, it is yummy, if they make it right for you. My daughter gets the chicken sandwich, but she doesn't get what she wants. I will try ordering inside, maybe I will have better luck. read more

This was a first for me, I go by this place everyday, and they always have signs out front, hamburger and fries, $1.00, hot dog and fries, $1.00, Chicken strips and fries, $1.00, well last night they had a sign 10 pieces of chicken and fries, no not a dollar, but $5.00. First let my say I never knew chickens could come in small sizes, I can see how they caught him, he was too little to run away, The meat was OK but I thought it had a little bit of a fish taste, but sometimes you get that in the places that sell a lot of fish products, the fries were good The lady at the drive thru was very pleasant, it takes awhile to get your food, but they have a sign that says sorry for the delay but we cook all our food fresh, which is nice, knowing it did not sit under a heat lamp for hours. Baba's used to be great. Management must have changed recently because the staff is all new and not very knowledgeable. We started out trying the drive-thru...no one answered so we went inside. It still took about 15 minutes to get a sandwich and two hot dogs. Perhaps there was a language barrier but it was difficult to order a 2 hot dog combo, even though it is a menu item with a combo number. We got the food home to find out the hot dogs were cold, buns were stale and they didn't include the pop. We'll never go back and certainly don't recommend Baba's to anyone we like. Decided to go in after hearing good things from my co workers. The inside and outside didn't look too inviting. From the big signs that covered most of the windows to the loud rap music the kitchen staff was trying to get the cashier to play, this place felt like a fish/rib joint that I would find in the southside/westside part of the city. I ended up with a gyro and fries ($5.59) and a lemonade ($2.10 20 oz.) to go. While they weren't skimpy with the gyro meat and fries, it wasn't anything to rave about. The meat was dry but, that could of been a result of sitting in the car for a 1/2 hour. The lemonade was great and was actually freshly squeezed. There's a guy in the back whose only job is to prepare the lemonade drinks. All in all, if you're uncomfortable with getting your food in a ghetto atmosphere, then skip this place. read more

This spot is really good! I was referred to this place by many Chicago natives & I am satisfied with the food without a doubt since I'm from California. My only issue with this establishment is that NONE of the workers are wearing MASKS. We asked why they weren't wearing masks, "We ran out of masks." Was the answer I received. But I was truly amazed at the Philly cheese steak they sell.(Their most popular sandwich and A MUST TRY). Totally fresh all the way around. 2nd thing is their FROZEN LEMONADE IS A MUST TRY! You'll be impressed on the 20 some-odd favors you can get your choice of. And lastly, I ordered some chicken wings on my second trip there just to see how they were. And I'm a chicken wing fanatic. They were very hot, fresh and just what you want when you have a taste for them.(I had them put lemon pepper seasoning on them and gave it that "special something") The staff is exceptional, nice..
