I've been to two of the three locations in town and every time I'm treated with respect and honesty. My first experience with Babbitt was having my 2000 528 wagon towed in over the weekend with out-of-state plates, a situation that would worry anyone. Babbitt called me first thing in the morning on Monday with a plan for diagnosing the electrical problems. Later in the morning, they called with a clear, reasonable estimate outlining the required and recommended repairs. The work was completed quickly and the car was returned to me washed and clean. I have had both routine maintenance and unexpected repair at Babbitt a total of 3 times, and, I am a big fan. The prices are better than Chapman and the service is extremely fast. It can be tough to swallow the cost of bmw repair, but Babbitt has a good shop. I was happy to find out that the parts and service come with a 2 year warranty too. I was so pleasantly surprised when I went to the Tempe location, the Office Manager Brad gave me an even better customer experience. We had a little debacle with my insurance company, totally on my insurance company, but Brad was so patient and helpful. He made multiple calls and did a great job of keeping me informed, knowing I wanted to get my front headlight fixed before leaving town over the weekend. He truly went above and beyond, as I was in meetings for 3 days, so he left messages and texted as I had asked... and all along with a great attitude - his customer service was amazing, something very hard to find these days in the service industry. The end result was a fairly fast turn around on the replacement that looked great. i'm still unsure exactly how i feel about them. last wednesday my bmw has crazy malfunction alerts going off & eventually my car goes into limp mode. i get it towed to the shop, they said $2000.00 so i paid but when they told me it was ready, they said the blower motor was broken so literally no air can pass thru the vents. i'm over here thinking i just paid $2000.00 i got a new compressor but the motor blower was broken so i've gotta spend more money . probably will never return read more

Honest & Awesome. I had a "low engine oil level" light come up on my BMW, as usual, I called up Babbitt and a few other workshops, on the phone, they did say it could be a slow oil leak. Took it in to Babbit, one of the tech's looked at my car, all it was was low oil level :) They topped it off and its been good ever since! All they charged me was for 2 quarts of synthetic oil + tax (about $15). Theyre super awesome and wont reccomend or perform maint / repairs that are not needed. Labor is a little on the higher side compared to other shops in the valley, but well worth it, especially since you get dealership quality service (or better!) at a fraction of the price. read more

Had been going here for a while but not any more. Left car overnight because it was not starting properly. Didn't hear back from them in the morning even after leaving a message. When I finally got through they seemed uninterested in hearing my description of the problem. Wasn't until late in the afternoon that I heard back--they found no faults on the computer so that was that. I started asking some questions, hoping to get ideas about this potentially very serious problem. Got attitude and annoyance in response. I took my 2008 335i to Babbitt Motor Werks in Tempe for rear brake pads, rotors and a brake fluid flush. Babbitt was much cheaper than what the dealer had quoted me for the work. Brad at the front desk was very helpful and the final price was what he had quoted me over the phone the week prior. Work was done while I waited in the lobby, free Wi-Fi let me work while my car was being repaired. This was my first time there but I will definitely go back. read more

Brad is the friendliest guy & knows his stuff - but when he doesn't - he has a very experienced team behind him.
