The food is as good as the view. A good preparation of Corned Beef Hash with sunny-side eggs AND 1/2 orders of both fried potatoes and fried rice. Solid 3.5 for food and preparation. Service and Ambiance were just as nice.

It's been a while since I've been to Babs and it's still as delicious as the last time I ate it. Always busy but service was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was great. She so friendly and attentive. This is the first time I tried their Loco Moco and it was delicious. Meat wasn't dry at all. Plenty of gravy and those grilled onions and mushrooms made it so much better and on top of their fried rice. Just perfect. I don't know what they put in their fried rice but it's always on point. They also have the best sausage links. Nothing negative to say about this place at all.

Wow talk about your throwback diner. This place was fantastic. Also with the portion sizes, you can more or less plan on skipping lunch. We were heading to Mather for an airshow and my son this place so we headed in to load up pre show. Friendly service and the place was clean. This would have been a 5 star easily except for the eggs on my bennidict. First off this is a massive amount of food. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked and the green onions brightened both the presentation and the palate. The hollandiase sauce was rich and tasty as well. The eggs should have runny yolks but they were mostly solid. Sadly this overcooked yolks takes this from an easy 5 to a 4. I suspect its an aberration, and we will be back and re-review at a later point. This place is a hidden gem for sure

I've been eating at this establishment since I was a child, and today is the day I finally leave a proper review, since I had my partner try it for the first time. We did take-out since I'm injured, but I looove the outdoor patio by the water, it's delightful and less noisy than the tiny inside. The service this time was very quick, I called it in and it was ready for pickup within 15 minutes. I usually go for Rods special, but stepped out of my box to try something new, objectively. I got the 4 link breakfast (5/5), and I must say the sage in the sausage really put the flavor over the top, it was juicy, well cooked, and perfect with the carbs (fried rice 5/5, country potatoes 4/5, and sourdough toast 5/5). The meal was a solid 4.75/5. My partner tried the burger, which he was not crazy about. The burger was very well done, and for him wasn't very flavorful. He said the fries were phenomenal 5/5, and overall the burger was a 3.5/5 so a 4.25 because they gave an abundance of toppings, the fries were delicious and the portion size was perfect. Overall, I give Bab's a 4.5/5 for its great food and quick service!

We were in the area and my hubby and I decided to have brunch here. We were expecting the place to be still be packed but surprisingly it wasn't. We got seated quickly and we chose to sit outside because the weather was perfect. Our server, Shelby was so awesome! She was so attentive! She quickly took our orders and got our drinks quickly and she checked on us from time to time asking us if we needed anything else and asked we wanted refills and all the while helping out other customers around us. Our food came out at a decent amount of time as well. My husband and I both enjoyed it and our steak and eggs/fried rice were all cooked perfectly. We definitely were full by the end of it. I can't recommend this breakfast/brunch spot enough. If you are in the Suisun or Fairfield area I highly recommend it. Can't beat the food and the waterfront view. Our definite go to breakfast/brunch spot.

Small spot but big in good vibes, quick service, we got our food fresh off the grill hot & ready to eat !! Spot on customer service, I am definitely going to go back for seconds

Met the kids and their spouses for brunch after they hung out and went to a jui jitsu open match. Had never been to down town Benicia and it was fun. The restaurant was very busy and unfortunately they ran out of eggs Benedict and chilaquiles which is apparently common if you get here too late in day. They close early so early is the word here. I got the steak and eggs and wife and kids had a variety of lunch and breakfast items. The breakfast potatoes with onions were a hit around our table. We saw many, many locals having the fried rice with breakfast or lunch and it look awesome so that is a must next time. Nice views, good service and great food. Overall 4.5 stars.

A this is my favorite place to get island breakfast. I usually get the bacon eggs and fried rice. You have to get the fried rice that's the rule - it is so so good. I usually also upgrade to the biscuit from the toast and I take the biscuit home, which is really good later on. I like sitting on the patio and getting some fresh air and looking at the boats and the service is usually pretty prompt. The whole family finds something they like. Value is okay given the size of the portions.

Love the dining area (except the fly that kept annoying us near the end). Prompt service! Large portions of delicious food. Will definitely come back again!

If you haven't explored the many great restaurants, brew pubs, and hidden gems in Suisun City, you're missing out. Get there quick so you can say you were a fan before it became famous. A great place to start is Bab's Delta Diner. Real truth in advertising as it is absolutely a Diner and with beautiful views of the Delta. We arrived around 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning and there were people waiting out front for a table. We waited less than 10 minutes for our inside table. They have outside tables if that's your preference. We had breakfast favorites, homemade corned beef hash, French toast, pancakes, and a scrambler, and all were great. The special plate was Loco Moco (for the uninitiated, that's a burger patty served on a bed of rice, covered with brown gravy and two eggs over easy, an Hawaiian favorite). It was served over fried rice and white rice was available as an option. I had a hamburger patty but a Spam patty was also available as an option. Nicknamed by some as a heart attack on a plate, I think it's worth the risk! All the food was served promptly and very hot. Our waitress was delightful. So this is a great place to start your discovery of Suisun City. A hint for where to go next? Cast Iron Grill & Bar and the It's It Ice Cream Factory Outlet.

We had reservations just because it was mothers day and we knew it would be busy and it was. We got there a little early and sat down right away. The place has plenty of outside and inside seating. When we sat down a waiter came right away and asked if we wanted water and told us our waiter would be right with us. Our waiter came shortly after that and asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a bottle a sparkling wine. We ordered the poutine fries to start. The bottle of sparkling came out right away. The poutine came out not to long after that. The short rib was tender and juicy, the fries were cooked perfect, the cheese on it was melted, but it needed some gravy and more cheese. The original Canadian poutine has the gravy on it and the cheese curds which are so delicious. If this had the gravy on it, it would be a 10 in my book because of the short ribs and the fries were perfect. For our entrees we ordered the short rib eggs benedict and the chicken & waffles. The food came out pretty quick which was nice. The short rib eggs benedict was cooked perfect. Of course the short ribs was tender, and the hollandaise sauce was nice. The chicken and waffles was cooked perfect, the flavor on both was nice, the chicken was tender and juicy. The must have brined the chicken in order for it to be so tender and juicy, if not, they did a great job either way. The waffles were also cooked perfect and they had some type of flavor to it that you didn't even need syrup. I observed the staff working and everyone was working together and bringing stuff and picking up from all the tables. Kudos to the whole staff. Our waiter was also great so good job to him as well. We were too stuffed for dessert so next time we shall try some. The 5 was close to getting it but the poutine just needed some gravy in my opinion.

I ordered the chicken Philly and specifically asked for no mayo, which was also noted on my receipt. I also asked for jalapeños because the menu listed "hot and sweet peppers," but the server said those were more like bell peppers. The fresh jalapeños ended up being an extra $1.50. Unfortunately, the sandwich arrived with mayo on both sides of the bread. I was already very hungry and getting a headache, so instead of sending it back and waiting again, I tried scraping most of it off. Even after that, the sandwich was still very heavy. There was also a lot of melted cheese that tasted closer to an American or Cheez-Whiz style cheese rather than something milder like provolone or Swiss, which made the sandwich very wet and overly rich. I ended up eating less than half of the sandwich before giving up on it. The garlic fries were decent, though they were very thin shoestring fries and the portion looked larger than it actually was because they were spread out across the tray. The pickle on the side was very soft and soggy and had an unusual mix of dill and sweet flavors, so I only took one bite. To the server's credit, when she saw that I wasn't taking the sandwich to go and mentioned the mayo issue, she gave me 20% off the bill, which I appreciated. However, since more than half of the sandwich went uneaten due to the mistake, a larger adjustment might have felt more appropriate. Overall, the experience was pretty average ("meh"), and while the staff was polite, the food itself didn't live up to expectations. I probably wouldn't return on my own.
