Service was attentive, but we got there before the brunch rush, so I can't speak to what it's like when it's busy. Unfortunately, that's kinda where it fell off for us. Most of mine was cold - and that's pretty bad when yuh have something called a 'skillet' (which wasn't in one, by the way...) My daughter's Benedict was... Spongy and weird and so were the hashbrowns and the hollandaise was just kind of off, and runny. What was epic?? The FRUIT. Large portion, berries and mango and none of the filler melons that most places use. It was the good stuff! In my opinion, the restaurant could use some remodeling and general updates. The structure feels a little dated, and there are small details that stand out if you're paying attention. The mimosa flights are what seem to draw a big crowd. They're cute and very aesthetic, which I think is part of the appeal. Some of them can be on the sweeter side, so if you enjoy fruity, sweet drinks, you'll probably love them. As for the food, it just hasn't been my favorite. I went here this past weekend for the second time. First time was ok. Not amazing but not bad enough not to want to give another try. I ordered the loco moco because it reminds me of a dish I got in Japan. Didn't get any pictures because it kind of just looked like slop. in parenthesis on the menu next to rice it reads like you can sub the rice for corn beef hash so I asked the waitress to sub rice for corn beef hash. She asked me to repeat so I did and she said no rice got it. Didn't clarify the subbing thing just put no rice. Apparently this subs the pattty for corn beef and thats what they brought out. I told the waitress about my misunderstanding and she offered to bring the patty. Ok cool. At this point I had already had my food for a while, probably around 5-7 min by the time she came back by. I was waiting to eat as my kids had not received theirs. Their food finally comes out around 5-7min later, we all eat (the corn beef hash was terrible. I do not recommend and I did not eat). We finish and ask for the check. Waitress was like oh you still haven't received your patty? (This was probably 30ish min after offering) Tell her no I'm good we are already done. Shes like ok i'm going to check what happened anyway. Brings it out‍ and says oh it's done and leaves it on the table. I try a bite and its bland burger patty. She then brings my check and charged the corn beef hash separately ($14!!). Complete waste of money. It was awful, I did not eat it and legit thought it was just a side instead of rice. There is no way I would have paid $14 for that. We will not be back. The waffles are also a bit too overcooked and taste burnt. Overall I would recommend this place. I have been there several times and at different times. The weekends are busy so be prepared to wait especially with a large party. They do not take reservations. The food and customer is service is good. All the servers are pretty laid back but kind. This place was on my instagram for awhile so I decided to give it a try. The service was really good, we sat at the bar area and our server was the owner. He was very nice and I can tell he was passionate about the food he makes and where he comes from. The interior was cool as well, no complaints and they keep the area clean. Fruity Pebble Waffle: 8/10, nice presentation, tastes exactly how we expected and the sausage and eggs were cooked nicely. Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: 8/10, if you love cinnamon rolls you'll really like these. Honestly, I'd sooner come back with more people as the portions are big.. My niece picked this place for her 21st birthday. Very cool vibe. Music was mostly R&B but not too loud. We sat at the bar because there was still 30 minute wait for a table. The bar tender, JC, informed us that he was closing out another table and would be right with us. He continued to check in but not be intrusive. The food: The presentation of my waffle was beautiful. The bacon was thick and cooked well. It arrived without butter but when they brought it is was already room temp and spreadable. The Mister said his omelet was good but a bit cold. Walked in on a Saturday for brunch. It was pretty busy and was given a 10-14 min wait for 2. We honestly didn't wait 10 min. There is no waiting area and do not crowd the door. They take your cell number and text and call you when your table is ready. This spot occupies the spot of one of my previous fave Italian restaurants- Chianti Osteria. Some changes inside but overall the set up is the same. Our server was attentive and friendly; even apologized for the wait but it wasn't bad. After hearing such great things about this place I finally managed to find time to sneak away from my normal busy morning to have breakfast here with my family. As I parked my vehicle, I see a man walking out of the cafe glaring at me as if I was parking where I shouldn't be. I though nothing of it and walked in. As I was observing and admiring the decor, I see the "parking enforcer" sitting near the front door with a laptop glaring at the patrons, including myself. We had mixed reviews about this place. Let's start with the food. I had the avocado toast which I enjoyed. The toast was nicely toasted, not rubbery like at some places. Plenty of avocado and feta cheese, it was however missing a poached egg in my opinion. The country fried steak was a total miss. It tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. The gravy not only looked watery, it had no taste. The little pieces of sausage they put on top really did not help and were completely unnecessary. Their Conchita french toast was meh. It would have been more tasteful if they actually soaked the concha in french toast batter instead of just throwing it on the griddle and drizzling sweet condensed milk over it. I wanted to be a fan of it, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The other thing worth mentioning was the DJ placed awkwardly in the midst of the restaurant. We came at 11:30 on a Saturday to do brunch and saw that there were some people waiting outside. When we came in they asked if we were on the waitlist, said no, and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. No big deal, we went outside to wait, and were texted that our table was ready even before the 30 minutes were up. You will have to stand outside to wait, and parking can be a bit tricky when it's packed. A cute and small place, with a bar in the middle. We were sat next to the bathrooms and felt like we had enough privacy to have a conversation but still be engrossed in the atmosphere with other diners. Hip hop and trendy music was playing, with mimosa towers on every other table, so definitely a place for younger people. Service was pretty good - our waiter checked on us maybe twice, refilled our waters, and brought us the check after saying he would after about two passes by our table. Once we ordered our food it came pretty quickly, about 5 minutes and piping hot. I ordered the Meat Lovers big breakfast, which was like a scramble bowl. Delicious and filling, could use a bit more flavor, but was pretty good. I also ordered the cotton candy mimosa, and while good, could have been bigger for $7.50. My friend got the Cinnamon Roll pancake (because unfortunately the French toast version was sold out) but she also said it was really good. Overall, service and food speed were the highlights. However, there were at least three open tables and an open bar, yet we were told our booth was "the most popular." The owner was no help and simply repeated that "all restaurants have a time policy." We were already finishing up, but the lack of consideration and dismissive response from the owner were disappointing. It was EXTREMELY sugary. Drenched with a sweet cream sauce and powdered sugar on an already sweet bread turned into French toast with syrup served on the side as well. Unfortunately the sweet sauce ran into my eggs and just soaked them, making them overly sugary too. The best part of my dish was the sausage. The atmosphere was decent. The space felt clean and very picture-ready, but the music was pretty loud with a club-like vibe, which made it feel more like a hangover breakfast spot than a relaxed brunch place. That might be where the "Bar" comes in. Service was decent. Not a terrible experience but not one I'd rush back for either. Parking is limited here so try to arrive with enough time to find parking around the perimeter. This cafe is decorated cute, there's plenty of seating inside, and service is ok. I expected more friendly servers, but they all seemed timid. I think because it was so busy they weren't as attentive, and they also didn't really give us creamers for our coffees. Heard great things about this place so decided to come with some of my friends. They have lots of mimosa options which is nice but the food was nothing special. The wait time was ridiculous and unfortunately they do not take reservations. We were told it would be a 20-30 min wait and we ended up waiting 75 min. So if you're planning on going on a weekend plan ahead with time. Our waiter however was very helpful and kind. If it wasn't for the long wait time I would give them 4 stars. One late Saturday morning, my husband and I travelled for brunch prior to a reservation in the area. Off the beaten path we went, only to discover it is in the same area of the It's It Outlet. Very quaint neighborhood area, a few shops surrounding, extremely limited parking. We entered, the hostess was very friendly, seating is limited and restaurant is small. Luckily there was seating at the bar and we were able to order our meal there. The young lady who assisted us at the bar was friendly as well, all smiles, very genuine with great conversation. She was attentive and took our orders promptly. We order two meals and a Bellini - White peach Bellini (7.99): I received a white peach mimosa instead of the Bellini requested. Champagne flavored with pumps of Monin white peach syrup - quite enjoyable. Mexican Waffle (18.29): comes with eggs and choice of meat. Since I do not eat meat, I subbed avocado and a fruit plate. The waffle was delectable and required zero syrup. The drizzled cajeta and lechera set the flavor profile over the top. I would definitely order again. The waffle was fluffy with crispy edges and held up perfectly to the added drizzle. Chicken & Waffle (21.39): came with bacon and your choice of original or sweet & spicy glaze on the chicken. The chicken provided was strips, cooked too hard and severely dry - according to my husband. The waffle he said was basic and did not offer much to the dish. The sweet & spicy glaze he said was incredibly sweet and provided no hint of spice. He was extremely disappointed in his meal and said he would never order it again.
