    Rice cake

Very friendly staff! Walked in for lunch with my family after my husband found this place on google. They gave us a nice run down on their menu (very limited menu-which is usually a good thing). They do this thing and they do it very well. My mom and I got the mild peri peri chicken and my husband got the spicy. The grilled chicken thigh was beautifully charred and crisp on the outside and juicy and moist on the inside. Covered with a super savory very fresh pepper/peri peri sauce. Idk how but it was all the delicious flavor you get with spicy pepper but none of the heat. Rice was fluffy and the side of pickled cucumber and red onion was perfect. My husbands chicken was also delicious- the perfect amount of spice. If you are spice sensitive definitely go with mild but I also love hot and this was delicious but not playing around. I also ordered the rice cake and it was really yummy. Dense and slightly sweet with crunchy top with some cheese. It went great with the chicken. Place was very quiet and plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend for a quick and tasty lunch!

I kinda fell like, for a +$20 breakfast, it should have been epic. And it just wasn't. Most of mine was cold - and that's pretty bad when yuh have something called a 'skillet' (which wasn't in one, by the way...) My daughter's Benedict was... Spongy and weird and so were the hashbrowns and the hollandaise was just kind of off, and runny. What was epic?? The FRUIT. Large portion, berries and mango and none of the filler melons that most places use. It was the good stuff! I guess next time we really should try the waffles, because apparently that's what it's known for and I don't know why we didn't go with that but we just weren't feeling something sweet today. Hopefully, next time will be epic all around! (as far as ambience, it's a cute little place, the music was decent, and the tables were well appointed. Neither of us use the bathroom, and that's usually one way to tell how clean the place/kitchen is. We will definitely check it out next time)

Dashed few salt and pepper and a little bit of the hot sauce to give it a kick but the whole food was really unsatisfying.. The pancakes though was tough too and we even used knife to slice a portion but still tough.. The bottom was slightly burned , I thought it was just the knife wasnt so sharp enough but impossible to take a minute before you can thoroughly cut a piece.. It was a 3 stacked pancakes we share and my one piece was tough and so was the other 2 .. But the Philly Cheesesteak was a bomb!! Never forget that! If I wasn't thay full, despite my dissatisfaction, I would have ordered another one for myself a Philly Cheesesteak. But sharing is caring, I had a small piece and it was awesome.. Wish I ordered that instead of the hash. Over all, service was excellent, our server was great, ambience was good and so was the music..

She was cut mid-way during our meal and came over to let us know and introduce who was taking over. The other young lady that took over was also stellar! They were both attentive. The food came out hot and fresh and all at once. The people running the food were also very polite. The restaurant was clean and there was no wait. I also appreciated how they had photos of some items on the menu. We had someone with us who has communication issues and them being able to point to a photo of what they wanted was really special instead of trying to guess what they might like.

Seeing that it was raining and I didn't want to order for my usual spots I decided to give this place a try. I got the Mushroom, Bacon and Brie omelet which sounded stellar! I did not seat inside but it was door dashed to me. The way they packed it was very nice and it came in nice containers, it also looked great. I also like that it gave me an option to have it with either toast or muffin which I found unique. Unfortunately, though the presentation was nice, the omelet was extremely bland. The egg was also overcooked and rubbery, the potatoes were also tasteless. The muffin however was very good, carrot and raisin, delicious. My boyfriend got the chipotle breakfast burrito (which I forgot to take a picture of), he said it was okay, I tasted it and also thought it was fine. Overall, not my cup of tea, but I do see some potential here. I think with minor tweaks this could be a great spot but I may give it awhile before returning (hopefully not another 10 years).

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.

Coming up to the restaurant there's a couple tables on the side of the restaurant and more on the patio space. My partner ordered the sausage and gravy and my friend ordered the hamburger while I order their sandwich. The food comes out pretty small size but if you're not hungry, it'll satisfy you. We will probably be back into that area because there's a few other restaurants and a winery that she can do tasting at across the street. If we decide to go back to this place, we will only be doing that because they are pet friendly.
