Stopped in today after learning they had Italian Beef. Ordered a beef, cheese dog and cheese fries. Ooooh man, it was the most authentic and delicious beef sandwich I have had outside of Chicago. The owners were amazing nice and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Always good friendly service at this restaurant. Family business. I have moved out of the neighborhood but the rib tips were calling my name. They were delicious and that Chicago mild sauce took me back to my childhood bbq days. I have never had a complaint about anything I have eaten here.

I've only ordered from here a couple of times in the past few years, once recently, but this is probably one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I love Italian beefs, and Baby Al's does a great job. So far, I've tried their Chicago dog, Maxwell Street Polish, cheese fries, the Italian beef with cheese (dipped) w/ hot and sweet peppers, and of course, mild sauce on the side for my fries or whatever else (which not every Chicago eatery outside Chicago has). I have not tried Fingerz or Rickettes yet, but for the main sandwich staples, I prefer Baby Al's over Skip's so far. The portions are great, and everything I've ordered has been fresh and flavorful every time. I definitely recommend this place for an Italian beef or Chicago dog. Looking forward to ordering again.

I found out about this restaurant from a young lady that I met earlier in the day. She told me that if I wanted Chicago style food that was good to check out baby Al's. They have everything you maybe missing from Chicago, Maxwell street polish, hot dogs, cheese burgers, pizza puffs, mild sauce and of course Italian beef sandwiches just to name a few of the items. First I would like to say that they have very good customer service. I was greeted when I walked in by the young lady at the front counter. It did not take them long at all to complete my order. Each order is made fresh. I tried the Italian beef. It was good. I was told owner makes it himself and does not buy the beef from like a whole restaurant supplier. The restaurant has plenty of parking. I definitely plan on returning to try more food items.

I went to this place for the first time on 11/20/24 and got 4 Italian beef's, 1 Maxwell polish and a pizza puff. My family is from Chicago and they wanted a beef sandwich. The Maxwell polish was better than the beef sandwich. While I was there I noticed they had daily specials. One of them being $2 tacos on Thursday. So the very next day I made a delivery right across the street. I was like perfect I'll go try these $2 tacos. I go in there and said give me 5 tacos. The lady said it only comes with meat and lettuce, would you like to add cheese and tomato's and I said sure. She gave me my total and I was a little sticker shocked when she said $17.39. I'm like how did I go from $10 to $17.39. I didn't say anything and just went ahead and purchased my lunch. Once I got to the car I noticed they charged me $3.75 for cheese and $2.50 for my tomato's. I opened my first taco and was like where's the cheese. There was like 5 shreds of cheese on there and even less on the other tacos. If I pay for cheese I expect to see cheese, especially for $3.75 for 5 mini tacos. This to me is what I call bad business. I would have came to this place time and time again, but one bad experience killed any future visits my family and myself would have done with this place. Fool me once it's on you fool me twice and it's on me. You won't get that chance to fool me again. Enjoy the $3.75 in profit because it's the last dime I'll spend with you.

    Italian Beef Combination Sandwich

This place is great. I've had a couple italian beef sandwiches at other restaurants in GA, but none of them compare to this one. Since moving to Lilburn this has become a regular spot and I am happy to give my money to these nice folks who make a DAMN good italian beef sandwich. I want to try other items on the menu, but the italian beef combo is just too good I can't help but get it each time.

Will not return. The Italian beef had no flavor , the chicago dog was slightly cold inside with soggy tomatoes

We made our way to downtown Tucker and were pleasantly surprised by all of the stuff around. Parking can be a hassle but once you find it you're surround by a lot to do. We did have to walk Just a tiny bit to the spot. Once we entered we were a bit overwhelmed by the decor but the vibes were extremely chill. A cashier greeted us when we came in and walked us through how the process worked. My boyfriend got a whole beef cheesesteak sandwich and I got an Italian turkey hoagie. We got seated and waited for our food to come out and it didn't take long at all for it to arrive. It was wrapped up perfectly in the paper and the fries were fresh. All of the employees were very sweet. Everything tasted really delicious and overall I was surprised by how good it was. We definitely enjoyed everything about the place and service was pretty good.

Which..I anticipate, but when everything falls out and the bread doesn't keep it all in and it crumbles as you eat it. It's not good. For $31+tip on counter service...I can't recommend this place among the countless places I've ate before in Atlanta, this ranks the lowest for cheesesteaks. Which sucks because I just moved to the area and was hoping this place would be great. Instead, it's overpriced counter service Atlanta hype bullcrap. I also had hair in my sandwich, but I overlook this stuff because it happens. Not a big deal to me but I'm going to mention it. Atmosphere is plain; you have a bar top and some tables with self-serve drink machine.
