She offers for first timer lash lift clients to email her photos to see if you are a good candidate. She wrote me back within 5 minutes letting me know my lashes were a great candidate for a lift. We arrived early, waited and only one of our therapists were in the vicinity, the other was still on lunch. He finally strolls in, LATE. The rooms aren't very nice at all, looks like you're in someone's basement. They offered aroma therapy, they spray a tissue with essential oils and place the tissue under your nose. Not very "spa" like, where is the diffuser? Again, felt like a Craigslist ad massage vs an established business. One of the therapists coughed the entire time. We wanted to get up and leave. The other made a very unprofessional comment about my boyfriend's shoulder injury. We left feeling tense vs relaxed. Not so great experience, not so great ambiance, not so great massage. Once inside, she took my temp, and was masked. All customers must also be masked. The business is located in Sakura Massage Salon, and Nikki had her own room. Since my appointment was for full lash extensions, I was anticipating it would take the usual 2 hours, but it ended up only taking 1 more. Don't get me wrong, Nikki was quick, but she did not cut corners; she knew what she was doing. Because I wanted natural w/ volume lashes, I think we decided to go with the mink lashes (length: 11-12). So happy with how they turned out! Before I left, I was able to make an appointment for a 3-week fill. Nikki is super nice, and definitely happy I tried her!

They were even and nicely distributed, shorter than what I usually get but the quality was good. For $65 they were a great price. My natural set was light and not at all too heavy for my lashes. Nikki was patient and very fun to talk to. But I had some issues with the final product. I came in as a new customer and requested the discounted price for the 6D Volume Mink Lashes, which at the time was $65. After talking to Nikki and explaining that I wanted something natural, I received what seemed to be the mink single lashes. To me, 6D has no other definition then a single lash with split ends (multiple lashes at the end). This was not what I got... When I asked her about it, she explained that that type of lash was old school and no one used those anymore. I've seen other lash artists and they still use 6D. I received single lashes but were being passed off as 6D. She did say she stacks multiple singles to create volume versus the split ends, but I think it's misleading. If that's the case, I think it should be advertised as Volume Lashes with a range of dimensions listed (3-6 or whatever is available) not just 6D because the amount of how many multiple false lashes on one single natural lash depends on the individual. Clearly mine were SINGLE lashes. Anyway I updated this review because after some thinking and reviewing my original rating, I thought that her explanation was not at all sufficient.

So results were asymmetrical. 2 mo post treatment I contacted the DA number via text to update my injector, maybe I needed more units to that one side or maybe placement was off and they said they'd let her know to get back to me to discuss. I followed back after 2-3 weeks since I never heard back from Rachel so I texted them again and received similar response. 2 mo after first reaching out, I have not heard from Rachel. As a health care provider it is difficult getting time off for an appointment to follow up with the same injector so I might have to go back to the Elk Grove office now (although it seemed that the dysport was too diluted there initially)
