She took the time to understand my skincare routine, concerns, and goals, then recommended adjustments where needed. I eventually purchased a package of three microneedling sessions with PRP. I was nervous because I have a low pain tolerance and, ironically, I'm not great with needles, but Alexa made the entire experience so comfortable. During every session, she was reassuring, calm, and gentle. She made sure I had calming gas to help me relax and continuously checked in to see if I was comfortable or needed a break. Alexa also explained everything she was doing, from adjusting the needle depth to targeting specific areas with PRP based on my skin concerns. Dr. Angell doesn't care about making money off of you. She cares about your aesthetic goals, and the best way for you to achieve them, even if it would mean a loss for her. I went in initially for a lip flip and forehead Botox, and she essentially said she could do it, but I'd get the best results from a lip lift, which is surgical and permanent. Every other clinic I went to told me that I'd need 4-8 units for the flip and 1.5-2 vials of filler to get the results I wanted, which is just an obvious cash grab. Dr. Angell and her staff actually listened to me, understood what I wanted, and didn't try to oversell me on anything. That was enough to cement that this is the place for me. There are so many other reasons to love this place. The decor is tasteful, it's always clean, the staff is SO nice, and my results are always perfect. I've had issues with Botox migrating in the past, and that has NEVER happened here. I've also never even bruised, even when I decided to dabble in lip filler. It also doesn't feel like you're in a sterile doctor's office (even though you technically are in a doctor's office), and I feel like I'm just talking to my friends. The last thing I'll touch on is my incredibly horrible needle fear. I know it's strange to get injectables when you have a full-blown panic attack getting your flu shot, but I'll tell you, these people take CARE of you. My first appointment, I was literally sweating, crying, and on the edge of passing out, but they literally held my hand throughout and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I know it seems silly, but I've never felt more supported in a medical setting. The laughing gas doesn't hurt either, but I'm so comfortable there now, I don't even need it and don't cry! So, it's a little bit of exposure therapy tossed in as a freebie! I know this is long, but I could seriously go on forever about how amazing this place is. If you try it out, you will end up with amazing NATURAL results. I'll close it off with a story. I seriously won a bet at a dinner party when a gal who was talking about celebrities with cosmetic enhancements said, "Everyone who gets stuff done is so obvious. I can tell immediately." I mentioned that work is only obvious when it's bad, but good work is something you'd never notice. I bet her that she couldn't tell who had gotten anything done at the table. She guessed the people with obvious work, but I wasn't on her list. She said, "You just look young because you have great skin." I literally had to show her my receipts to prove it. Part of me thinks she still doesn't believe it, but that's the kind of practitioner you want in your life.

To evaluate my facial skin condition, Imagepro analyzed my facial skin condition and was advised about the treatment for a maximum benefit. Dr. Sandhu explained to me the procedures beforehand that were used for my facial, Pristine - Diamond-Peel Microdermabrasion & a 4D Facelift. Now for some reason there is an unknown $82 dollar bill that keeps being sent to me in error. Again, this office is extremely disorganized as I have had problems with their staff since the first visit. Dr. Heshemi, if you are reading this please get this office organized and I am sorry to say that SARAH does not follow-up on billing issues and likes to hang-up the phone on paying clients. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience. Hopefully Jennifer at the front desk will resolve this erroneous billing issue. My mistake. No harm, no foul. It was an interesting procedure that used a fancy machine. There was an exfoliation, a mask, and a moisturizing phase. Not an unpleasant procedure, but all the various compounds they applied were quite chilly, as though they had come right out of a refrigerator. It will wake you up, that's for sure! The estheticians were quite pleasant, but not very knowledgeable. When I asked what they were applying to my skin, I never got a complete answer. They answered with phrases like: "It has collagen in it." but never made it clear what the compound was. Now I understand some people may be into this, but I thought the moisturizer was gross! My face and shoulders were covered with a thick, greasy coating that felt like I would need to scrape it off with a butter knife. At the end, they took me in to see "The Closer." This is a person whose job is to get you to sign up for one of their subscription packages. (Apparently, some people do this once a month.) He became quite indignant over the size of the tip I left. Apparently, this was normally a really expensive procedure.

I presented for my initial intake, after verifying that my insurance was accepted via phone months in advance upon scheduling the appointment, adding my insurance information into the intake form, and verifying my insurance the day before my appointment, via online check in. When I presented for my appointment, I brought my very same insurance card and was immediately told that they were unable to verify if my insurance was active with the system that they use. The receptionist was incredibly unprofessional, told me that I could lose my appointment due to issues verifying my insurance on their end, dismissed me to sit and wait, then proceeded to loudly announce my insurance and personal information to a silent waiting room while she was on the phone with the insurance. She was unsuccessful at reaching them, proceeded to be unprofessional and told me that it was my responsibility to call my insurance because she was unable to verify if it was active. All while she was loudly whispering about the situation to her coworker, as I sat 5 ft away. That is frankly not my job, nor do I feel like I should be at risk for losing my appointment that I took sick leave for, came prepared for, and scheduled months in advance because they are unable to do their job or even call to verify the information a day in advance. This could have been very easily prevented. It is the patient's responsibility to present with an active insurance card and not expect to have to wait 30 to 40 minutes, that they may not have to spare, with the risk of their appointment being cancelled or their care being delayed. I then waited while a supervisor was able to verify that my insurance was in fact active. Apparently that is not something that could have been done months to weeks to even days before my appointment. The person checking me out blamed my insurance and took no accountability, when I asked what I could have done differently to prevent this from happening. I was told "It's just your insurance." I received no apology for the unprofessional treatment or the 30-40 minute wait. After having to wait that long, just to be seen by a dermatologist, I was met with very rushed care. I felt like I had to very quickly run through each of my concerns, for an appointment that lasted maybe 15-20 minutes. I did not feel like the dermatologist read anything about the history I provided. I also had to ask her about one of my main reasons for making an appointment in the first place, as she rushed to conclude the appointment, as if I had not presented the same reasons for making the appointment to the medical assistant that checked me in. This was an incredibly unprofessional experience and I have very little faith in the validity of the information I was given or the care that I paid for, because of how rushed it was. Not a great feeling to have, as a patient seeking routine care.

After yelping and googling, I finally found Nouvelle aesthetics, a perfect place with excellent service and definitely great results. Honey, my nurse, is cognizant of the cleanliness/asepsis in her practice which I appreciate. I'm a retired nurse so I'm very particular with cleanliness. She's also easy to talk too and makes you feel at ease during the session. During my consultation, she answered all my questions and then some during my procedure. No pain, no gain they say...well, on the contrary, there is no pain. I had microneedling and the numbing cocktail they have is AMAZING! I was so scared of needles but to my surprise I did not feel anything. I highly recommend this place if you want a safe, clean and professional environment!

It was my first time getting microdermabrasion, but I have really rough skin and it was recommended for me. After my facial my skin was still really tender, but it felt like porcelain almost. My favorite part was the neck and hand massage. I always appreciate someone who goes above and beyond for their customers. I've already booked my next appointment, excited for round 2!
