I got married in November 2024 and Babydoll Weddings (specifically, Beka) did my hair and makeup as well as my maid of honors and the results were amazing! I also had her do a scar cover up and I was very happy with those results as well. I had a trial but really struggled with what I wanted to with my hair because it is extremely thick and long. On the morning of my wedding day, I made a very big change to my hair style that we did not discuss prior. Beka was confident that she would be able to pull it off. I could not believe how it came out - it was absolutely perfect in every way! And let me tell you, everyone and I mean EVERYONE, could not stop talking about how beautiful I looked but specifically, they could not believe how amazing my hair looked. I did my trial and loved everything about it, but my bangs. Granted I didn't realize I hated my bangs until I got home! My wedding was May 24th, 2024 (I been meaning to write this review forever!!) Babydoll weddings did everything to make me HAPPY on my wedding day, they went out of their way to make my vision come to life. My hair stylist was Angela and she was definitely the best person for me on my big day! Angela did mine, my step-mom's and my baby sister's hair! My sister is 2 and Angela was amazingly patient and worked super well with her I seriously loved seeing my sister get her hair done because she hates doing it lol but I 100% recommend babydoll weddings! Here are some pictures from the most perfect day!! (Another thing I was amazed by was my bangs! I was shocked they stayed put all night!!) - Also I'm not sure to write this on this section for wedding or just the salon but I had problems before my wedding day with my hair, this other hair salon messed up and left me orange blocks on my hair and I came in to baby doll's salon and they did everything to help me out and they ended up fixing it! - The team arrived 25 minutes late and I had no phone number or any way to get a hold of anyone. - They only had bridesmaid hair and makeup and did not have me down for my wedding makeup as the bride, even though I'd already paid the full bridal price. - Only two team members were sent for the three of us and we only had 3 hours allocated, which was not enough time at all. - They started on both the bridesmaid first and the maid of honor's makeup took almost 1.5 hours. Her makeup was also extremely thick and theatrical and she had to go fix it herself afterwards because of the timeline. - They started on my hair while they finished the second bridesmaid makeup and hers also took over an hour. - At this point they were scrambling to get my hair and makeup done and my photographer was in there and we weren't able to capture quality photos because they were doing my hair and makeup at the same time in a rush. - My hair was not styled how I asked at all and was falling out everywhere and not curled properly, so she had to take it all down and start over. - The hair was rushed and sticky jewels were thrown in the back to try and make it look better. - My makeup was extremely cakey and was not blended well at all. I also asked for nude lips at least five times and she applied a dark maroon, that I had to rush and go scrub off because we were 15 minutes over when we needed to be out of the room and taking photos. - Overall I hated my hair and make up for the event, especially when I got photos back and had issues with my fake eyelashes falling off within 1 hour of receiving them. Given the cost and overall experience, I'm really sorry I just simply cannot recommend brides use your services. All three of us were really unhappy with the entire experience and had to fix things on our own and them showing up late caused us to be late for photos by 20 minutes. read more

They brought 3 stylists to my parents home (where we were getting ready) and had us all ready to go about 20 minutes ahead of schedule! Everyone was incredibly kind and they did AMAZING work. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Babydoll weddings. I had 3 bridesmaids, a mother of the bride, and myself (the bride) get full hair and makeup done. We had such a wonderful and relaxing experience! Babydoll Weddings opened their salon for me and my bridal party to get done at which was a blessing since I couldn't go to my venue too early. They even offered us their fridge and microwave if we wanted to have drinks or food while we were getting ready. We had two wonderful ladies get all of us ready for the big day. I did not come in with much direction of what I wanted done, but with the help of these two professionals, my whole bridal party came out looking like goddesses. These girls do AMAZING work. They even gave us custom makeup that matched all our own skin tones. This is not cheap from the drugstore makeup. Most of it is custom made in front of you to match with your skin tone. We were even given touch up lipstick in case we needed to reapply later in the evening. The money is well spent! My mother came in scared of what they might do to her. She never wears ANY makeup, has graying hair, and has horrible self-esteem issues. Babydoll had my mother crying (carefully with all the makeup on!) because she looked so beautiful and regal, which is a HUGE compliment to the work these girls do. Whether you have a specific vision/picture, or you are coming in with no idea what you want, these girls can definitely leave you looking GORGEOUS. read more

Babydoll Weddings recently provided hair and makeup for my bridal party at the beginning of April. They were definitely one of the most organized vendors we worked with the whole process. They were very clear and provided very detailed timelines and expectations which was highly appreciated (pretty much the only vendor who did this for us!) I had 8 bridesmaids and they were great about getting everyone done in a timely manner. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because of a single makeup artist. Almost all of the girls who had their makeup done by this individual had to have theirs fixed. She used a lime green eye shadow and when I asked her to use nude colors instead she just applied the new colors over the old. I'm not sure what was most alarming.... the lime green or the fact she just tried to cake on more over top of it which wasn't working. She said she did not have any real training in makeup and it definitely showed. As for all of the other artists... they were phenomenal. I don't think think the actions of one individual should reflect on the company as a whole so overall I would recommend them for your wedding! read more

Avoid if you are asian, i had a trial with Micky that did not go well at all. Didn't know how to do makeup for asian eyes. I went home and fiance said he liked me better without makeup :( They offered to refund my deposit and do another free makeup trial with someone else, but i didnt' want to risk it. DO NOT BOOK HERE! BAD SERVICES AND HORRIBLE STAFF. OVERPRICED GARBAGE.THEY RUINED MY WEDDING DAY. Worst experience ever. Not only did the staff treat me and my MOH like garbage, but they did NOT do my hair the right way and it looked AWFUL. Then, when re-attempting to do it over and over, having to try and help the stylist... we ran out of time. An hour and a half away from my walk down the aisle, I was completely unsatisfied with my hair with no time left to re-do it myself. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude when I went to the front to pay. I was quoted by the stylist that the total price with a 20% discount would be $130.00. They stated that the total with discount was $165.00. With tip, that would have amounted to $200.00 that I was NOT prepared to spend. The entire reason I went with this person/salon was the price!! I refused to pay beyond what was quoted to me and the stylist as least tried to back me up and they made her pay the difference!! UNBELIEVABLE. I immediately pulled the owner, Sabrina, aside..shaking and upset... about the walk down the aisle with hair that was hideous.. and she made NO attempt to console me. Nor did she ever wind up refunding me the money that I most certainly deserve. All she did that day was blame the stylist for going "out of policy". I had no explanation of this upon entering the salon and as far as I was concerned, up until the point that I tried to pay, nothing was OUT OF POLICY. That is the staff's fault, and I should NOT have had to take the fall for that. The inability to console me, or even TRY to make things right with me on my one and only wedding day has made this one of the WORST customer service experiences of my life. I will never get to re-do this day and am VERY unhappy of how I have been treated by Sabrina and the staff at this salon. Customer service is more than "company policies" it is making SURE that the customer leaves satisfied and happy (esp. on their wedding day!), returns for more services, and spreads the good word about the business. They have failed on all 3 accounts!! I will make every possible attempt to spread a negative word about this salon because they do not deserve good business when they don't care about their customers.
