My Daughter and I came here for the first time yesterday. The Salon is beautiful and it felt more like a Spa when we walked in. It's very calming and relaxing so you'll feel refreshed once you leave. Our nail techs were Carolina and Sabina, they were incredible. They were so sweet and provided amazing service. I truly appreciate them keeping us entertained and talking with us the entire time which is very rare in my past experiences with other places. Once my daughter and I left, we gushed about how much we loved you both and will request you both going forward if possible:) I would highly recommend this place. Call ahead because they do book up quick but it's worth the wait as they provide an experience like no other. We will definitely only come here going forward and recommend you to all our family and friends. I booked an appointment via text message after Carolina, the manager, confirmed there was availability at 10:30 AM. When I arrived at 10:20 AM, the technician was still working on another client and never finished. I ended up waiting for an hour and left at 11:30 AM without receiving any service at all. One of the employees, Ilanys, kindly tried to help, but she couldn't perform the service and had another appointment coming up. I appreciate her effort, but the whole situation was poorly handled. Carolina, who scheduled the appointment, was not present at the salon and didn't communicate with her team. There was no follow-up, no update, and no accountability for the delay. Honestly, do not book through text message--She does not manage appointments well, and it leads to confusion and wasted time. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Client time should be respected. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves how they manage scheduling and customer service. read more

I scheduled an appointment by reaching out on their website. I planned my classic mani/pedi to weeks out. They list all of their prices on the website. This is probably the nicest nail salon in the south sound region. It's decorated in beautiful calming colors, with lux fabrics on the the chairs and sofa at the manicure stations. The pedicure chairs were also higher end with bowls that appear opulent. There were thorough to clean between customers and used new pedicures kits for customers. My pedicure was done first and then the manicure and it took about two hours total. My friend received a dip powder manicure. I especially love that they have customers wash their hands upon entry. I've been to a salon in Tumwater that does dip powder but didn't require hand washing at the start which gave me the heebie jeebies. You do not have that issue with the cleanliness practices of this shop. The woman who provided my services was very friendly and easy to chat with and she did excellent work. read more

This was my favorite nail place. The nail techs were awesome and knew everyone by their first name. It was always a pleasure going in and the work from nails to waxing was impeccable. Everything was clean and I never had to worry. I also loved all the employees and it truly felt like I was visiting with friends when I went in. I just read that three of the nail techs quit. I was aware that new management was taking their vacation days away and that the overall morale was low once new management took over. Also, new management took away the loyalty program. For my daughter's 4th bday, I really wanted to take her for our first mommy and me mani. For this, I was hoping to take her a nice, fancy place that offered kids' manicure services. Although, Babygees was quite a drive from us...I was sooo happy we did! Not only that the place was clean but the decor is just so lovely and so perfect for a day of pampering! As the other reviews say, the inside of this place is gorgeous. The work is well done, I really liked my nail tech Sopheap. Previous to my experience today I had been to the salon four times, each time happy with the work. One thing to note is that while I appreciate the steps they are taking with COVID, if you happen to arrive when the front desk isn't staffed you end up having to wait outside until either someone notices you or you get someone to pick up the phone. It's awkward and puts a weird start to your appt. The one time I managed to arrive when there was someone at the front desk this went a lot smoother. So onto why the one star and why I am not coming back. Today I had an appt scheduled for 0900, gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. I scheduled this appt a month ago. Had to do the awkward waiting outside thing, along with other patrons who were also there for the first time slot of the day appt. Whatever. Once inside the building, I was quickly told that my nail tech was out because she was quarantining after returning from Mexico. I found that strange since Sopheap (the only nail tech I have ever worked with at this salon) was clearly visible. I was then told my appt had been scheduled with someone else and that to wait because the manager was walking in. The manager (Aly/Allie?) then tells me that I had a no-call/no-show on 10/08, like this is some gotcha for why my scheduled appointment isn't happening today. The problem with this is that I cancelled my 10/08 appointment the same day I made the appt for today, a month ago. It was for an acrylic fill and I decided to go back to natural nails. When Aly realized this wasn't quite the gotcha she thought it was, she then moved on to "we tried to call you, but couldn't get through." On read back my number was wrong in the system. I get it, things happen, but this salon has called me successfully before. When I pointed that out, I got a lot of shrugs. When I asked why my appointment was scheduled with someone else, there were also a lot of shrugs and "oh, we didn't know you only wanted Sopheap" despite her being the only person who has done my nails and me making sure my appointment was with her back in September. ((This is me speculating but I think they gave my appointment to someone else and were scrambling when I arrived)) Aly did offer me a gift card and when I declined, then offered to fill my stamp card which would mean 30$ off for my next service. At a pricey salon, it felt pretty weak. Also I had already made up my mind to not come back. I don't get that much time off, I was really looking forward to my nail services today. Again Sopheap does a really good job, the deluxe pedicure is "chefs kiss." It felt like I was blown off by this salon. I will spend my money and time elsewhere. So the TLDR; Nail salon is nice but expensive, front desk customer service isn't great for services that routinely cost 80-100$ together plus tip. Salon tried to say they attempted contacting me ahead of time and were unable, despite being successful in the past, which I find weird. read more

As others have highlighted, this place is best-in-class clean and is very nice-looking on the inside, which is hard to find and my top criteria in looking for a nail spot. Very clean, organized, modern. Tools are well sterilized. Technicians very capable, speak good English and do not speak to each other in Vietnamese and incessantly like in many other nail salons. They are having appointment issues as they do not have a full time front desk personnel right now but at least they are working on it. read more

Love this place! So nice to make an appointment and when you show up they take you right back! You don't spend another 30 minutes waiting because they squeezed in another person ahead of you (like most salons that try to pump as many people through a day as they can). The salon is beautiful, so clean and the women actually want to have warm inviting conversations with you instead of speak to their coworkers in another language leaving you feeling weird. I loved it here! Very classy and very clean and hygienic. I had Andrea work on me and I loved her! Will most definitely be back! I was there about 3 hours and had a full set acrylic gel manicure and the deluxe pedicure with matching polish but I skipped the shellac for my toes. My bill came out to about $100 but it was so worth the money! I felt so pampered and relaxed and calm. And I loved how the nail ladies did NOT rush through their work, and they made sure that each lady walked out feeling like a goddess. I definitely did not feel like they were just trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible like some salons do. I had my first appt and it would have been a 5 star. In fact, I booked 2 more after, 2 weeks apart. However, within a few days, I had a call saying the next appointment day wouldn't work then a call saying oops got it wrong. The next call, 2 says before a scheduled mani pedi, was saying actually there won't be time to do the 2 services you booked. It was very disappointing but the receptionist was extremely kind and worked to make it right. This is not how I want to spend a couple hundred dollars however so I will be searching for a new salon. read more

Beautiful salon and really clean but you may receive inconsistent quality of services between the techs there. I had my original appointment on 2/22 with a tech that did a "dry manicure" (aka didn't soak nails in any water or solution prior to cuticle care) and received an uneven paint job on the majority of my nails. When I emailed and asked about it, they offered me an appointment today to fix and I got a response saying that the techs may not soak nails for gel manicures if the nails are already bare "because the nails tend to stay too moist for the gel to adhere and/or stick to the nail". The response also said that they usually only soak nails for regular manicures which made no sense to me. I didn't really understand that logic because I've had a lot of gel manicures where they soaked my nails for cuticle care and the gel polish stuck on my nails just fine as long as it was prepped correctly before painting. I had a great follow-up manicure with Hoang/Hong. She was very thorough and detailed with her work. Ironically enough, Hoang soaked my nails in warm soapy water before my cuticle care and my gel polish has been just fine and is looking awesome - maybe they can just update their policy to make it a mandatory thing! If not, I highly recommend Hoang for manicures or pedicures - my friend got a pedicure by her on 2/22 and she was very happy also! read more

Unfortunately, I have to say goodbye to this place! Ever since new management/now co-owner took over things changed! Starting with their cancellation policy which before they were more than understanding when things came up like being sick, now they charge money to cancel. This an issue because I'm one that doesn't cancel appointments last minute but I do have a toddler who gets sick from daycare often and well sometimes life happens and I'm not able to go pamper myself so I have to cancel. With a cancellation policy like this it means that if my son woke up sick and I had to cancel the day of I would be charged which right there is not best practice to keep customers! I had been going since 2020 and it really was my favorite place, all the nail techs are amazing and very sweet to the point they became friends. My appointment was canceled and I didn't get a call when I commented on their Instagram post about their new co-owner asking about the cancellation and that I just got an email they asked me to DM which I did while I did that the comment was deleted which right away is poor customer service! Let others see how you handle a customer asking a question. Then I get a call apologizing but then they lie saying their nail techs are leaving and that they didn't give much notice, which is a lie because as stated above they became my friends in the last 2.5 yrs, so they told me they had put in their 2 weeks notice. This new management doesn't care about employees, pay and benefits were cut and that's why they are leaving after asking for a compromise that was not reached! Please go somewhere else where employees are valued and not just a person that makes them money! Also there no need to say that you are being transparent, your actions should show that and they clearly don't! read more

Not good at all me and my daughter went here for first time nails are not smooth they can not do anything other than plain colors and my daughters nails were not even painted on side of nail. Then they charged $140.00. Unbelievable! Will not go back nor do I recommend!!! read more
