I just expected it to be a massage, but at the end of it my hair looked fabulous that I left my hair out the next day and people were surprised to see what my hair looks like without my baseball cap. So this is an update to my original review. I hate to do this, but unfortunately, when I brought my mother here, the experience was not satisfactory. My family has their nails done often, so we are not new to the services or the processes. When my mother went to have her standard dip-on-top of real nails with gel polish for color, we had a few hiccups. First, the polish wasn't consistent; it had ripples, which we didn't notice till we were in the sunlight. Then five days later, her nail chipped, a fairly large chip. To add to the chip, on day 6, one of her nails split down the middle while changing a sheet. Nothing too crazy, so the nail should have never split; there is dip and gel on them, so they should have been fine. I'm not sure if the tech missed a step or was rushing through the service, but either way, it was a poor manicure. We went to the salon on day seven, just one week after having her nails originally done, and asked for a repair. The good news is that the assistant manager helped and redid the nails; she wasn't happy about it, but they did it. She was a little rough too, and the process of having them redone was not spa-like at all, but fingers crossed this paint job lasts longer than seven days. I personally had a similar situation with my acrylics separating from my natural nail, it was the one time that Henry wasn't available to do my nails, but a week and a half later I went back in and Henry redid the acrylic and paint job. Still had to pay though. If you go here, be watchful, be critical, and ensure they feel and look right before leaving. Most salons guarantee their work, so be sure to check that the service you get is up to standard. I am still sticking with my recommendation of Henry and Zen ( spelled with a Q), but I'm not sure about the other techs. read more

I got a gel-X set here before by Cammie and I loved it. She pays really good attention to detail. I got a pedicure here and it was a really rushed experience, although my nail tech (that day) was super nice and she was really sweet! I came in a few days later to get my toes redone, because I just wasn't happy with my results. My cuticles weren't cut, the paint was really lumpy and uneven, and it was poorly shaped. It just wasn't worth $38. They also did not tell me it was going to be $3 extra just to remove my gel polish, which I don't mind, but transparency is important. Long story short, I came in today and a few people came to look at my toes and while they did that, they proceeded to say "phải sửa cho con khùng", which means I have to fix it for this crazy person. They also mentioned, " sơn thường mà mat giong" which means "it's just regular polish for someone to be not right in the head". Another worker says, "oh there's one more lady sitting here what is she waiting for?" The lady that previously made rude comments about me said " bà cố nguội đó chỉ sửa lại thôi cho bà ngoại ở đó đi" meaning that grandma is here for a redo she can sit and wait. These were very rude words to use to describe someone, and I noticed that they do it to almost every other guests in the building as well. Very hostile environment. I would beware if you don't speak Vietnamese. I only got regular polish to get a break from always getting gel, which doesn't mean I should be treated any differently. Overall, very uncomfortable experience. If you make a mistake, you own up to it and try again. You don't shame others for calling it out. read more

Service was wonderful. Scheduled a headspa. Ha was wonderful. Not only did she do a great job with the head spa service, she spent some time working out the knots around my neck and shoulders. Kat finished my hair off by styling my hair. She gave me some tips on how to style it to compliment the shape of my face. To finish my spa day off for my birthday, I received a pedicure from Hanh. I am not the type of person to leave a bad review. I think that when people do that it is in bad taste and that everyone should experience a place themselves before considering a review as the rule. However, I have been to this place twice now. The first time I was told by the nail tech that I should try the GelX nails as I hadn't before. The nails looked great at the end, but in less than a week the nails all popped off (not doing anything crazy with my hands even) leaving just the bonding material on my nails or the material coming off entirely with the nail. As I do not live in town, it took me a couple weeks to come back, but I did try calling the salon as well as filled out a "contact me" form on their website with no contact made from their end. Finally I went back yesterday to have my nails fixed at a discounted rate and once again, I could tell I had frustrated my nail tech as I asked for a design and did not have a photo that matched exactly what I was asking for, but in the end most of the nails looked great (my thumb nail came out quite bumpy but I figured that happened during the curing process) but a mere few hours later, both thumb nails' polish had chipped off. Between both appointments I have paid $120 including $20 worth of tips and two trips to town for nails that were less than functional. I called this morning to try to get my money back and was told that I may come back in, that they hadn't dealt with anyone else complaining and that they will not refund as it is not part of their policy to do so and was hung up on from there. I have been getting my nails done for years never having had issues such as this and although I hate leaving a less than glowing review anywhere, I would not recommend this salon for either acrylic or GelX nail services. read more

seriously everything a tired stressed out mama needs! i booked the royal head spa treatment. i didn't catch the name of the nice lady that helped me but every staff member there was so kind. it was worth every penny-- it included basically a facial with various face masks, facial massage, neck/shoulders/back/arms/hands massage, scalp massage, a really nice wash, steam, so many different cooling products that honestly cleared up my stuffiness, a blow dry after and i got a mimosa. it was so relaxing, i almost fell asleep. i always see videos of people going to head spas and i have always wanted to go to one-- and im so glad i finally was able to. i really don't even have words for how nice the experience was. i feel like all the stress in my body is gone and i feel rejuvenated for the first time since having my baby. will be back for sure! read more

I got the paraffin pedicure, and was literally in the chair maybe 25 mins. There was no massage, no cuticle trimming, and my polish is bumpy and uneven. So disappointing since the salon is super new and pretty, but I can't justify the service I got for $55. read more

I went for my first time today and because of the upper end pricing, I expected an entirely different experience. The man (very nice) was filling the basin and asked how the water was, I to,d him it needed to be hotter and he barely turned it up so my feet were in lukewarm water. The girl that did my pedi used actual cold water to rinse my legs off. I told her but she clearly wasn't listening to me. She was always looking into the lobby. The place seemed unorganized and chaotic. Everyone running around seeming to constantly be forgetting something and going back to get a towel or whatever. They set a little rolling table right behind the moveable arm of my chair so after I awkwardly got my own shoes from the other side of the chair, I lifted the arm up that was on the left of me and it hit that table and a vase went flying on the ground, broke to pieces. Just wasn't a great experience. Also, she didn't scrub my feet or even clean up my cuticles on my toes and the polish doesn't even go all the way to my cuticle. read more
