We dined in the covered, dog-friendly patio. The interior of the restaurant felt quite muggy, but opening the windows helped bring in fresh air. The service was disappointingly slow. Because we were seated outside, it often took a long time for our server to check on us, even for simple requests like refilling our water glasses. The Bacco Board included a selection of cured meats which was excellent, and the char-grilled Italian bread had a good smoky flavor that paired nicely with the accompaniments. I did think the portion of grilled vegetables was very small. I also requested to substitute the sharp provolone with pepato cheese, but instead the kitchen replaced the creamy Gorgonzola with Pepato cheese, which was not the substitution I had asked for. The Arancini was also good. They were crispy on the outside. The mild Gorgonzola sauce was very mild - tasted like hot cream. I found the marinara to be the better, adding an acidity to the richness of the rice balls. Unfortunately, the Fettuccine Zafferano did not meet expectations, particularly for a $39 entree. The shrimp were overcooked and the scallops were undercooked. The dish contained very little lump crab meat, and the saffron cream sauce lacked flavor. I barely tasted any saffron flavor. Although the presentation was beautiful, the execution and seasoning fell short. Overall, the appetizers, covered patio, and ambiance made it enjoyable, but the slow service and disappointing seafood pasta left the meal feeling underwhelming. read more

Super convenient location with plenty of parking. Went on a Friday evening and it was about an hour wait. They did have a new bar area outside that was open and we sat there. They offer happy hour all day there to welcome summer and to get people use to the bar! Couldn't beat the deals - half price apps and lots of drink specials. Ordered a margarita that was okay. Very tequila forward. Also got the lemon cello martini that was good. Finished with Italian old fashioned and it was tasty too. Got the burrata app and the mussels app. Both absolutely delicious! Bread service was not good - very dry bread. Not like a nice crusty Italian bread. Skip the bread. Beyond the good food, the service here is spectacular! The food was way above par, especially the shrimp gondola appetizer. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and delicious! The sauce is the star of this item. It was perhaps the best accompanying sauce I've ever had. Tangy, creamy and garlic forward. My wife ordered the crab ravioli and it was also delicious. The crab was sweet and tender and the ravioli perfectly cooked. I had the veal Parmesan and it was very good. The red sauce was a bit sweet, but it didn't detract from the overall dish. Of note is that the angel hair pasta was not overcooked or mushy. The temperature when served was excellent and held the heat through the end of the dish. The establishment is elegant and comfortable and our wait staff were kind, courteous and efficient. You really need to give it a try. I left a bad review a few months ago but that meal was offered for hearing a seminar. The meal was terrible but I didn't want to base a restaurant's reputation on that type of meal so my wife and I decided to go back for lunch today. First off, our waitress was tremendous. She really knew how to service her customers. Bacco is also very nice inside to enjoy your lunch or dinner. That aside, the food was somewhat disappointing. The lunch started with a bread course with a dipping oil that could have use some herbs and grated cheese or something to liven it up. My wife odered a lunch portion of Shrimp Scampi with angel hair pasta. It came with 4 very large shrimp and a nice serving of pasta. The only problem was the meal needed much more sauce because it ate very dry. The grilled lemon that came with her meal was a needed addition after we squeezed it on the dish. We asked our very attentive waitress for more Scampi sauce and that really made the meal a big hit. Wish it came out of the kitchen that way. I ordered a dinner portion of Eggplant Parmesan with linguini. It was a good size portion but thats where it went downhill. The linguini was cooked perfectly al dente. The trouble was it was over sauced. The exact opposite of my wife's meal. The real disappointment was the eggplant. It was a big square of mush. The taste was OK but it was so overcooked that the eggplant's consistency was mush. Not a pleasant mouth feel. I will probably try Bacco one more time and see if I have a better experience. Twas a bit of a field trip to get to Bacco, BUT... happy hour here was well worth a drive on a nice seventy degree day. The bartenders and waitstaff were friendly and helpful to our group of girls that were there for a birthday and the location was very cutesy for social media content... I should've snapped pics to attest to this, but I was wrapped up indulging in calamari, grilled octopus, and eggplant small plates, all of which were delicious. They also do a divine fettuccine zafferano in a saffron cream sauce almost as good as Baltimore's limoncello restaurant's entree I adore. Decided to take my family here for a pre Thanksgiving dinner. I've dined here on prior occasions and had no complaints. It's also a go to for when I'm in town. We decided to order the Caesar Salad, Eggplant Torta, Norwegian Salmon, Ribeye, and Orecchiette Pasta. I asked our server James M. if we could split the Salmon into 2 portions for both my parents and he said "No not really." Not sure why we couldn't split the salmon this time if I've ordered it exactly like this during my previous experiences here. Server and runners here felt rushed as well. As for the food, it was good portions for the price. The ribeye was on the drier side and the orecchiette pasta was a bit overcooked. TBH, you get what you pay for here. I think it's a good place to eat out with family if you're in the area looking for a casual dining experience. A meal to remember. We had a club banquet with about 19 people and we were all so impressed with the food and service. Our large group had two wonder servers that took care of us like we were the only one there. Each and every meal was incredible and something I didn't expect would even be possible, they served us all at the same time. Even the atmosphere was fun and comfortable. I picked this restaurant because we have always had great meals here, such as date night and client outings etc. I highly recommend this place to anyone I'm speaking with when the subject of restaurants come up. Our server was great (I can't remember her name but we talked about allergies for a long time lol, I feel she'd remember...), very knowledgeable and clearly had tried a lot on the menu. I like most food so with a big menu, I definitely needed some recommendations!! I ordered the paccheri granchio, I liked it a lot but didn't love it. The pasta itself was great, obviously fresh and cooked perfectly. I didn't love because the crab on top was cold. I think that could've been warmed a bit, but other than that, this is a unique pasta style, definitely recommend it. Came here the other day for date night and it was such a nice experience. The ambiance was so nice, dim room, music. It was not busy which was also quite nice. They do have a big parking lot right by Wegmans. I ordered a Limoncello Champagne and it was so tasty. I believe they make their own limoncello. The staff was attentive. I have been to Bacco several times and it's been very consistent. The place has a great energy and a nice/cute set up. They have a large wine menu as well as many food options. I've gone here with my boyfriend twice now and we personally love it! We felt that it was upscale, but also relaxed at the same time. I specifically noticed the decoration on the bar side of the restaurant being lovely. It was very comfortable and our servers on both occasions were genuinely kind and helpful. The food is amazing here! Everything has been excellent, from the appetizers to dessert. They serve fresh bread to start, and on Valentine's Day the side of butter had a little pink heart in it. Bacco is one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Last night my husband had Pollo Limone & it was delicious. I had Filet Mignon Tips with Risotto & I did not like it at all. Right from the start the presentation was not appealing. It was all mixed together in a bowl. The filet pieces had a lot of chewy fat & the meat was not tender. To me the "gravy" on the risotto did not taste good at all. It didn't even smell appealing. I had my husband taste it & he agreed. For me, it was very disappointing for Bacco.
