Wandered in Saturday night, wanting to try a new place for dinner, we were greeted by Jarod the manager, who was very welcoming! Started our meal with soup and Caesar salad,both were excellent! I get that even good restaurants have rough nights every once and a while, HOWEVER, this place lost 9 potentially great LOCAL customers forever last night simple because they had crappy leadership. It was Mother's Day and we had a reservation at 6:30. Service started off a bit slow, but our server was very busy and we could totally understand. Once we ordered though we didn't see our food until we had sat there for over 2 hours! Once we finally received SOME of our food items (because everyone got the "pleasure" of eating separately as that is how they delivered our meals, my grandma pulls a 8 inch long hair that was tightly wrapped around a pepper out of her antipasto. She couldn't even eat after that. And the two that ordered pizzas were the very last to receive their food, had to get it to-go because everyone else was already done. We asked to see a manager several times and the managers AVOIDED us for as long as possible. Once we finally got to see one (2.5 hrs into the whole disaster) he has NOTHING to say. Just a smug look on his face like he was doing US a favor by just standing there. Finally by 9pm, our kids are crying and exhausted, the manager does the bare minimum to our check (buying the hairy salad, buying a pizza that we cancelled because it took SO long, and buying a glass of wine that my mother ordered but never even received ‍) and gives us a few of their $20 vouchers to use on our NEXT visit- which will never happen. If he had been mature and professional, he could have appeased the situation because we aren't monsters. We had NORMAL Expectations for a night out to dinner. Instead- because of his pride and lack of knowledge on how to manage a dining room at all, he let 3 Mothers, 1 birthday guest and 5 others that were there to celebrate leave not only hungry, but upset and confused. Thanks a lot. Baciami Owners- I'd seriously consider some management staff changes. That location is difficult enough to keep busy and looking at many of your reviews (many of the ones that "aren't currently recommended") you are making some pretty crucial mistakes. It won't be long before you're forced out. You have a great concept- but you can do way better. read more

as we walked up I thought the outside looked pretty had a nice feeling. We walked in & a waiter said Ill get the manager...so the manager welcomed us & seated us. I mentioned that the music was waaaay too loud for us as we wanted an intimate dinner atmosphere where we could talk. They turned the music down to accommodate us. We ordered a ceasar salad & a pizza. The pizza came right away as we were still eating our salad and it would be cold by the time we started on the pizza...The manager Jared came over & apologized and then brought us a hot pizza after we finished our salads! It was Delicious! Overall we liked it and felt they're just ironing out a few kinks as any new restaurant has. Baciami is a terrific place to go for Happy Hour and also for Dinner. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Service is always terrific. Both Elvis at the bar, and Chris at the tables were super nice and took good care of my friends and I on recent visits. The food and drinks are so good! Love the wine and pizza especially. All of this is no surprise with Jared as the GM. He always checks in to make sure everyone is happy and feeling welcome. On my last visit, I was with several people from out of town. Jared came to chat with us and made our group feel so special. He even took a couple of the guys over to see how they made lemoncello. I went for happy hour. We had the meatball sliders, mushrooms and sausage. They were all excellent except the broccoli rabe. It tasted like chemicals. The drinks were delicious as was the dessert! Contacted the restaurant to see if they had nutritional information on their meals. I was asked if I wanted to make a reservation for a large party. I explained I wanted the information on nutrition, I am on the Keto Diet. I was informed "NO." They were family owned and didn't do things like that. I emailed thank you - we will probably go somewhere else. There were about 6 of us. 4 of my group cancelled. So, I went anyway, with a friend. When my friend ordered she asked the bartender (we sat at the bar) if we had a dish can they omit some items. This girl comes over and asks, "are you the lady who emailed me?" I said yes. She said, "oh, thought you were going somewhere else." I said we were but our other friends couldn't make it so we thought we would give it a try. She said, "Yeah. We can't accommodate everyone who's on a diet. I haven't even heard of that diet. I think you'll have to make do with certain items or eat home." We were shocked. It was bad enough she sent an email with attitude then we had to hear very negative comments on our diet. We ordered an appetizer without the bread on the bottom. The food came with the bread. It was just a very bad customer service experience. We've told our friends not to go to a restaurant that only accommodates younger customers who don't care how they are serviced. We had a 630 reservation for 6, arrived on-time. We were seated right away. Than it went down hill from there. First waiter came by about 10 minutes after we sat down. We all asked for water at that time. Glasses were filled shortly after that and he left. We were celebrating our two daughters birthdays. We waited and waited, no return. I noticed he was attending to customers two tables down, attempted to get his attention with no response. Time was passing and than 730 rolled around with no one asking if we wanted appertizers or even bread. I finally got up and went to the front and spoke to the manager on duty. I indicated about or poor service. Within several minutes a new waiter came by and took our orders and brought some bread. When the dishes came all of them looked and tasted old. My wife ordered the Seafood Fra Diav--it looked and tasted burned. The sauce was of poor Italian quality and tasted like it was burnt. No one enjoyed the meals and the celerbration was ruined. I asked for the bill and he returned with it, gave him--Steven the waiter, my credit card. He returned with the bill and showed a 20% tip already applied. And TO TOP IT OFF HE LEANED OVER AND ASKED FOR A LARGER TIP after the kind of service that we had received , I couldn't believe what I just heard. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. What a shame. I have been waiting to try this place since It opened a year ago. What a disappointment. My 3 girlfriends and I made a reservation almost 2 weeks in advance for the $59 stone crab special. They then called us at aproximatatley 3:30 on the day of to confirm which we did. We showed up at 6:30 for our reservation and they sat us immediately. The place was very nice but not busy. The waiter took our order (all 4 of us order the stone crab special). He brought our drinks and salad several minutes later, then our salads. We finished our salads and drinks. The General Manager, Jonathan then comes to our table (approx 30 min after we ordered) and says that we could not have the stone crab special because we did not specify that is what we wanted when we made the reservation. In an effort to maintain somewhat of an enjoyable evening we ordered alternativ entrees. BIG mistake. The food was terrible! Then when expressing our disappointment to the waiter he proceeded to tell us that they just ran out of stone crab and that it had never happened before. If that's the care why didn't they just say so. The aGeneral Manager lied to our faces and in a very confrontational manner told us that we were in the wrong for not specifying that we wanted stone crab when making our reservation. If that was true why would they not have told us when we ordered instead of 35 minutes later. Then when we asked for Jonathan's last name no one would give it to us. He is coward and a liar and has no business running a resteraunt. read more

My wife and I drove by at 3 pm and stopped by being we never have been here and live in the area. To our disappointment they were closed but I proceeded to call and ask when they open for service while we decided where else to go. The phone was answered by the manager Jared and it was probably one of the best customer experiences I have ever had when calling a restaurant. We genuinely had a conversation and laughed for a good 5 minutes and when I hung the phone up I said we are waiting the hour and going here. When we entered he knew our names and treated us like family. The only thing more impressive and refreshing was the food!! Everything we had was fresh and had a real deal Italian feel just like in NY. They knocked it out of the park with this one and we look forward to making this a weekly stop. read more

When I got there at the time they said to pick up my pizza wasn't made yet. When it was ready to take out of the oven it fell apart in the oven while the cook attempted to take it out. They had to remake my order and when I finally got the second pie it was soggy and they forgot to put the topping I asked for. They don't respect the craft of pizza making and it shows in their product and customer service. read more

After hearing a great review from a customer, My husband and I went to an early dinner today at Baciami. The food was AMAZING!! We started with a delicious Caesar Salad, focaccia and Italian bread with special blended oils. I had the Shrimp Cannelloni which was delicious and had so many great flavors. My husband had the Grilled Jumbo scallops with creamy asparagus risotto, his new favorite dish. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The decor beautiful. We plan on being regulars. Great trilogy of tragedy. This place is a one and done for me. I had to give them a star, Yelp wouldn't let me give them Zero stars. We visited Baciami tonight for dinner a party of 4 and small child. We didn't have reservations and they sat us immediately. We were like great we got seated immediately, they made accommodations for our daughter, and the ambiance was nice. We all ordered our meals and the waitress told my wife that she could build your own pasta dish. My wife proceeds to order angel hair pasta, with Shrimp and Diablo sauce. She didn't want to order the menu item which was Seafood Diablo because all she wanted was shrimp. My daughters dish came out first like we requested and it was amazing. About 15-20 mins later all of our dishes arrive, my wife's dish was completely wrong, no shrimp at all. The waitress and what I can assume was the manager took the dish and returned with the same dish/plate with shrimp on top. First off you didn't bring a whole new dish out and at this point my wife was extremely hungry so she didn't complain and began eating her dish. When she finished eating, we asked the waitress at the end why the sauce on her dish didn't taste like the other dish ordered, Seafood Diablo. She proceed to tell us a story which we found out was a lie when we looked at the bill. She rang in wrong item, pomodoro sauce instead of Diablo, and couldn't own up to it. We also found out that the build your own dish my wife created was more expensive than the dish on the menu. Really if you are going to charge me a ridiculous price please get my order right. Secondly, I order the Chicken Parmigiana, man was I disappointed. The chicken was excellent but when I tried the pasta with the Marinara it tasted like Hunts tomato paste. It was so thick, when I describe it as paste I'm not exaggerating. Seriously Ragu or Prego would of tasted better. Lastly, the waitress stated that she was going to send the manager over to speak with us. Do you think that happened? Nope. She spoke with him and they both ignored us. She picked up our payment, processed it and ran off. If you say something please follow through. We didn't want anything for free but just wanted to be heard. I guess now your hearing from us on Yelp. Maybe next time you'll follow through and own your mistake. read more

I received a call to confirm and was very excited to confirm and plan a few surprises instead the rude gentleman cut me off and insisted I provide a credit card for all parties or we would be charged $25 per person if not cancelled within 24 hours which was not disclosed on their website when I would not provide due to security concerns he hung up on me and cancelled our reservation? Glad we did go and want to ensure others are aware .... meanwhile we called a restaurant around the corner where we are regulars and they gladly took our reservation! Waiter Joe was excellent. The restaurant did not state on Open Table that the Stone Crab night reservation must be ordered for in advance. My family came from New York and was told to come for the unlimited stone crab night that Baciami offered. We made a reservation through Open Table and it does not stare anywhere that you need to "reserve" stone crabs in advance. When we sat and ordered our appetizers and expensive bottle of wine we were then told they could not accommodate us for stone crabs because we did not reserve them in advance. Again, this was not stated on Open Table from the restaurant. The manager came to the table and told us "it is stated all over". We went on to the actual restaurant website and it is not stated. It only says in one section under "weekly happenings" that you are to make advanced reservations on Thursday's. Nothing stated to ask for stone crabs. We continued our dinner and the manager did not come back over to check if food was well or even accommodate our party of 4 with just 2-4 stone crabs that we would have paid for. It seemed the restaurant did not care that we traveled from New York to Florida to try their restaurant. Each table around us all ordered the stone crab and the manager continued to go to their tables to see if they were enjoying their food. We will not be dining with them again. read more

Went back for Thanksgiving. Thought they would get their act together. Not so. Pasta still inedible. I like el dente but this was "ce mente". Chicken dishes we just discarded. Their chicken parmigiano was not a cutlet but a breast which was rubbery. Their $40 turkey special had a terrible. presentation. The turkey was is small pieces. They either they overcooked it or they have to sharpen their knife. The 3 vegetable medley, gravey and mash potatoes were mediocre at best and the stuffing was subpar. I ate only the turkey which tasted ok. The bread & undercooked pizza appetizer were good but the meatballs were not. The sauce on the pizza was I think San Marizano & great but the sauce on the entrees was inexplicably bad. So one less star than 11 mos ago and I won't be back although I don't think they will last much longer with bad food at superior prices. They did however have the music at a more reasonable volume and it's a beautiful place. read more

Dined at Baciami on 11/23/20 for the first time. Had drinks in their lounge prior to our dinner and our server was Joey. Had a reservation for 6 people and were seated at 7pm. There were 3 tables of 2, 1 table of 3 and our table of 6 for the evening. Joey was also our server in the dining room. There was also one other sever working the other tables. Everything seemed to take forever to get to the table. Whether it was drinks or asking for bread it would take at least 15 minutes. On more than one occasion I would have to get up from the table to get a dish or Ecco that was on the cart.I personally liked Joey, but he seemed to be overwhelmed at times even though the restaurant wasn't busy. When the dinner order was placed, Joey came back 20 minutes later and said that there was only enough scallops for one dinner. So one person in our party ordered something different. When the food finally arrived I had the scallop dish. You were supposed to get 4 jumbo scallops. I got 2 and the third one was sliced in half. Also the risotto was not creamy at all just white rice with a little sauce mixed in. When I told the waiter he said he felt embarrassed to serve the dinner and offered to select another dinner. We were close to 2 hours already and I didn't want to wait any longer. Joey brought over a couple of shrimp to add to the dinner. Also one person in the party had the prime steak. While the steak was good the creamed spinach that was order was anything but creamed. It was soupy. Our party had drinks, appetizers, dinners, after dinner drinks and coffee. When our check came there was a $15 service fee added to our bill which was $473. And not counting the money spent on the drinks in the lounge. When we asked Joey what was this for he said he would have to get the manager to explain. When the manager came over he said it was a COVID charge, instead of raising the prices on the menu. Nothing stated on the menu or no one mentioned that there would be a charge. When I asked the manager to waive the charge based on our night, he said no. The whole night was a disappointing experience. The food was lackluster. The manager didn't do the right thing and lost 6 customers who paid good money for a terrible night. We didn't take our disappointment out on Joey who was tipped appropriately. He tried his best and shouldn't suffer because of the kitchen and management. i'm somewhere between 3 & 4,,, arrived about 7 on sat nite - no reservations - IF we had them, probably a table in the noisier 'be seen' section,,, as it turned out, we were seated at banquette in rear (dim lighting & fairly quiet enabling conversation) - that part's nice ! IF the food were truly italian, i'd be a fan,,, w/many restaurants, bar scene's primary, decor's 2nd, & latest pop version of italian cuisine comes in 3rd,,, look at it this way - how difficult is it to make an antipasto ? waiter had great 'table presence' &, thankfully, carried reading glasses but no flashlight,,, also mishandled dau's drink order, forgot to take wife's drink order, & delivered bread only after our 2nd rqst. bride's chicken parmesan was satisfactory, dau's pasta pesto w/chicken lacked chicken when delivered, & my ribeye top shelf cut wasn't (should've used flashlight to look at how much gristle but bride would've been embarrassed) accompanying 2xbaked potato & roasted brussels were TERRIFIC ! dessert menu's not inspired & shows not much effort so probably not big sales item anyway this place lets you know the REAL $$$'s at the bar & food's 2nd ps - someone PLEASE tell millennials slim suit, dark tie, dark shirt, & ability to operate i-pad for avail table search doesn't make 1 a restaurateur,,, REAL restaurateur's already know that stuff - they make welcoming eye contact instead,,, parting out-the-door 'thank-you's' are disingenuous to me,,, why bother ? its just rote ! more sad is the ignorance of 'dining',,, lastly, too far to drive from boca/delray for a meal but dau #3's choice read more

This past Sunday, the family visited this wonderful establishment for an informal meal. We were early and fortunate that we were able to enjoy their Happy Hour specials. We all had a drink or glass of wine and ordered several of their appetizers. We sat comfortably on their couch and chairs enjoying every dish ordered. Stuffed mushrooms, shrimps, pizza, eggplant parm, calamari, etc. I think we may have tried every one of the appetizers on the menu. We will definitely go back! So I place my order around 7:30pm on a Sunday night, 8:30 no food yet patiently waiting, 9:30 call delivery dudes driver supposedly left restaurant but with only salad, and then the food was lost and they were insisting they couldn't fire more because their kitchen was closed. Delivery dudes says order any where else on us. Then all the sudden this dump finds the food! By now it's 10 o'clock! Lol now I ordered a family meal which included 2 salads, 2 entrees, and 2 types of pasta for market price? One of the entrees was chicken parm l! What's market price on that? The other entree was veal market prices I guess? So now 10:30 food arrives lol? After a $20 credit from delivery dudes total came to $121 bucks! Lol which I not in my right state of mind due to starvation at this point paid. Get inside open food chicken parm at market price is in there but low and behold the market price veal is missing! Lol I wish I was making this up sadly I'm not! So I try one of the salad they sent and it average at best. However let's go to the brick they claim to be chicken parm on bite and straight in the trash! I wouldn't have served it to a dog! It's chicken parm the one thing that every shitty Italian place from here to Miami can't screw up! Well this place managed to do it! Baciami is very pretty...the food was interesting and our server was sweet and trying her best. The restaurant has great possibilities when it finishes with it's growing pains. We were a table of six. After waiting too long for our entrees, they were delivered at different times so some were eating and some were waiting for food. Referred to by a friend. Made a reservation but somehow it got mixed up. We waited for 3 10 minute your table will be ready time promises. The ambience was nice and the staff was friendly. It was Friday night about 6:45 or so. The place was busy but not packed and there were tables available but it took some time to finally get seated. I think they were short of wait staff. Our waiter was friendly but not too helpful, timely or attentive. We started with the antipasto for 4 and it was good not great. I had the Dover Sole, two had veal dishes and one pizza. The veal was melt in your moth and very tasty, the egg plant pizza was lacking the egg plant and the Dover Sole was ok but not great . I was assured it was fresh but not 100 % sure. Overall it was ok but not great. I could see it could be great but not last night. Prices were reasonable. I would give another try but not rushing back. read more

On May 2nd the three of us arrived at 6PM for Dinner, we were greeted by Jared Rodriguez, showed us to our table, presented our Menus, he told our server would be right with us, Christina introduced herself, a very pleasant. We were given a basket wonderful Bread. My wife and our Friend Bree selected a wine after getting a taste, I had Vodka & Tonic. After reading the Menu several time try to choose the one of five or six we all picked. My Wife and Bree choose Roasted Fig & Prosciutto Salad ( they both said the Salad was delicious) I choose the Italian Chicken Escarole (it was one of the Best Soups I have ever had, Delicious!!!) For our entry's my Wife ordered the Tenderloin Pasta( Which she said was excellent and Delicious!). Bree ordered The Veal Sinatra (Bree said it was Delicious). I ordered Anthony's Sunday Gravy ( It was as delicious Sunday dinner I have had prepared by Wonderful Italian ladies at their Homes). Overall our experience was Excellent!!! The decor is Beautiful!
