    Came here for dinner. Service very good and sat in the patio which was nice ambiance. Ordered bread, burrata to start. For dinner shared a pizza, chicken parmigiana and pasta bolognese. Food came quickly. Pizza was just ok. Not like the pizzas you see on the Barstool guy videos. Chicken parmigiana was also ok. Thick chicken breast served with pasta. Sauce was good. Pasta bolognese was good with flat noodles. Prices within Delray restaurants.

    There are so many Italian spots in Delray Beach, but Rose's Daughter is easily one of my favorites. I stopped in on a Saturday night and grabbed a seat at the bar--perfect choice for a great vibe and seriously delicious food. I ordered the chicken piccata (one of my go-tos) along with the balsamic salad, and both were spot on. Nolan took amazing care of me all night, and the drinks were just as impressive. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun atmosphere and consistently great Italian food!

    Located in the Pineapple Grove District of Delray, Rose's Daughter has a rustic atmosphere and bright outdoor seating. After enjoying an event nearby, my family and I took a stroll here to split a Margherita pizza and some hot honey parmesan wings. Both were made in-house and hit the spot! Our waiter was friendly and attentive and it was a delicious downtown lunch experience. I recommend it!

    Yeah, yeah, yeah, Delray Beach has more Italian joints than New York license plates during "the season," and honestly, most of the ones on the Ave are worth skipping. But wander a little off Atlantic into Pineapple Grove and you'll find this little gem that's quickly become one of my favorites. A few things up front: 1. They don't take reservations, as others have noted. So... go early, or if you have to wait a bit, don't turn into a Karen. The food is worth the wait. 2. Indoor and outdoor seating. 3. The bar has a solid whiskey and gin lineup. Monkey 47 on the shelf is an automatic win in my book. 4. Speaking of the bar, one request, please: for the love of parmigiana, remove one barstool from the long side. The stools are so close together it feels like you're sharing a bench seat in a '57 Eldorado, trying not to elbow your neighbor into their marinara. Now let's talk about the food: there's really only one way to describe it, and that's "fantastic." The homemade pasta is to-die-for, portions are huge, and Rose's blows away those "legacy" Ave spots that still manage to pay the rent thanks to their name and the snowbirds who think a semi-mediocre $47 bowl of spaghetti and meatballs is five-star. If you want great Italian without the Ave circus, this is the place to go. My personal faves: the chicken and the massive bone-in veal chop parm, both paired with some of that delicious homemade pasta. You really can't go wrong!

    Don't be fooled by the small, unassuming exterior--once you step inside Rose's Daughter, it's bold, buzzing, and full of soul. It's like a cozy neighborhood restaurant that secretly trained in the big leagues. We kicked things off with the Burrata Salad, and wow... creamy, fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. That burrata didn't just sit on the plate--it performed. Next up, the Beef Carpaccio--thin, tender, beautifully dressed, and packed with flavor without being overpowering. Elegant, but still very much a "don't-touch-my-plate" situation. Then came the star of the night: the Short Rib Pappardelle. Deep, rich, slow-braised goodness wrapped in wide, silky pasta. Comfort food with a passport and a résumé. I would absolutely fight someone for the last bite. Respectfully. Service was on point--friendly, attentive, and never rushed. The drink selection was solid with great choices to pair with the menu, whether you're feeling wine, cocktails, or something in between. Bottom line: Small outside, bold inside--Rose's Daughter delivers big flavor, great service, and dishes that make you start planning your return visit before you've paid the bill.

    Came to Rose's Daughter on a Thursday evening. Didn't need a reservation which was nice, but it's not incredibly big inside, however they have a lot of outdoor seating. If you don't want to sit outside, it might be best to make a reservation. We were greeted quickly and warmly, but after our order was taken, the service we received significantly slowed down. Our server's name I think was Devin, but I can't blame him for forgetting about us, because it seemed like he was waiting a majority of the tables by himself. It does seem like the individuals sitting outside get more attention than those sitting inside. The table next to us sat down and wasn't even greeted for almost 15 minutes, someone from the table had to get up and go ask for a server, which was Devin. We ordered the arancini, white pizza and roasted mushroom pappardelle. The arancini came out and was delicious. It's a nice little starter that doesn't fill you up too much before your entrees. I did order a Diet Coke and never got one, so I had to ask a food runner to grab one for me. Because he didn't know which glass it went in, he went to the bar and got a cocktail glass, so I was finished with my drink in three sips and never got a refill until the end of my meal, because we weren't checked in on until the meal ended. Then our plates were cleared, but we were never given new ones, so by the time our entrees came out, we waited about 5 minutes and nobody came back to check on us so I had to get up and go to the bar to get plates myself. The white pizza had nice, typical, white pizza flavor, however, it did have a very wet, soggy bottom. If you tried to just pick it up normally, all the cheese would fall off, because it was just so floppy, and wet pizza isnt the best mouth feel. The roasted mushroom pappardelle was probably the best dish. The noodles tasted fresh, they had that little bit of chewiness to them, and they had a lot of mushrooms in the dish which really beefed it up. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was good, but I cannot say that it was worth over $60. The arancini alone was $14, the mushroom pasta was almost $30, the pizza was $16 (which is the only thing that seemed standard to me). The food didn't blow me away, and that, in combination with the lack of service, doesn't really give me much of a reason to come back.

    There is a significant number of Italian dining choices in the Delray Beach/Boca Raton area. So choosing one requires some investigation if you want to get one of the best. After reading reviews and visiting various websites, we chose Rose's Daughter in Delray Beach. We enjoyed the story behind the name and we felt confident given the owners background and experience. She owns three establishments in the area, with Rose's Daughter being one of them. Unlike many restaurants in the area, Rose's Daughter does not take reservations. They open at 4:00 pm most days and serve a popular brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We dined on a Friday night. We arrived at 4:20 and seating was still available, so much so that we chose to start with a cocktail at their bar. Good choice. The Negroni and White Negroni we tried were excellent. Nolan the mixologist was well equipped with a great selection of bitters, cordials, spirits, and garnishes necessary to mix a good cocktail. We were then seated outside on their street side patio. A nice environment, but simple and unfussy. It's a trattoria after all - relaxed and casual. Our server, Andrew, was prompt, knowledgeable, and well-trained. He guided us through both the wine and food menus effortlessly, helping us to make the best choices for our palette. We selected a 2019 Brunello di Montalcino from the Carpineto Winery. It was delicious and a perfect match for our entrees. We opened with a Gorgonzola Salad and followed with the Fra Diavolo and the Lamb Rigatoni (a recommendation from Nolan at the bar). Both were very well prepared, boasting great depth and taste from clearly quality ingredients. The fresh House Bread was excellent also, crunchy exterior with a great chewy, soft interior. We finished the night with a Cannoli and two scoops of gelato. Overall, it was a great experience and worthy of a five star rating. I highly recommend Rose's Daughter.

    I'm a big fan of Chef Suzanne Perrotto. I love her French Bistro Brûlé. Today I had my first visit to Rose's Daughter, her Italian trattoria. Imagine, she has two popular restaurants in the Pineapple Grove District a block away from each other! Not a bad track record! I had the Spicy Pineapple Grove pizza for lunch. With fontina cheese, pickled Serrano peppers, pepperoni and Calabrian peppers you get a wonderful combination of sweet & spicy. Delicious! The crust is very airy and quite different than other pizza doughs. I plan to return again and try the pastas. I'm so glad they are open for lunch. There is a Happy Hour from 4-6pm that offers 20% off your check. Try it. The wine list is very robust and she serves a number of local craft beers like Funky Buddha, Tripping Animals, etc. I'm delighted her restaurants are here. There is plenty of parking at the Arts Garage a block away and some street parking all over the Pineapple Grove District. Stop in.

    This review is another entry in my tour of the places in Florida Guy Fieri has eaten at with his show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. I have a Yelp collection if you want to follow along with my adventures. The show first aired in 2006 and it is on its 40th season of Guy's road trips across America where he highlights some of America's most underrated and delicious local eats. Guy Fieri visited Rose's Daughter and tried the Pappardelle during the episode Chicken and Ribs which aired during season 37, episode 1. Rose's Daughter is chef Suzanne Perrotto's who opened this restaurant in Pineapple Grove in 2019. Named in honor of her mother Linda Rose, it is a tribute to her parents' restaurant, Sonny's Trattoria in New York. Suzanne also runs The Pantry by Rose's Daughter next door. Rose's Daughter doesn't open until 4 and The Pantry fills in that morning and afternoon niche when you are craving their baked from scratch breakfast and lunch, 8 AM to 3 PM. She also owns Brulé Bistro less than a block away that serves globally inspired small plates. I met my friend at Rose's Daughter for dinner and since it was a nice evening we sat outside on the back patio but the inside is really inviting too. We started with the fruity sangria special which was the perfect thirst quencher. The menu features Italian dishes like handmade pasta and pizza along with dishes that were featured at Suzanne Perrotto's family Sunday gatherings. We shared the gnocchi ala vodka with a roasted tomato vodka sauce and the Hawaiian pizza. Dessert was a light and creamy tiramisu. I loved everything about Rose's Daughter from the cool mural covered walls, attentive service, and delicious food. It was nice to explore the culinary delights of Pineapple Grove which has its own unique vibe. What makes Rose's Daughter stand out from other area Italian restaurants is the personal, chef-driven vision rooted in family tradition, combined with high-quality, from-scratch dishes.

    I LOVED their gluten free pizza. The crust was incredible and everything tasted so fresh. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for a second dinner during our week, and were lucky enough to have the same wonderful server, who even remembered my allergy days later. I highly recommend giving them a try!

While they were trying to maneuver into the corner, I was repeatedly bumped and kicked in the back by the child. We are catching up, looking at the menus and within 10 minutes the owner is hovering over us asking for our orders. We ask for another few minutes -- we hadn't even gotten our drinks. He tells us we have 2 hours so we have to hurry. Look, I live down the block from Le Sorrelle. I pass it night after night, and yes, it's has its nights where it is party central. People love to host family events there. But most of the time, this place is sorely wanting for business. And while perhaps Le Sorrelle did fill up after we left, there was plenty of seating when we did slip out, well in advance of our 2-hour limit. As for the food -- I can only speak to what I ordered. A Caesar salad and Pizza Margherita. Both were awful. And I'm really not just saying that because of the restaurant experience that night. I previously had pizza at Le Sorrelle (albeit, years ago now) and it was quite good. Perhaps the cheese pizza would have been. As for a good Caesar salad, run, don't walk to Segreto Italia. Actually, just go to Segreto Italia, because Chris, Joey and Chip will treat you like gold and you'll have an overall outstanding experience.

Our server Craig went above and beyond. Their choice of tableware is fine dining worthy. Their menu is approachable and straightforward. They offer 1 special, which is the fish of the day. Everything else is on the menu. Our meal was sensational, beginning with an expertly made vodka martini. I could tell the olives in the cocktail were noticeably better in quality than what is often served. We started with a few orders of baked clams. They were small and whole. The sauce was plentiful, enough to sop up the garlic and lemon with their exceptional bread. Speaking of bread, I am usually a butter girl, however there was no need for beurre when they serve a top notch olive oil like they do. It was peppery and robust. I could tell that there were efforts made to pair the bread and olive oil just right. Details matter here. I could have made a meal of just this, but alas, we ordered a lasagna for the table to share with a salad. The chopped salad was ok but ordinary. We probably did not need it. The lasagna. The lasagna. The lasagna. Let's talk lasagna. It is made with a homemade sheet of pasta, a tad thicker than a dried variety. It is rolled with dots of beef that was big on flavor but did not overwhelm the pillows of soft ricotta and mozzarella cheese atop a slightly sweet, but super-bright and fresh tomato sauce. A few fried basil leaves (again, a detail) actually made a difference in elevating this dish. The basil leaves were not just a garnish. Every ingredient was thought out, restrained in a good way, harmonious and well balanced. We then had a chicken parmesan (we chose their vodka sauce which was subtle without the aggressive and excessive use of cream so often found in vodka sauce), a cacio e pepe spaghetti and lamb chops. The spaghetti was the star of the pasta dish. There are times where a sauce can overwhelm, but at Campi the Chef honored the pasta. Thank you. Our lamb chops were perfectly cooked medium-rare with just the right amount of char in its own jus, a dab of garlic and parsley. A double espresso was a smidge watery. Tiramisu was again, expertly made with hints of soaked lady finger enveloped with slightly sweetened mascarpone cheese whipped to perfection. Light as a feather; full on flavor.     Extremely disappointing experience on March 7 around 6:00 PM…read more Before this event we have called to ask about reserving a high-top table and were told that high-tops could not be reserved. When we arrived, several high-tops were open. We approached our favorite server to see if he could help us , but he was told not to serve us. Shortly after, a host informed us that the high-tops were "reservation only," which directly contradicted what we had been told on the phone. At that point there were also four open seats at the bar. I politely asked the "host" twice if he could help us take those seats, but he refused. During that time, other customers were allowed to take them. Eventually we were seated at a regular table. I then asked our server who the manager was so I could simply clarify the policy. She pointed out the same individual who had moved us from the high-top area. When I asked for his name (max), he came over moments later and told our group to leave the restaurant, referring to it as "his restaurant." There was no alcohol involved and no confrontation--just a simple request for clarification and the manager's name. Being asked to leave under those circumstances was both surprising and embarrassing. Unfortunately, the experience was further undermined when we noticed food residue on the wine glasses at our table, which raised additional concerns about basic service standards. We have been loyal customers and expected far better. A calm explanation of the seating policy could have resolved the situation easily. Instead, four customers were publicly removed from the restaurant for simply asking a question. I believe this situation could have been avoided with better training and an experience manager that matches this restaurants reputation price range. Very disappointing and an unfortunate reflection of the current management approach. I hope that Curt Huegel can do better!

    We came for happy hour, they had a food and drink menu both 50% off, we were debating on where to…read morego when the gentleman at the entrance told us he could seat us for happy hour with our young children at a low top table. We got a couple margaritas, a paloma, beer, and an old-fashioned. The old-fashioned was not great but the margaritas were excellent, especially the strawberry jalapeño! We ordered six drinks, two appetizers, one salad, and three entrées and our total was $120! We tried the meatballs (they were gigantic as the menu showcased), the Caprese salad, chicken Parmesan, gluten-free vodka pasta with chicken, and their chicken wings The service was great, she actually took the old-fashioned off our bill and let him swap it with a different drink because it tasted a little weird. We chose the outdoor patio which is nice, but it sits right next to the train tracks. The trains seemed to be passing every 10-15 minutes and they were extremely loud, making conversation nearly impossible until they passed. It wasn't the restaurants fault, but it did make it hard to have a nice meal and catch up with family. Regardless, it was still better than dining inside which was unbearably loud. The penne with a hearty bolognese sauce, and the bread with olive oil and balsamic was incredible. The skirt steak and Caesar salad also looked delicious. A couple of small things: there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and my uncles water glass had a small crack, but it was quickly replaced by our server. I would consider coming back after the season ends, when Atlantic Ave isn't such a mob scene.
