Busy at 11 on a Friday, but we got seated right away, and there was table service, which I didn't expect. I got a cappuccino, which was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit the Beverly Hills LPQ, but it's probably a good place to stop if you want coffee or a sandwich while walking around the neighborhood. It's just dry and slightly flaky dough. 2. Cardamon Bun (2/5) It had a beautiful design, but the taste and texture were not good. First off, the bread itself was dry and stale. Secondly, they used too much yeast in this pastry as you can taste and smell the sourness of the yeast. There are also parts of the dough where it was sticky/underbaked. The cardamon flavor was subtle. 3. Iced Latte (2/5) The most simple and plain latte one can imagine. The espresso was extremely weak. It almost feels like you're drinking cold milk that's dyed slightly brown. Luckily, it was a hot day, so I still downed this drink. My experience with Chaumont ends here ... nice knowing your existence, but I won't be coming back, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Don't waste your money here!!
