Right in the bustle hustle of rainbow district on Santa Monica blvd is this cute little coffee shop. First impression this place is an eye catching with this vibrant color, there's no way you can miss it. Upon entering, I was welcomed with an inviting smile, I was giving the choices of what drink I might like. Despite having other customers waiting at no point during my order did I feel rush. I even chatted with the personnel at the register about a job interview that I have today. She showed interest and seemed more excited for me than I am for myself. It was on a Thursday morning so the place was not packed nor loud in terms of noise. The young lady who brought my order to me all the way where I was standing was also very friendly with a nice smile. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the portion is huge. It's not your typical sized croissant. It can easily be shared between 2 people. Tips are not mandatory but would be nice to support those amazing workers who prepare our foods. Things to know: There are paid parking meters only and parking can be very scarce. I would advise taking a shared or autonomous ride. Or public transportation (Metro bus) or walk if you live in the area. I live not too far and on the weekend this area is super packed, if you are looking to mingle with random people come on the weekends and if you just want to enjoy your breakfast or lunch solo or with friends come on the weekdays. The only con for me is that there's only 1 restroom , if multiple people want to use restroom I can see a little bit of chaos and long line. That's just my personal thought. This was a nice drop-by spot in the heart of WeHo. Jamie W and I just had a hearty breakfast at Max & Helen's in Larchmont, so the vast selection of couture croissant offered here provided no more than eye candy to us. Choices like Nutella Strawberry and Vanilla Creme Brulee would've tempted us in a weaker moment. However, we're always thirsty, so we ordered a couple of $6.95 Large Iced Hazelnut Lattes to quench our thirst (Photo 6). We sipped them rather slowly as we watched the other type of eye candy stroll by in form-fitting apparel. Right next to Trunks, this cafe is quite the convenient stop for inappropriate gawking without the alcohol. My daughter was telling about a fairly new cafe spot in our area called Dolce and Drip. So naturally my curiosity got the best of me and I had to check it out. Upon entering the cafe, there is the pink and gray interior. There's even a place where you can take a selfie photo. I ordered my food to go. I got the Hot Honey salmon bagel with a side of fruit. The fruit was a combination of blueberries, pineapple, and watermelon. The fruit was nice a fresh. The bagel's sandwich combination was also in pretty good, and the hot honey gave a subtle but nice kick with each bite. The staff were very friendly, and explained the store's menu items very well. I feel like Drip and Dolce is someone's passion project and I'm absolutely here for it. It was pretty unbusy the Sunday we happened upon the cafe. The place is very girly pop with the prettiest/most decadent pastries ~ perfect for a lil date. And! The prices were insanely affordable for being located in this part of town. We ordered coffees and two breakfast sandwiches (priced under $10!). Each had eggs, cheese, and our choice of protein on a brioche bun. The bun was really buttery soft which offset the salty. Delish. Drip and Dolce also carries a wide range of hot sauces that were really fun to try with our sandwiches. I like an easy coffee spot with savory options, so Drip and Dolce really hit the spot. Most recently, we got two iced lattes (one banana bread and one biscoff). They were expectedly sweet, but the coffee flavor still came through beautifully. My partner and I came during the grand opening weekend and the food and the service actually exceeded my expectations! I love that they have veggie options- it's not really on the menu (maybe just didn't make it on there yet) but the cafe has veggie bacon and can also add a side of eggs with most things you order if you're living the hi protein fantasy. Drip and Dolce, the dynamic duo that perfectly described my kryptonite. Yep, it's a brand new one in WeHo and they're still on their soft opening period. The venue, mainly featured baby pink-themed furniture, obviously looked cute and gorgeous. Lighting was bit too dimmed for my preference, but prolly the ambiance some people fancied for just taking a moment to slow down and chill. They did provide outdoor seating if you're in the mood for people-watching amidst the busy WeHo. Paid street parking around was available, but at times might be kinda tricky to find. Despite the name, the cafe did offer some heavier meals options, all of which were made fresh to order. They did offer multiple pastries including various options of round-shaped croissants, the used-to-be-very-hype supreme croissants when a very popular bakery in NYC (at that time) first introduced it. As for their coffee, they offered 3 options of sizes with the largest being 20oz, and they carried abundant options of flavored syrups including those that were more atypical like banana bread and biscoff cookie. My pick was also not that common, Caramel Brulee Latte, which was basically topped with burnt/caramelized sugar on top. Despite sounded very sweet, it was actually not and by the time I ordered they did ask me my sweetness preference and I mentioned moderate. It was great that they offered customization, and even reminding you by the order time. I went for hot option and I felt the temperature was just precisely like how I loved it, not overly hot but not lukewarm as well. The coffee itself was decent, but my highlight was more the cute venue and the super warm service by all the friendly attendants. She even offered to take a pic of me when I was capturing the gorgeous interior LOL. read more

I am so thrilled to have discovered Drip & Dolce, what a delightful little breakfast spot in the neighborhood! As a croissant lover, they have so many different variations of this classic pastry on their menu. Their spiral croissants are decorated and themed, before being filled with unique flavors like this circus animal cookie one. The croissants can come stuffed with berries and cream or as a vessel for a breakfast sandwich, so you can't go wrong. You can even get fried chicken and croffles (croissant waffles) which is my favorite item on the menu! The chicken is seasoned perfectly and has the most incredible crunchy breading, the waffles are buttery and flaky, and the breakfast potatoes are to die for. They also serve lots of unique drinks like coffees, teas, and lemonades which are all quite good! The space inside is small but welcoming, and they have a nice patio area outside with seating as well. Parking can be challenging in this area of WeHo just because it's fairly busy, but it's worth it for this spot. Service is always great and the folks at the counter are very friendly, I love supporting a family run business and you can tell they're invested in this community + wanting to produce great quality items. read more

My friends and I stopped by the day after it opened. We had lunch and were impressed with the menu and the presentation. The food was quite good. It was a little on the higher side price wise for sandwich lunch food, but then it is West Hollywood so that's probably why. They do have a lot of interesting coffee drinks, but it is surprising that they don't serve regular coffee when drip is literally in their name. The workers are wonderful and the service is awesome. However, the product is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a large brown sugar latte with oat milk. Both me and my friend tried it and spat it out immediately-- the aftertaste was disgusting. Something about the espresso or coffee they use has an awful acidic taste. We claimed it was similar to instant coffee. I ordered a double bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It's...ok. Far too greasy and wayyyy too much egg. Egg is spilling out on all sides to the point that it overpowers the bacon. Then we ordered the raspberry matcha croissant-- way too sweet. We took one bite and threw it away. First time here, the owner was very welcoming, she explained each of the bakery items, I picked 3 savory croissants, 2 stuffed croissants and 2 dripped croissants. This place has phenomenal baked goods! Their croissants are some of the best I've ever had and I pretty much always order the croissant in every bakery. They have that perfect flakiness with soft inside. And they're huge. We were staying nearby and went every morning three days in a row and this was honestly a highlight of our entire time in LA. I had a vanilla latte with soy milk, and it was incredibly tasty. It's tough to make foam with soy milk, and they did such a good job at it. The quality of the coffee is over and above the quality of the chain coffee shops. The interior is clean and new. Service was immediate. This is my new go-to favorite coffee shop in West Hollywood. Today is St. Patrick's Day so I got an Irish Creme croissant to go.
