I actually like this location because it's not near the busy side and tourist part of Beverly Hills. My go-to drink is their cappuccino with oat. Solid every time. I love when they call your name and they pour the milk in front of you if you ask to drink in a mug. I really liked the staff, they are all very friendly and nice. Parking is metered right outside or if you don't mind walking 2 blocks, there is 2 hour free parking in the lot. You can now earn points by ordering through their app so it's nice and ready when you pick it up. Plenty of indoor seating on the main floor and upstairs 2nd floor if you want more privacy. read more

Small spot with big flavor. Menu felt limited for drinks but maybe simplicity is better. Upstairs area as well if you want to sip and work. Service was quick, although I wish I had known drinks are served at the opposite end of the booth, so pay attention as they don't call out your name. Clean location, with plenty of seating. I am a regular customer and always leave good tips. Today I was in a rush and didn't have cash or my card on me -- I mentioned this when ordering. What's important to note: the coffee was made by one person and was great as always. But the waffle was made by a different person -- the tall guy -- who also handled my payment and knew about the tip situation. The waffle I received was small, burnt, and made from completely different batter than usual. Nothing like the sweet waffles I normally enjoy here. It's hard not to connect the poor quality of the food directly to the tip situation, since the person who made my waffle was the same one who knew I wasn't tipping that day. I always tip and would have made up for it on my next visit. But after being treated this way, I no longer feel welcome here. Really disappointing for a place I genuinely loved. read more

This is my favorite Blue Bottle location. Food: Just got a pour over with a splash of oat milk. It was nice and smooth! I LOVE that oat milk is the default, especially when it's so expensive to be plant based in this economy $1.25 extra for almond milk. Service: Friendly, and relatively fast. It's pretty busy here; there always seemed to be a steady line here. Ambiance: What makes this Blue Bottle unique from others that I've been to is that there's actually seating here and plenty of it, including an upstairs loft area with some outlets. The restroom is clean and well maintained. The music is quite low key in the cafe, but humorously blasting in the restroom. One thing to note is that the WiFi is VERY SLOW here, so really not a good place for working or studying if you need internet. read more

I'm a regular but I don't think I'll be back for a long time after my recent visit. This location does not take public health or safety seriously. It's not the workers fault - they are great. It's the corporate management. The bathroom is rarely clean. Homeless people are allowed to hang out in the store without making a purchase. They frequently take baths in the bathroom sink - a massive public health issue. The location's interior is tired and not well kept. This place needs to hire a security guard and a cleaner. Very sad to see Blue Bottle fall into disrepair like this. read more

In the past this would've been a 5 star review but after today's visit is just a meh 3 star review. Space: This location has an awesome upper loft workspace but my review is more so focused on the coffee and food. Coffee: I used to do anything for a shakerato in the morning but they've seemed to change their recipe. The shakerato used to be so multidimensional, smooth, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I couldn't find anything like it which is why I would justify buying a $8-$10 cup of coffee (with tip). NOW it's just a nice brew with a boat load of sugar similar to what you could find at Starbucks. Food: I won't lie, I do love their toasts but in the name of health and trying to stay gf due to autoimmune reasons I decided to try their protein plate. Very meh. Not worth $9.50 at all. The presentation is so sad and the portion size is more so a snack than plate. Also... we don't even know if these ingredients are organic, non gmo etc although it's priced at that level. In conclusion I wish they'd bring back their OG Shakerato and come up with something gf that is more substantial for the price or actually use and advertise the use of quality ingredients... that would be justifiable read more

Came here on a warm day for some refreshment and a freshly brewed iced tea is about as good as you can get. It is a bit small, but the vibe of the interior is very bright and calm - really inviting to grab a seat in the second floor loft area and enjoy your drink or pastry. When in LA you must wear sunglasses, drive in a convertible under the palm trees, and drink coffee. Blue Bottle coffee is a big thing up in Frisco. (Oh how we hate when you say that.) But we do love our coffee. We have our Rituals and Reveilles. Our Starbucks and Pete's. And our Buena Vista and Trieste. Plus a bean-load of local shops with curated selections of house-roasted, buddha-belly-rubbed, magically brewed, cold pressed coffees. I'm really a chai girl and sensitive to caffeine, so when I do get the chance to drink a warm c-laced beverage I usually go in that direction. But when I was in LA, something pulled me to the 'Bottle... and I was hooked. I forget what "kind" of bean I selected but it was super smooth and I got my latte with a straw so I could slurp it down as soon as it cooled enough. Then, every day thereafter, I got my Blue Bottle groove on. You like that fancy word? Thereafter? That's what happens in LA. You get fancy. read more

Great service, they answered all our questions about their coffee, and they delivered our coffee to us even though we were sitting on the second level which I didn't expect. The ambiance is super nice, its very clean and modern, their sit-down glassware is very nice. They also don't charge more for oat milk which is super nice. We got the hot nola coffee which wasnt our favorite, but we just wanted to try something new. The important part is that their cappuccino was verrry delicious and they definitely have very high quality, well brewed espresso. It was very rich in flavor, overall super great. read more

One of my bosses is a real nice fella who just moved back to Los Angeles after having lived in Louisiana for several years. He'll have to check it out and tell me if he finds the coffee to be authentically New Orleans. A heartfelt shout out to Kimberly, who just calmed my gangled nerves and comforted me about my injured pug. Pricy - that's why the 4 stars instead of 5. Yes, it's Beverly Hills, I know...... This place makes the best coffee than any other places I have ever tried. The aftertaste is very smooth with perfect finish. Their tea drinks are great too but maybe a bit sweet for my taste but it is still far better than most shops. The pastry and dessert sections are a 2/5 tho, too much of artificial buttery taste and awfully sweetened, but since they are a coffee shop and they make great coffee drinks, I would still give them a 5 stars review for what they do best. Services are very friendly and attentive. We bought two jars of instant coffee to try at home, we have been enjoying it a lot. They are $20 a tiny bottle but that's totally worth it. read more

The first floor was crowded but they have many more seats upstairs so it was not hard to find a seat. We found the outlet upstairs so we could charge our phone - google maps takes a lot of battery! The espresso machine was somehow not working well so they had to make my espresso twice. One gentleman was asking the other and they were talking to each other and said it is weird and it never happened before. They gave me the second batch but I felt a bit weird wondering if there is still something wrong with it or not as they didn't confirm anything to me. They give you the sparkling water with the espresso and you could also get free water too if you wanted. read more

love the vibe at this location. This is very specific but my favorite thing about this Blue Bottle is their music is non-intrusive....I usually never even notice what they are playing (that's how you know it's good cafe music lol) and if I do it's quiet piano. As someone who likes to work from cafes, it is a dealbreaker for me if a spot is playing top 40 hits while customers are trying to sip a coffee and work for a bit. only bummer is that Wifi is slow and your hot spot doesn't work in here ever. so just make sure you are good to go without the internet here...maybe that's a plus. I love coming here! Parking sucks sometimes but if you can grab a spot it's worth popping in. The staff are so sweet and the coffee is always delicious. My new fav is a single espresso and it comes with a little cup of fizzy water! Nice touch and the century city store doesn't do that so I am especially partial to S Bev now.
