Today, I stopped by and got a scoop each of sweet cream and strawberry cheesecake in a cup. Both were incredibly delicious, but the strawberry cheesecake really stood out. It was silky smooth and creamy, had a satisfying crunch to it from bits and pieces of graham crackers, and had little chunks of dried strawberries in it that intensified the flavor. I was only here for a few minutes, but in that brief time, experienced top notch service. The employee who assisted me was very nice. He first asked me if I wanted to sample any of the gelato. He then asked if I had any food allergies. Even though I'm fortunate not to have food allergies, I thought it was very thoughtful of him to ask. I'm sure there are people out there with nut allergies that would appreciate this. This is my new favorite spot for gelato. I know I shouldn't, but I'll be back here tomorrow to get some more. I can't help myself.

This place is ok. If the line is super long, I probably wouldn't wait. I got the blueberry ricotta and the dark chocolate hazelnut. Both are tasty and not too sweet. Price is a little bit high for portions in my opinion. Service friendly. You can sample as many as you like.

Dessert in Torrance, California... Located at Del Amo Fashion Center, on the upper level, near Tim Ho Wan, is Bacio Di Latte We appreciated the free parking, air-conditioning, convenient restroom, escalator, and late closing time of 9:30pm. This was a takeout only establishment. We went downstairs to sit down together. Service was helpful and efficient. I got the strawberry gelato in a waffle cone. It was just right! Yum!

I was eagerly awaiting this new gelato spot inside the Del Amo mall. I waited a few weeks after their opening, hoping they'd work out any kinks. The service was fine, but the product was not great and I probably won't return. For starters, the gelato melts really fast despite being indoors in an air conditioned mall. While I was checking out and waiting on my partner to finish his selections, the worker told me I should get started eating it. I've never encountered gelato that is melting while you're checking out. And I've enjoyed it at many places including during summer temperatures above 100 degrees in Italy. There is no seating here or nearby, so you have to eat it close to the shop or otherwise if you wait too long, it will keep melting further. The cups also are pretty small, which is typical for premium dessert shops serving gelato, but it was much smaller than going to a Handel's, Wanderlust, or Jeni's for example. I recommend ordering the medium size (up to 3 flavors) at least and skip over the smallest size (piccolo up to 2 flavors). I truly recommend NOT getting a cone or choosing the hazelnut or pistachio "dip" for your cup or cone. It looks great in the sample display but it's more like a thick paste that is quickly slathered on kind of like sloppy peanut butter. No thank you. Also my spouse's waffle cone tasted stale and old and was not fresh and crispy. We ended up spending $24+ (and a 20+ minute wait) for 2 servings of gelato that were very forgettable. The positives are that that the workers were nice and let us sample a bunch of flavors, and that the long line does move quickly. Also, the pistachio crunch is simply delicious with great textures throughout. The other flavors we tried were just good (fragola/strawberry, coffee/caramel, strachiatella, peanut butter, Belgian chocolate). Overall, there is better gelato elsewhere.

I came a few months ago but remember it was quite pricey for such a small size. The icecream was delicious and rich but I would not say it's worth it for a very small cup (~$10) It's a nice place to just try though

Absolutely delicious and delicious takes me back to living in Italy! The flavors are unique and it is hard to choose. We got the Blueberry & Ricotta, and the Chocolate Pistachio Crunch on a cone. It was the perfect level of sweetness and the texture is great. Be prepared to wait in line, however it moves fairly quickly. They also have affogato which looked amazing, but did not have an opportunity to try yet. Looking forward to trying other items in their menu.

I've been waiting for Bacio di Latte to open, and I finally had the chance to try it recently with my bestie. Thankfully, the grand opening crowds had died down a bit, so the line was very manageable. The staff was incredibly friendly and generous, offering us a few samples before we made our decision. In the end, we chose a half-and-half cone with Pistachio and their new seasonal flavor, Torta Paradiso. Both flavors were smooth, creamy, and dare I say not too sweet?! The Torta Paradiso is a blend of sweet cream gelato and vanilla cake and it was absolutely heavenly! That said, I can never resist a good pistachio gelato, so that flavor was a must for me as well. We both enjoyed our gelato and polished it off in no time. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors on my next visit. Note that I agreed with another Yelper that it melts quickly for some reason. I was waiting for my friend to order hers and my gelato was already screaming for its dear life! Take your pix quickly and enjoy!

Worth it every time!!!! It's sooooo good! The affogato is super delicious! Their gelato is delicious as well as their sorbets. Service was great. It's funny, I walked by the first time and there was no line so, I went where I needed to go and thought when I came back, it would be the same. Nope. There was a line, but it wasn't horrible at all. Service was fast and friendly. Smaller than other locations I've been to but just as amazing.

    Torta Paradiso + Liana's Shortcake

Hello sweet scoops & giving back vibes! I finally got to try Bacio Di Latte today via their Free Gelato Day. This special day supports Meals on Wheels Torrance, so it extra sweet knowing it was all for a good cause. A piccolo cup includes up to two flavors and my flavors of choice were Torta Paradiso + Liana's Shortcake. These are the two newest flavors that the Bacio Di Latte has to offer. The Torta Paradiso just debuted today and is combination of sweet cream gelato, dulce de leche, pieces of vanilla cake and dusting of powdered sugar. They say this gelato is a "piece of heaven" and heavenly indeed it was. It was so smooth, sweet and creamy. Equally as delicious was Liana's Shortcake. This gelato consists of soft vanilla cake, strawberry jam and crumbles. I loved the sweet touch of strawberry jam and I even got a small chunk of strawberry. Overall I am so happy that I finally got to try Bacio Di Latte. The Torta Paradiso and Liana's Shortcake were both rich, creamy and full of flavor. It was definitely worth the wait in line. Safe to say this won't be my last gelato stop.

Sweet Cream Gelato on top of Hazelnut & Chocolate Gelato in a Waffle Cone dipped in Pistachio Cream with Hazelnuts and Pistachios

This place is insanely good. Their flavors are beyond delicious. I've been a couple of time already and have enjoyed everything I've tasted. This time, I got their Sweet Cream and their Chocolate & Hazelnut Gelato on a Waffle Cone dipped in the Pistachio Cream with both Hazelnuts and Pistachios. Normally, I'm not a big fan of any up-charge, but the Waffle Cone with all the fixings are well worth it. Each time I've gone, there has been a line which doesn't move as fast as one would hope, but the wait is yet another small price to pay to savor their yummy treat. Be aware, there is one lady that works there that seems to want to dictate what you have to do, telling me that it was weird to add both the Hazelnuts and the Pistachios. She was put in her place when another employee (whom I believe recommended it during my first visit) said that combination was the way to go. I also asked her to put the Hazelnut & Chocolate Gelato first (i.e., below my Sweet Creak Gelato) but she gave me another look and voiced her disagreement; I just wanted to enjoy the Hazelnut & Chocolate Gelato with my cone, so it made sense to me to have it at the bottom. Hopefully, you won't get her, and you will get someone more helpful and supportive. I didn't factor that experience into my five star rating since I hope that was a fluke and my other experience was on point. Enjoy your Gelato!!

    Tiramisu & Pistachio Gelato

So good! We stopped by after dinner and got lucky, there had been a line earlier, so be prepared to wait. I ordered the pistachio gelato and it was rich, creamy, and packed with pistachio flavor. My friend for the tiramisu, which was surprisingly delicious with notes of coffee and a crunchy crumble that added texture. We were the last customers of the night, but the staff was still kind and patient as we sampled a few flavors before deciding. It's a small shop. Located on the second floor near Nordstrom, it's worth the stop if you're at the mall.

A tasty Grand Opening! The staff was giving out either a Gift Card or Tote Bag to the first 50 in line. I chose the $20 Gift Card because hubby says we have enough tote bags. This spot used to be Frostbites. I was super happy to see Bacio di Latte taking over this space. It has been totally renovated to look like their other locations. It's sleek, modern, and inviting inside. I love Bacio di Latte! Their Gelato is creamy and smooth! It's worth a trek to the mall. Located across from Din Tai Fung & will be a handy dessert place after eating there! Hubby is working right now, so I came without him. He's been asking if it's open yet. We never made it during the Soft Opening, but I will definitely bring him here soon! It is nice to have this Gelato spot so close to home! They do have some competition in the South Bay, though! Options are good!! Come try as many samples as you want! Staff is friendly! I'm sure you'll find a flavor or two that suits you!

I cannot be more excited that a Bacio Di Latte opened in Del Ama across from Din Tai Fung. I have gone each day since it opened and it's the best gelato you will ever try. And this week it's all 50% off for cones cups and afagattos! Cant beat that. This location only has one freezer of gelato, most locations I've been to have 2. They usually have 2 sorbets and then a selection of gelato. You can sample each one and make your mind up. Flavors change so there's always something new. If you like Nutella you will be in heaven. The fresh waffle cone smell is to die for. They have a peanut butter Carmel crunch flavor that's amazing, as is all the flavors. You can have a hazelnut or pistachio cream inside your cup and at the top of your cone (like a drumstick) and you can add your choice of nuts. I tell people this is life changing gelato. It's the treat you want daily. And the line is worth the wait. If you haven't tried it you must. Use it as an excuse to get out of the house and walk around. I met a guy the had only gotten the sweet cream flavor because that base flavor was sooo good.

It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. I think, great since my elderly Dad is diabetic and shouldn't have a lot of ice cream, so I went with that but in a waffle cone, she said that would be $3.50. I said that's fine, I will have one in flavor A and the other one in flavor B, total came to $7.35 And I asked her to put the ice cream cone in a cup, so it would be easier for him to eat in the car as it was extremely hot that day, and I don't want it to drip all over the car. When she gave me the ice cream, it was both flavor in one cone. I told her I wanted 2 separate cone instead of all in one. And then she said it would be another $7, I was in a hurry, so didn't really put too much thoughts into it, and just charge it. So now I look at my charges, so it turns out the same serving, one is at $7.35 and the other is $7. When I get the ice cream, I asked her, so there nothing that is smaller than this. She said there is, but not in a waffle cone, it will be extra with a waffle cone. So I asked $2.50 in a regular cone and additional $3.50 for the waffle cone? She said yes!! I am still confused as to whether they have a smaller serving than small and how much it is. I check on the pricing people posted here and don't see a $2.50/$3.50 smaller size showing. It remains a mystery to me, and I really wanted to know as it will be a hot summer, both my elderly parents, who are diabetic, would probably asked for ice cream, and I really don't want them to have a small each on their own, since it is still a decent size and they don't like the same flavor, so they can't really share a small one.

At that point, we weren't even complaining about the delayed taiyaki. We simply wanted to let them know something seemed wrong with the dessert. We did eventually receive an apology for the delayed taiyaki, but only after we asked about the reason for the delay. The employee explained that he had mixed up our order with another table. I've supported Okrumong for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes, and a delayed order or a food quality issue can happen.
