This was an interesting joint... From what I understand, this Cache location is newer and bigger than the Gore location. It was definitely hopping as there were plenty of patrons on a Thursday evening. Even a few large groups could be seen. We started with chips and salsa. The salsa was gross, the queso was pretty good. We ran out of chips, but weren't sure if we should ask for more or what, so we just let it be. The menu is a one-pager, but still has a lot to offer. Read it carefully though. I thought I was ordering one thing, but was confused when my "BBQ" burger had no BBQ on it. Oh well. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The frozen banana cake was alright, too. I don't think it's meant to be served frozen, but it is what it is. I try to keep it local when I can. There just don't seem to be a lot of other decent choices in Lawton. I'll probably give it another shot and update review accordingly. read more

If I could give less stars I would. The service, food and atmosphere of this place is absolutely horrible. The waitress Madison was upright rude and had no interest in her job nor serving the guest. The music is too loud and the place is colder than any normal establishment. Most of the food either came out wrong or cold. I will not be going back to this outhouse of a place. You shouldn't either. I wouldn't suggest Madison as your waitress, run actually. read more

Pros: - we were seated immediately & the ambiance was casual, spacious, and welcoming -our waitress was very sweet & brought our food & drinks quickly -the food wasn't terrible (although I do wish I had my husbands food instead of mine he ordered one of the shrimp tacos A+ I must say) -the fried pickles were amazing. They were crunchy/lightly battered & salty. Paired with a creamy thick rich sauce. Cons: - I was a bit disappointed with my burger, I ordered the Kracken & I expected a lot more out of what I received. My patty was dry & I requested my bun to be lettuce wrapped, and i got a stacked reconstructed burger with Romaine lettuce leaves on the side of the plate. We've been here a couple times and the food is delicious but today is exceptional. Our son was eating mozzarella sticks and one stuck in his throat and he started choking and couldn't breathe fortunately we were able to remove it quickly and he is ok but where the exceptional part comes in is with the staff. Rachel, who I believe was the manager on duty was there immediately ready to assist and phone ready to call 911 if need be and consoled both me and our son after the ordeal was over. Knowing he was hesitant to eat solid food she brought him ice cream with hot fudge on the house. There was also a gentleman (a regular we were told so I hope he sees this because I didn't get his name) that came running to assist as well. Mother porker, that's a good sandwich! Ate here twice this week. The first time, midweek, I sat at the bar. That was a 5 star experience in terms of both awesome service and food. The bartender that night was a total sweetheart and very good at her job. Tonight (Friday) the food was good, but the service frustrating. Our table was celebrating and it took us awhile to decide on food, but that doesn't mean you just abandon us the rest of the night - especially when we're thirsty and have pockets full of tip money in exchange for the kindness and patience. Our server was visibly annoyed at us and totally checked out, and was full on snippy with us. Luckily, a woman who seemed to be the manager stepped in at points to help. Very nice person, even when my friend had a silly high maintenance request to microwave her queso (that was a *no* because, I think that's a violation of the health code?) but she just brought more queso instead- So that redeemed the place somewhat. I just think for the grumpy server, I wish I could just say, restaurant work is not for all folks so maybe she could I don't know -- do something she likes? Anyway, mother porker is great, fries average, queso meh, Nashville chicken sliders good if a bit too much friend onions for my taste, beer was pretty much a beer and the cocktail (Greyhound)was too sweet. I'm in town working for the week and was looking for a nice spot to chill. It's very cleaned and decorated well, attentive bar staff (I sat at the bar). They have a good selection of beers and cocktail. I order the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and it was one of the best salads I've had in a long time. I went in on a day that it was very packed. I had a brand-new waitress, who is still learning but she tried very hard. They were out of a few of the items on the menu but the options were still pretty good. It did take a long time to get our food and the appetizer did not show up till less than five minutes before the entrée was delivered. I went in at noon and I believe I finally got my food up about 12:50. I have not visited this location before so I am not sure if this is the norm. read more

This place should absolutely be considered if you are looking for a family outing or a fun date night. We have eaten at this location several times now and always have consistently good food and service. When you walk in the atmosphere is lively, the decor is exactly what I would expect to find in a draft house. It is bright inside with and has a good vibe. The make shift hot sauce holders made from 6 pack carriers is a cute touch on the table that is covered with vinyl picnic cloth. We are always greeted with a smile and seated immediately. My favorite place to sit is on the "back porch" a small enclosed patio off of the bar. I enjoy it because you can watch the bustle of the restaurant but it is slightly quieter out there. The wait staff is attentive but not overly so. Our order is taken promptly and has always been accurate. I really appreciate a place that serves the appetizer well before your entree comes out. I have had several different dishes here and am torn between the Gringo burger and The Real Deal Nachos as my favorite. The Gringo is a great messy burger with just enough heat, served with fresh fries. The mustard is a bit heavy but well balanced with all the other fixings. The Real Deal Nachos, are the best house made tortilla chips I have found in Lawton. Topped with killer queso and lots of fresh ingredients, they are completely crave-able. On our last visit my husband had tacos (he is very hard taco critic) so the fact that he liked them and didn't leave telling me "how they could have done them better" makes me know that they were delicious! read more

I loved the food here. I had the turkey avocado bacon melt with a side order of sweet potato fries. The flavor of the sandwich was spot on and the extra napkins were appreciated. The sweet potato fries came with seasoning, a welcome surprise over many other places that bring them out 'plain'. So why the three stars? While eating, I observed a waitress scrape something off the bottom of her shoe with the bottom of a ketchup bottle - and then put the bottle back on the table. Our waitress was great(was not the bottle/foot scraper), maybe just have a general meeting on dos and don'ts in the cleanliness department and will be good. Horrible experience. My mother came in last week and ordered nachos to go for me, there were barely any toppings when I received, so I called to let them know. I was told my name would be wrote down for a replacement order. Called to pick it up today, and the manager Amanda** was extremely rude and accused my mother of eating most of my order before bringing it to me! She said my name was not wrote down and had such an attitude! --Even ended the call with calling me a b**** as well. Soooo unprofessional! Will never eat here again! Please note. I have been to both locations in Lawton, and both are pretty good. Staff is helpful, not a bad selection of beer on tap, a large selection not on tap. Food is pretty good, I have only tried the burgers so far. My last server was Alexis, we had a large table with rowdy guys and separate checks she handled her self well. Now, I understand the basic principles of precious capitalism, BUT the retail markup on food is already around 300%. That's MORE THAN ENOUGH on my overall purchase (which included booze & Lawton's outrageous alcohol tax) to make up for my menial extras. There are people that have items REMOVED, but are said items SUBTRACTED from the bill? HELL NO!! And speaking of those less- than- saucy/condimenty types...we cancel each other out. And how about your poor servers, BPD? You have no business without them, yet are you OBTUSE enough to think your incessant nickel and diming doesn't subtract from their life- sustaining tips?? Customers look at the entirety of a bill they expected to be reasonable that is not, & who do you think suffers? Best Food! So impressed by everything! Blown away! Had the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. It was very delicious and satisfying. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We were in town for the middle school cross country run. My Mom got the Farm to Market salad, I got the steak fingers and my girls got burgers. I loved the jalapeño gravy. Spicy in a good way but not overpowering. The French fries were delicious! My Mom had no complaints about her salad and ate it all. And the sweet tea was everything it should be in the south! Our waitress was very friendly, checked on us just the right amount. It's a shame we live an hour and a half away or I'd make my husband take me again! I really had no complaints. The brunch is amazing, they have bucket mimosas. The only place in Lawton that has it! The salsa is incredible.
