It's been a little over a year since my first time trying B&C, and things have definitely changed…read moresince then--in a good way! I definitely feel like the team implementing the 7:45AM start time to line up has helped a lot. Not only is it better for the neighbors, but it also makes the whole experience feel a lot less chaotic compared to showing up super early and scrambling to get in line. Everything feels much calmer and organized now. As for the pastries: To be honest, it really depends on what you like. I'm one that gravitates towards pretty much anything with meat and chocolate. Because of that, most of their savory/meaty and creamy pastries are always a must for me. They're super flaky, flavorful and decadent. You can really tell how much time and effort they put into making everything as high quality as possible, especially since you can see them making everything from the window while waiting in line. All in all, I think there's been a lot of improvement over the past year with some trial and error. Their pastries have always been delicious and I personally think it's worth the wait. I recommend getting to the area closer to 7:45AM so you have a better chance of being towards the front of the line. If not, it's still better to come before opening, I just wouldn't recommend getting there right before they open. By then it's not guaranteed that you'll get everything you want since they do run out depending on how many people are there.

    Delicious, definitely not hype and it was worth the 1:15 min wait…read more - Short rib 5/5 - Brown butter cornbread 5/5 - Peach cobbler 5/5 - Pistachio cookie 5/5 - S'mores 3/5 - Strawberry cookie 3/5

They also bottles of European wine from Italy and Spain and Middle Eastern wines like Lebanese wine along with Japanese sake. This place is located on Clement street and it's called Olive. On a Friday stroll in San Francisco's Richmond District looking for something to drink, eat, and cook. I landed on Clement street again but this time at a specialty store. Inside you find aisles of ingredients to cook with and bottles of olive oil and specialty wines. They have the Don Juan's favorite Pinot Noir . You will also find wines like Syrah, Sherry and Rosé. They carry artisan pasta for Don Juan's tofu spaghetti ( made with Angel hair). This is the place to create the taste international flavors of different parts of the world. San Francisco Summer is approaching next month some days you have to wear a hat or a "beanie"and some days are so hot you will see some by the beach in a "bikini" you can also get a taste of the world and -Americana-not talking about the movie with "Sydney Sweeney" so grab something at Olives like the ones you pair in a Dirty "Martini" Come get some wine from Armenia , Italy and "Greece "then some that are "Lebanese" which is wine from the "Middle East "and then some Spanish Sherry wine and sake that's "Japanese"

We originally went to the location near Union Square, thinking we'd be able to grab pastries and hot chocolate, only to realize it's primarily a retail shop with chocolate bars and merchandise. We ended up making our way to the Valencia Street location, and I'm so glad we did. We learned that it used to be the original factory before they outgrew the space. Production has since moved a few blocks away, and now this location offers classes, a café, and plenty of chocolate treats. While we were there, a chocolate-making class was in session, and it was fun to watch part of it. The instructor even came over to chat with us and answer a few questions, which was such a nice personal touch. We ordered the brownie bite flight along with a hot chocolate, and both were fantastic. The brownie flight was rich, flavorful, and a fun way to sample different chocolates. The hot chocolate came with a tiny cookie that was absolutely delicious. At first, we were a little disappointed because we thought our hot chocolate was supposed to come with a marshmallow and didn't see one. When we mentioned it, the instructor smiled and showed us a toppings station we had completely missed. There were homemade marshmallows, flavored sugar cubes, and other little extras you could add yourself. He even encouraged us to take a few extra marshmallows, and they were some of the best I've ever had. One thing to know before you go is that Dandelion Chocolate focuses on high-quality chocolate that isn't overly sweet. If you're expecting the sugary milk chocolate flavor of a candy bar, this is a different experience. The chocolate has a richer, more complex flavor, and we really enjoyed trying something different. Between the friendly staff, delicious treats, and unique experience, I'd definitely recommend adding it to your itinerary--just make sure you head to the café location if you're looking for food and drinks!
