Friend and I try to meet up every so often for breakfast and we were looking for a local spot. I had this bookmarked and he had also been eying the place too but could locate it. Came in on a Sunday evening with less than 10 customers in the store. Ordered a burrito, burger, and fries, and I was hoping to be in and out within 15 minutes or so. To my surprise, I am still sitting here, waiting over an hour for my order to be ready, and the pile of orders after mine keep stacking up. I understand its tough when your business is understaffed, but the only two workers at the time also did not have a sense of urgency trying to get these orders out. Why is it that orders are called out almost 15-20mins apart? I have seen a few orders that maybe had 2-3 items at most, if not less. Most of the people here are waiting and not eating! Ultimately, the fault lies within management and I expected more since this franchise operates under Dog Haus and I have never had any bad experiences with them til today. So the other day this place popped up on Yelp! I love Breakfast Burritos so I was excited to see this in Carson. There were two employees working there at about 11 am on October 11th, a guy and a girl. The guy look me straight in my face, and said nothing.... absolutely nothing....not even a hello. That pissed me off!!! I stood there and counted in my head... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and then finally the lady looked at me and said, "can I help you?". I promised I counted a regular speed...not fast either... I received no "Hi", "How are you?", nothing. I told her that I was there for a pickup order and she then pointed and said it was right there and went back to doing what she was doing. OMG!!! The worst customer service I have had in a long time. I didn't get a have a nice day or thank you for coming, NOTHING. She could have at least walked over and handed me my order and smiled...that's customer service! So what I suggest the management do, is have a full day of training in customer service! Randomly came across this gem. Let me start off by saying this business is more of a self service restaurant. You have 3 options; self seating while scanning the QR code to pull up the menu, place order and pay. Second there's a tablet at the counter to order and third an employee can assist you if you need help. I chose to use the tablet as I wanted a to go order. I purchased, Bronco, Haus, Impossible Haus and Pastrami. The kind worker assisted me with adding additional ingredients. My food was prepared in a timely manner, smiles from the employees, and cleanliness. They also serve beer and have free board games for entertainment! It's rare you come across a place that offers Impossible & Beyond burger options so I was more than excited! To sum up this review I give the food a solid 10. Customer service a 10. There is no one taking orders at the counter and no cashier. You place your own order on a tablet and pay with a card. There are no servers. You take a number to your table as if they were going to at least bring the food to you, but they don't. So if they have literally ONE JOB, which is to make your food as you ordered it and as it it clearly typed out on the ticket, you would think it would at least be accurate, but I guess that's just too much to ask. We waited almost 40 minutes for 2 breakfast burritos and one was not made right. I ordered their Wurst Burrito and customized mine with italian sausage, no American cheese, and hot sauce on the side instead of in the burrito. I ordered for pick up via Yelp. Burrito was cooked well, seasoned, and great in portion. I do wish my requested hot sauce was included in my bag which I only managed to check when I was already home as the bag was sealed with a sticker. Thankfully I had hot sauce at home.
