Was excited to try Randys rolled tacos as we love rolled tacos. Staff was great but the only reason I bought anything after seeing the prices on the kiosk is because the staff was there ordering with me and I would have been embarrassed to run out like I wanted to. Everything is extra and added separately. Although they brought out complimentary beans and chips that were so hot it scorched and blistered my mouth. My 4 rolled tacos came out 20 minutes later with one spicy one. The spicy one was sooo spicy it had xxxtra hot cheeto dust covering it and it was very painful to try after having a blistered mouth and tongue. The rolled tacos were ok. The meat is kinda mushy. My mouth was in pain for 3 days. It was all too expensive for what I got. $25 for 4 rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese, and no drink is way too expensive. My regular rolled taco spot charges $6 for 3 rolled tacos or $9 for 6 with guacamole and cheese and it's fabulous! This place definitely misses the mark. No drinks, utensils, or napkins in the restaurant. You have to ask for everything. Got a tiny cup of water. No one in the dining room to give utensils, napkins, or drinks. Upon entering, I was greeted with a clean restaurant and a friendly worker (possibly the owner) and was offered help if I needed. I order their trio as is, no extra guac and cream, so I could fairly review their taquitos. The taste I could only think of as "Tex-Mex" which I don't believe they claimed, but that's what I got from the flavor. The chicken taquito was my favorite of the bunch! Food was delicious! I ordered 4 Rolled Tacos. I tried all 3 variations: Chicken, Beef, and Bean/Potato. I also ordered a side combo of beans & rice. As a promotion, the owner allowed me to try the Chips and beans made in-house. They were seasoned/cooked to perfection! Staff was very helpful. And although order stations are contactless, staff is available to assist, if needed! I also ordered some Pineapple/Mango Lemonade/Juice. I would have liked for it to taste more fruity and include some actual fruit or fruit pulp in it. Definitely a personal preference situation!! I will DEFINITELY return for the food and chips!! Ok so I was a little thrown off when I first walked in. The set up is not traditional so there isn't a counter to order at. There are two kiosks and a few booths to dine in. All clean and nice. The business says rolled taco (I was thinking taquito) but I didn't understand the concept until I opened my food. Lastly, I thought it was a bit pricey until I actually saw the portion. Now I get it. The food - it's GOOD. I got one chicken and one. Beef. The chicken rolled taco Randy's way and the lemon cake. SO GOOD!!! I'm glad I only got two. I was full. The service - the owners are very nice and take time with their food. They've been open 5 months and I hope they do well. My sister and I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. We were immediately welcomed by one of the owners, who was very sweet and friendly. She helped us order on the kiosk and suggested to try our rolled tacos "Randy's Way", which I did. It is a very clean and inviting space with great music. Both of the owners came out bring our food and greet us, which I greatly appreciated. We ordered the chicken rolled tacos with lettuce and cheese, red and green sauce, and one order "Randy's Way". Service: I was craving some rolled tacos and stumbled across this place on google reviews and it did not disappoint. I came in with my family and we were pleasantly greeted by a woman (not sure if it was one of the owners). We ordered our food at the kiosk and she was there to answer any questions which was really thoughtful. The food came out promptly within 10 minutes. Food: We ordered two sets of rolled tacos. (Chicken and shredded beef) Both were seasoned to perfection packed in a crispy rolled taco. Delicious! I topped mine with guacamole, lettuce and cheese. The guacamole was also great. However, I wish they would have added a little more shredded cheese on top. They do have salsas but the flavor is more on the mild side with a sweet/tangy flavor. Still good but wish there was a salsa more on the hot/spicy side. Overall great experience! This is also a family owned business which is a plus. We will definitely come back. Let me start off by saying I was extremely EXCITED about trying Randy's Rolled TACOS; as my FRIENDS have spoken HIGHLY of it and even shared that there's a discount on Wednesdays. Well me and my CREW stop in to give it a try. We placed our orders using the self-service screen, and a staff member was there to guide us and answer questions. The help made the process smooth and easy. The rolled tacos are rather pricey; I selected two which were $9.49. You then have the choice of add ons; I selected red and green enchilada sauce which was $1.99 and topped it off "The Randy's Way" which is Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream and Guacamole) that's an additional $3.99. I added a small drink which was $2.99. They also add on a 1% service fee; everything came to a total of $20.59. Upon inquiring about the discount the lady shared that we had to spend $35 or more for such. Please note amongst me and my CREW our ordered exceeded that. Needless to say we didn't get the discount. I checked in with my FRIENDS that spoke HIGHLY of Randy's and they confirmed that not being the case as they received discounts on their purchases on Wednesdays without there being a minimum charge. This was rather disappointing as to the lady telling us there was a minimum charge to receive the discount. Me and my CREW and FRIENDS are the type that spread the word on new eateries and help support businesses. Based on the inconsistencies with the discounts knowing my coworkers had went the same day and received a discount is disappointing and misleading. Let's get to the review on the food. I selected two rolled tacos one beef and one chicken both which were shredded meat. With the toppings they were tasty. For the price I do think it was rather HIGH! I think that they should have an option where you can get The Rolled Tacos Randy with the enchilada sauce as well as a side of rice/beans with a drink. So basically a combo with a more reasonable deal. $5 for one rolled taco without anything on it is PRICEY! As for the drinks; they lacked flavor and the size was extremely small. The lady did provide us with a side of half beans and half rice to share/sample; which was flavorful. The manager even came out to our table to bring our food and check on us, she was the sweetest little kid and made the whole experience extra special! The chef also came out to check in on us as well. I likely won't return. The Wednesday discounts weren't consistent with what I know has been provided to others which was disappointing since first impressions are everything. With the current pricing, it's hard to see this place standing out against nearby competition. The ambiance is simple, the place is small with just a few tables, but it's clean. First time here today, and I had the four pack of the chicken tacos Randy's way, sour cream, pico , homemade guacamole The food was hot fresh and delicious. Definitely a must come back ASAP. Then I got some homemade chips reminded me of some homemade Doritos their way with a tiny little spice to it with these amazing black bean pandas. I believe that's what they call them and that was out of this world with a tiny little kick to it a little heat that actually gave it flavor. I'm so happy I found this place. The family recipe is unforgettable, the tacos were delicious. Every chance I get to come to the city of Carson, I stop by and get a roll taco .
