Jessica was my esthetician. She talked me through the process and evaluated my skin as I asked her questions. She had the greatest demeanor and easy to get along attitude. But when it came to the actual process, she created a relaxing, quiet mood. She was gentle with the extractions and provided delicately firm massages. Talking about massages, the table was a heated massage table. Nice. I also added a hand treatment. After the hydra facial, I was shown the water. It was cloudy, not too bad as I was told. She advised me on some products they offer, not a hard sell pitch. I declined; she didn't hard press which I appreciate. My face was glowing (luminous and rosy) and seemed less poof-y afterwards. My hands felt more moisturized. The dry skin on my inner palm gently sloughed off. The next day, they looked revitalized. Pricing is comparable or less expensive to other local places. The facility is clean and is gorgeously designed. It has a calming white color scheme. Giving off modern, posh vibes without the pretentiousness or clinical feeling. I also felt uncomfortable being lectured while I was scheduling the appointment initially about my treatment timing when I had already explained I received my last treatment in a different location on my face 2.5 months ago. I completely understand policies, but a small amount of flexibility in this situation would have made a big difference. Life changing! When I was a teenager I made the mistake of shaving my chin and under my chin/neck…read morearea and as you know once you shave you always have to shave. Fast forward 27 years of shaving my chin and under my chin/neck every day and I found Ser Aesthetics. I was skeptical because I had tried laser hair removal 10 years ago and it didn't work very well, it was so expensive and you had to commit and pay for several treatments upfront. I started my treatments at Ser in July 2024. After my first treatment in a week or two I noticed a slight difference the hair wasn't as coarse. I religiously went to my appts every 3 or 4 weeks until about April 2025. After every treatment I could visually see and feel the difference. The hair was becoming less and less coarse and wasn't growing back as quickly. Every month that I went I noticed I was shaving less and less. I could go one day without shaving and not feel the stubble, then 3 days, then 5 days, and so on. By April I was barely shaving at all anymore and just being feeling my face so soft and without stubble was so satisfying. For 27 years I was self conscious and wouldn't let anyone touch my chin or face because of the stubble and always had to carry a razor with me just in case the 5 o'clock shadow showed up or I stayed overnight someplace. In April I felt I could stop going every month and wait to see the stray hairs pop up. It was 3 or 4 months before I noticed a few random hairs pop up. That told me it was time to do my touch up appt. Overall, Ser Aesthetics has been a life changer for me and I recommend it to anyone feeling self conscious about hair on their face or body. You do have to commit to going to your appts every month, but I promise you it's so worth it and you will not regret it. So he begins my massage and it was awful for a full 60 mins of torture. It was not a massage at ALL. The pressure he was applying I thought he was going to break the table!! The whole table was shaking and it seemed like he whole point was like you asked for deep tissue, that's what you'll get. Nothing about it felt like a massage where you actually get your back rubbed it's was all pressure points, him using his elbows in my back. I should have stopped him but I thought maybe just maybe he will ease up on the areas where I didn't ask him to focus, I was wrong. I sucked it up and ran out of there. Never again will I book a massage here.
