    99 cent mimosas for brunch!
    Amy G.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon to treat myself for my birthday since I've been coming here every year for my birthday since 2021, shortly after brunch & was immediately seated. It then took over 20 mins to get someone's attention as the waitresses took the orders of the few tables that had people at them, but walked past me as if I wasn't even there. I got the attention of the man who sat me, who told me the waitress was "swamped" and took my order. Had someone taken my order sooner, I could have placed my drink order and gotten that while I look for what I want to eat. Instead the whole order went in at once and 3 minutes later everything came out. I was hoping to have my drink first as well so I could order a second one when the food came out. As I'm eating, I'm guessing the girl who was the waitress that was "swamped" kept stopping at my table to make sure everything was good. As soon as I finished eating, a man took my tray and then it was 27 minutes of trying to get the attention of the waitresses walking past like I wasn't there, watching the girl who checked on my table clock out for the day & saying bye to the rest of the tables she waited on except for mine. I finally got the attention of the host again. I guess he saw that I was annoyed because he offered me a shot with the check. Was hoping to have a nice afternoon with a couple of drinks, but was sober by the time the check came to me.

My friend and I came back to dirty taco again after a few months because it is our favorite on a weekend! The place is always a vibe, with fun music and the best service. Our server was super attentive and friendly which is always appreciated. The decor here is also cool no matter where you sit from. I was feeling a vegan light vibe so I got the cauliflower taco and the Brussels sprouts taco which i LOVED. i love that there are so many things to choose from, and something for everyone. I got a regular margarita because I am boring with my drinks, but it was great! I will definitely be back and recommend, it is worth the wait on the weekends.

I have never had a bad day at dirty taco! Their drinks are phenomenal, their service is impeccable with the most personable staff, & their food is so incredibly flavorful! 10 out of 10 every single time!

Came here for dinner post work and had a pleasant experience. I ordered the watermelon basil marg which was delicious, and despite being strong, didn't leave an after taste of tequila which I always appreciate. I ordered three tacos: pork belly, Jamaica jerk, and birria since I wanted to try a pork, beef, and chicken based taco. The Jamaican jerk and pork belly, while good, were not out of this world extraordinary. The Jamaican jerk did have a nice kick to it which I'll add. The birria was the best one of the bunch and was the most flavorful, especially with the side stew/sauce thing. Service was great - that I'll note. Our waiter was consistently checking in and everything came out super quickly. The place itself has a great ambiance and I can imagine great for a happy hour. I'll definitely be back though regardless to try more things.

Dirty Taco is a lively restaurant serving up tacos and great margaritas. The staff are always friendly and make sure you're doing Ok. Great for groups, may be loud for children. The tacos are always great, fresh guac, and hearty bowl options. My go to when I'm craving some tacos and a good time.

So far ever Dirty Taco I have visited has one thing in common, great customer service ! Dirty Taco + Tequila RVC made me feel welcomed, our server was attentive. Street metered parking is easy, outside seating options are available but inside has the open window space that provides cool air. Prices for taco range from $6-7.50. The Summer menu had Lobster tacos but I stook to what I usually order. Wings, Birria and steak chimichurri tacos. The chips and queso is my starter. The walls are decorated with morals and humorous posters. Seating is spacious and they have a full bar specializing in Margaritas Mojitos Do I recommend ? Yes Will I be back ? Yes

This was my first time coming to this location, and I had to check it out because I already love Dirty Taco in Bayside. A fellow Yelper actually put me on and ever since then can't stop going I started with the loaded totchos comes with crispy tater tots topped with queso, guac, pico de gallo, and fresh jalapeños. A MUST try!!! Better than the nachos the perfect way to start.Next I tried the Mexican eggrolls stuffed with ground beef, black beans, corn, a Mexican cheese blend, and their dirty sauce. They were okay not bad, but not my favorite compared to everything else. Now let's talk about the dragon bowl that was a GOOD bowl. Packed with raw tuna, salmon belly, yellowtail, avocado, pickled onions, cucumber, edamame, apple, sushi rice, and mixed greens it was fresh, filling, and honestly one of the highlights of my meal.I also had a pineapple margarita YUMMY. I couldn't leave without getting the tres leches cake. I will say, I still prefer the slice from the Bayside location it just hits better there the service here was great, and I had a really good experience. Definitely a great spot and good vibes.

Finally revisited Dirty Taco after a few years. Went on a Friday night around 7PM and the joint was packed, however only had to wait 30 mins for a table. Started off with the guac and chips. The guac was super fresh and delicious. Wish they gave more portion wise. I got 3 different beef tacos: carne asada, chimichurri and birria. All of these were served on a corn tortilla. The carne asada taco had a generous portion of perfectly cooked steak which was tender. The carne asada taco was simple with just steak, onions and cilantro. The menu said it comes with tomatillo sauce, but I don't believe there was any on my taco. I believe it needed a better sauce to tie it all together. Maybe chimichurri or aji verde. The actual chimichurri taco had steak, pickled red onions, queso, pico de gallo and chimichurri sauce. Unfortunately, could not taste the chimichurri sauce because the pickled onions were overpowering. Also, this taco was very WET. It made the tortilla very soggy and break apart. I think the wetness came from the pico de gallo. Also, I could not tell if this actually had cheese. This one was disappointing. Too much going on in this taco. Thankfully, I got the birria taco and it was hands down the best taco. The stewed beef was so delicious and paired perfectly with the melted mozzarella cheese along with the onion cilantro mix. I love how perfectly pan fried the exterior was. I will definitely get 3 birria tacos next time. I also had the Mexi Street Fries as a side. The fries were thick and fried to perfection. They had a nacho seasoning on them. They were served with a "dirty sauce" but the sauce was too sweet for me. I think a queso/melted cheese sauce would have worked better.

I had been hearing a lot of buzz about Dirty Taco and finally decided to check out the Sunrise Highway location with my wife for a casual dinner. The vibe definitely leans trendy--dim lighting, bold décor, a kind of street-food-meets-gastropub energy that draws a good crowd. We went in with an open mind and decent expectations, but overall, I'd say the experience was just okay. Not terrible by any means, but not enough to make me want to come back. Let's start with the positives: the service was friendly and pretty attentive. Our server checked on us a few times, got our order right, and made sure we had drinks and napkins when we needed them. The food came out relatively fast, and everything looked good presentation-wise. The place has a fun, upbeat energy, and the menu is definitely creative--you can tell they're aiming to push the boundaries a bit with nontraditional taco combos and fusion elements. We ordered a few different tacos to try a variety: the Korean short rib, Buffalo chicken, and the crispy shrimp. I also got a side of street corn and my wife tried the brussels sprouts. The tacos were... fine. They weren't bad, but they didn't wow us either. The Korean short rib had good flavor but was really heavy on the sauce, to the point that it overpowered everything else. The Buffalo chicken was super salty and almost felt like something from a bar menu rather than a taco joint. The crispy shrimp was probably the best of the bunch--well-fried and had a nice crunch--but even that one wasn't super memorable. All the tacos felt like they had potential but were kind of overthought, like they were trying too hard to be edgy or different. The street corn was disappointing--it came out lukewarm and drowned in sauce, making it mushy. The brussels sprouts were better, but again, nothing that made us want to rave about them. As for drinks, we had two margaritas--good, but pricey for the size. The space was loud, which I understand is part of the vibe, but it made conversation a little tough. And the seating was tight--tables were kind of packed in, and it didn't feel like a relaxing meal. For a place that's clearly trying to be a local favorite and stand out with personality, it just didn't feel balanced between food quality and concept. In short, it was an okay experience. I'm glad we tried it once, but I probably won't be going back. There are too many other spots with better tacos, more comfortable atmosphere, and less of the over-the-top "Instagram trendy" vibe. If you're nearby and curious, it might be worth trying once--but for me, it didn't live up to the hype.

I just love this place. First time ordering delivery from them and it was delicious per usual !

I have been to multiple Dirty Taco locations and this is the first time I've visited the RVC location. I love the size of this location as you have much more room compared to the Wantagh location. However, much like the Wantagh location, parking is a little difficult. There is street parking and a parking lot that requires either the downloading of yet another parking app or coins for the meter that only lets you pay up to two hours. Thankfully, he was able to break change for us. Other than that hiccup, we loved that waiter and he checked on our group consistently. As always, the food and drinks were always delicious and delivered to our table promptly! I truly cannot get enough of Dirty Taco! One of the best restaurant chains on the island when it comes to pricing and quality

What a fun restaurant that serves good food and drinks! Our server even treated us to a shot at the end of our meal! The only negative was paying the bill. She could not split the bill per group, it had to be split exactly 3 ways no matter what we ordered. That seemed rather primitive as we are used to paying separately when we went to other restaurants.

Eclectic place. Good vibe. Knowledgeable staff. Our waiter helped our vegan diner with her food choice. The tacos were delicious. The bowls were unique. I recommend the Dragon bowl. Fast and friendly service. Parking is a little challenging on the weekend. Worth the trip for the taco and bowls.
