I was seated right away and given a menu, I like the fact the bartender let me know it was happy hour. I had a mojito before I decided what I wanted to order. After I finished my beverage I decided to order there beef nachos and try a white sangria. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted the red or white sangria so the bartender was nice to let me try a sip of both and I decided on the white sangria. I've seen it thousands of times but never tried it. Decided to go for lunch and it's good but not great. I felt my fajita chicken chunks were too big for fajitas and my friend's tacos were ok. Sweet and savory which I don't love but overall they were fine. I think some people might love this place, service was great, so that's a plus. I'd try again but something different. read more

5/10/25. Was able to squeeze in the bar area around 530pm Saturday. Chloe was our bartender, and she was super cool. Great Sforno Merlot and cosmos! I had a wonderful experience with the food and the staff at this restaurant. The managers, servers, and hostess were all incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about providing great service. However, during my visit last night, I witnessed something that left me extremely uncomfortable. A man--who appeared to be in a position of authority--spoke to a young staff member in a way that was shockingly rude and demeaning. It was disturbing to see someone address their employee like that, especially when the rest of the staff was working so hard and treating guests with such kindness. I want to emphasize that the team members themselves were excellent; they truly made the experience enjoyable. But it was upsetting to see such wonderful staff treated in a manner that felt completely inappropriate. I hope this was an isolated incident, because the people working here deserve far better. Hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in Nassau County! (I don't know enough about Suffolk to say all of Long Island, but I would make a confident bet) Their waffle fry nachos and queso are great to start. You can't go wrong with any taco, burrito, enchilada, quesadilla, etc - everything is delicious! For my birthday they gave us churros and this awesome cinnamon style ice cream - yum. Came here with a group of friends on a weeknight. We shared the traditional guacamole which was very fresh and had enough for 5 people to share. I would definitely order the guacamole here again. My friend and I shared their beef empanadas and they were so good. It came with 2 large empanadas per order. (another thing I'd definitely order again). My friend & I also split an order of the carne asada tacos which came with avocado, cotija cheese, red onions, and chimichurri. The tacos were good, but I would not order them again. Everything tasted pretty good here and the prices are decent. My server wasn't very attentive with the drinks and basically rushed us out of there too. Instead of asking if we wanted anything she just started asking if we wanted boxes and the bill oblivious to the fact we actually came for the dessert and wanted to put that in last. We were there for under 40 minutes so I'm not sure what the rush was about. I'll likely come again but I'm hoping for a different server. read more

We were quickly seated you get come chips and salsa. They are using plastic cups right now for dine in. We had the avocado fries , street corn . Chicken wings , and churros. Overall everything was very tasty. The churros were lacking in the cinnamon and sugar coating but were good otherwise. What a wonderful surprise going here! From the staff, atmosphere and food....everything was incredible. So refreshing to go to a place and enjoy the experience nowadays with all the shortages happening. This place was on the ball! Immediately sat down, chips and salsa came as we were settling down, the server was amazing! Friendly, very aware, checked in and even saw our drinks nearly empty from the back of the restaurant while we were seated in the very front and sent someone immediately to refill them. The server, food runner, busboy were all great. Never had to ask for anything. They were already on the move to get it to you before you ever thought to ask. Excellent service! But the food....omg the food!!! Full of flavor! Beautifully plated and generous. The carne tacos were out of this world. The mexican pizza was loaded. But the true star of the night are the churros. Save room for them! They surprise you with what tasted like an horchata ice cream to go along with it....i could eat a whole pint of it! It was that good. First the elephant in every room: Covid. Masks are required, staff wears mask, and tables are separated by plexiglass. Now to the business. Cinco de Mayo!! What a day! Lol when I arrived at 6pm, I was told the wait was 3.5 hours for my party of 3! Whoa! I expected the day to be crazy but not THAT crazy! I put my name on the list anyway because I had been circling around looking for parking for a while and there were long lines outside every Mexican spot in the area. Shortly after the hour mark I inquired how many more parties were in front of me, I was told 3 other parties of 3. It was a weird system they were going by where they would seat a party of 4 that came after, instead of a party of 3 which could've utilized that same table. Anyway, one of the hostess, Taylor was really nice and said she could move some stuff around and would seat us soon. 1.5 hours later and we were seated. The services was surprisingly good and quick despite them being really busy! Within minutes of being seated, we were given complimentary chips and salsa and waters. Another 5 minutes or so later, our waiter came over to introduce himself and take our drinks and appetizer orders. Less than 10 mins later, our wings and guac was at the table, they actually came out before the drinks which arrived a few minutes later. We placed our main course order right then and about 20 mins later they were at the table. I also saw a review that said they were charging and extra 4% if you pay with card; well that was definitely NOT the case for me. Maybe an old practice? The food was good! Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned just right! They give you 3 different salsas which were all good. The guac was really good and fresh! The wings were very tasty! We did wish they were fried a tad bit harder/crispier, but of course that's personal preference. For our main courses I had the shrimp and lobster quesadilla, which was served with yellow rice, black beans, and a small cabbage salad. It was a decent size but not cut like a typical quesadilla and I was quite surprised how tasty it was. The lobster actually tasted like real lobster meat and not some frozen imitation version, and it was seasoned well. My friends both had the burrito grande which comes with shrimp, steak, chorizo, and chicken and the other burrito fixings and they were able to "double" the portion certain meats as one don't eat pork and beef and the other doesn't eat pork. This is served with yuca fries and the same cabbage salad. They both said they were pleased with their food. We got margaritas for our first round of drinks. I had a frozen passion fruit which was good! My friend had a classic margarita on the rock which she also said was good and the other had a mango on the rocks which she said was too sweet. For our second round we decided to get the SangRita pitcher (sangria and margarita mix) which was $60. We didn't think it was worth it because it was more sweet than strong and I've had some really tasty AND strong ones elsewhere. And we each only got a cup and a half from it. We finished off with a round of tequila shots! This place has been on my list for a while and I wasn't disappointed at all, besides the craziness of the waiting and cinco de Mayo, but I set myself up for that! Lol I definitely want to say great job to the crew they had working yesterday because they somehow managed to make it al work through the madness and still give good service! Okay this place is just okay. My friends and I were in the area and decided to get some afternoon lunch. I really had high hopes but the service and food was just mediocre. The good thing about our visit was the place was clean, socially distanced, the hostess was friendly and our food came out quick. I ordered the carne asada tacos and the tortillas were just falling apart as I ate. My girlfriend had the shrimp tacos and had the same complaint. I find my tacos lacked seasoning and overall was pretty bland. Same complaint from my friend about her shrimp tacos. Our other friend had the wings which she said were great. However kind of disappointed that the tacos at a Mexican restaurant were subpar. The frozen margaritas were okay. Lack of liquor and overall I've had better. I wouldn't recommend this spot. One server/bartender that couldn't get to all the tables fast enough. One other staff person that could barely keep up with all patrons arriving. And that says a lot just of the service. Um. Food was bland. Food wasn't good. I got a sandwich that was less than memorable. Husband had the fish tacos. Nothing tasted authentic. The most "authentic" part was the guac the poor person that had to tend to tables made and they shove all their avocado scraps into a drawer under the table where they make the guac. It was bizzaro. Your average Tex Mex restaurant. They have decent menu, though nothing you couldn't already find at any other Tex Mex joint. The service was good, and the staff was very attentive. A large group of us went on a Sunday afternoon to catch up and they were able to accommodate without making us feel like we were overstaying our welcome.
