After this frustrating first experience, I seriously doubt I'll ever eat Bad Daddy's again. It started off ok with a friendly hostess/server in a clean and relatively quiet dining room, but things went downhill once our meal arrived. The server brought out the wrong burger, and when I pointed that out, she took it back to the kitchen, then returned, explaining that she had entered the wrong item in the system. She said, "I'll take it off," which I took to mean I wouldn't be charged for my meal given her error and the considerable delay in my receiving my food, but when the ticket came, the price of the burger was included. When I questioned it, she said she took the *other* burger off of the ticket, but that poor communication on her part left me feeling frustrated. Not only that, but the kids' meals were plated wrong. The server realized it after bringing the plates to the table, and she proceeded to switch items from one plate to another right in front of us USING HER BARE HANDS. She knew this was our first time at Bad Daddy's, but she seemed more interested in the upsell than in providing a quality experience, evident in her failure to point out that ordering the mac and cheese as a side for a kids' meal would incur a $4.95 upcharge and in her assertion, "You saved room for dessert." To top it all off, she listed a bible verse (Philippians 4:13) on the bottom of the receipt. I would rather she take care of her customers by focusing on doing her job well. The chicken and pineapple grilled with slaw, and a sauce was a perfect blend. My husband could not wait for me to take a picture, and he had the American burger. This place is delicious! I got the smokehouse burger with fries and my boyfriend got Emilio's chicken but with grilled chicken instead of the fried chicken it typically comes as. Both were yummy with all flavors popping. The burgers are huge so expect to leave with a full belly. The fries are so bomb too. The regular fries tasted better than the sweet potato fries to me. It had more flavor. We also got a side of spicy garlic ketchup which was amazing. Not very spicy and should be bearable for most people. The menu has a lot of other condiments but I figured I would try all of them out another time. As for the service, they're all really nice but the service wasn't up to speed. It wasn't a busy Sunday night when we went either. The prices are pretty high but it's worth it. I'd say it's a little more than burger republic. Stopped in for lunch as the place we were him going had a wait. They have a great outdoor covered dining area. We dined inside and everyone was spaced apart. It's a bar and as the name says it serves burgers. They have a nice full service bar. The menu has gourmet burgers or you can create your own with various toppings. The burgers are served with your choice of a side. They also serve milkshakes. The burgers were really good, juicy and cooked as requested. The service was good. We were seated immediately. Being the restaurant was not crowded, our server was extra attentive including trying to remove my friend's plate while they were still eating and delivering the ticket after we got the meal. We got there around lunchtime and it wasn't busy. But after waiting for about an hour, and watching other people who came in after us get their food, our server finally came to tell us "the kitchen lost our ticket". Is this code for her forgetting to ring it in? I get its easier to blame it on the kitchen so hopefully it wouldn't affect her tip. But it took her an hour to realize we didn't have our food yet? Waited a while longer and the food finally came. We also asked for a manager twice. Finally a guy, maybe a manager(?), came to our table looked at our food, said Hey, and then turned and walked away before we could even say anything. I understand sometimes things happen. They did discount the meal but this situation could have been handled more professionally. As for the food, the burger was bland and fries were average at best. My husband and I have eaten here 3 times and when it's good it's good but more often than not it's a mess. The first time we went was specifically because we saw they had bison burgers and onion rings. We ordered just that and both were delicious. Service was great and we were excited to bring our girls here. The second time we brought our girls and they completely forgot my husband's order and when we brought it to their attention and they brought it out the rest of us had already finished our meals (which we enjoyed) and my husband's burger was grossly overcooked (we order our Bison rare). The last time my husband and I came in because we really wanted a Bison burger (and like I said when they make them right they are very good) and we were greeted and sat quickly. Our waitress took our drink order and we filled out our made to order burger sheets. Our waitress came back and took our order and still no drinks. Our appetizer arrived (onion rings, pretty greasy) and still no drinks. We finally asked and she said "oh let me see about those" and they arrived about 5 minutes later. Our burgers arrived and my husband's was close to correct (although the amount of onions and mushrooms was miniscule) but mine arrived missing my sauteed onions and mushrooms but with fried onion straws which the waitress insisted I had asked for..nope. She came back with a saucer containing a quarter size serving of onions and mushrooms . Both burgers were cooked more medium rare than rare. First time going here and originally I thought it was pretty good. The tables could have been a little bit cleaner. They sat us near the bar so it was difficult to hear our waitress while the other servers were complaining bout coworkers. The burger was good, I got the chips with mine and they were a bit too cooked almost burnt and it would be nice to put some seasoning on them. They seated us by the front door and it was under 30 degrees and snowing this night so the only bad part of this night was freezing every time the door was opened which for a Friday night you can imagine so we rushed through our food. I ordered the Kim's honey chicken which had the perfect mix of spice and honey. I will definitely come back for that one. My daughter had the chicken tenders and they were seasoned perfectly and for a chicken tender connoisseur like herself who orders chicken tenders everywhere we go this was a big deal for her to say they were really good and even licking her fingers at the end. I visited on a busy Saturday but was seated immediately with my grandchildren. Service was slow, but it's understandable considering the influx of folks that came in at once. Anyhow, the interior is dark, but it seems to fit the flow of design. The place is family friendly, and offers a children's menu. It took some time before we got a waiter, but he was great. Just a thumbs up to the beautiful queens taking care of the front. The kids ordered different burgers and I ordered a Cesar salad with salmon. I ordered some truffle fries as well as a mojito. The mojito came, but we didn't get the fries. Our food came to us about 20-30 min after ordering. I reminded the hungry kids that sometimes, that could just mean exquisite freshness and preparation :) The food was great and hot, The burgers were juicy and the fries and tots were delicious. Some of the best I've had. My only complaint is the overcooked and tasteless piece of salmon that was slapped on my salad. I'm so glad I had extra Cesar to hide the taste. I would visit again. The best two parts of the burger were the sauces and the pickles. I had bad daddy sauce on the side and I'm a fan. It had a Smokey taste which I loved. I'm not sure where they're souring those pickles from but I loved those as well. Fries are rarely good via delivery and I found the same with these. They were average. Our service was amazing, all COVID precautionary measures were being taken, the restrooms were clean, and the manager paid a visit to our table to check on us (which makes me feel as if I'm genuinely cared for as a customer). They have appetizers, a nice bar, burgers, chicken, fish, desserts, etc. I chose the "build your own burger" route by highlighting everything from the type of bun you want, protein, toppings, sauces, etc. I ordered a 7 oz. beef patty with Mac n cheese, raw jalapeños, and a garlic mayo sauce. Y'all, it was delicious! Some toppings are extra, but still worth the price. Also, there are neat posters and what not on the walls to look at. But , the servers don't acknowledge us ... last time we went ( 4/16/2023 ) , nobody even asked what we wanted to drink for 15 minutes until we had to get a server ourselves. This one was an interesting one. We were seated very quickly with friendly service. It took a while to get service at our table. We found out that was due to our waitress was having to serve half the restaurant, and be the bartender. We started with the Fried Pickles for an appetizer. I'm not going to lie, they were pretty terrible. Thin flavorless breading. The pickles with drenched in oil. I pushed on one with a fork and frying oil went everywhere. The manager saw me do it and came over to make sure everything was ok and to tell me how good the pickles were. I didn't take a picture of me pushing the grease out of them. But you can tell just by looking at how flexible they are. The next issue I had is kind of my own fault. I ordered Chicken fingers at a burger restaurant. They came out with thick, hard, flavorless breading on them. Truly some of the worst chicken fingers I've ever had. The Meat it self was dry. It is my fault for ordering chicken fingers at a burger place, but it's not my fault for not knowing they could be that bad. My wife ordered the beyond burger. I salute them for having vegan options. It came out cooked nicely. It was also one of the biggest Beyond Patties that I have ever seen. SoI really applaud them on that. We also ordered a regular burger. Cheeseburger with 2 patties and Mac and cheese on top. We ordered the patties medium Rare. 1 Patty was Med Well, and the other patty was well done. The Mac and cheese was lunch room Mac and cheese. It was trash. I don't mean to beat up Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, I just haven't had a restaurant disappoint me so badly in a long time. My question is, do they know what a seasoning is? It had to be the most bland & tasteless burger I ever ate. The only thing that made it edible was smothering it in ketchup. The tots were under cooked. Not crispy at all. Now my wife ordered the Kim's honey chicken. It was Fantastic. Big piece of chicken. Cooked perfect and seasoned/ sauced perfectly. Her fries were perfect as well. We also got the fried deviled eggs. Those were definitely a keeper. The service put it over the top. She was Fantastic. The vibe is super chill; cross between sports bar and rock & roll hall of fame. Our waitress was a complete doll. She was very patient and accommodating. Being our first time there we needed a little more time to make our decisions. And, much to our suprise, it was our waitresses' first night on the floor. She was engaging, polite, friendly and kind. I wish I could remember her name. But, a tall pretty girl with long dark hair and wore a bandana. My husband and I both opted for the "build your own burger" choice. I added a side of the onion rings- they were delicious, and Hubs did fries. We also each ordered a beer from the bar on tap. Nice selection of beers. Burgers are fresh and cooked to order perfectly.
