I had been hearing about this chain for a bit so was looking forward to trying it the other night with some friends. Gal at the front door was friendly. She was the last smile we'd see all night. We were put in a corner (not busy at all) where you couldn't even check in on Yelp. It took about ten minutes for a gal to come by for our drink order. Then about another ten for the water and one tea, and one shake. We placed our order while she was there for fear we'd never see her again. (Foreshadowing has never been more spot on). Salads, sliders, nachos, burger and tots. Not a huge order and thankfully it came in decent time. Food came and looked pretty good. Being able to build your own salad is great though it does add time to the ordering process. Food was ok, but nothing special. I've read the tots (green chili and cheese) were sooo hot. They're not. They were just ok. The chocolate shake was less than chocolatey. Would not order that again. Waters were at less than half when food was ordered and gone about three minutes after it got there. Tried unsuccessfully flagging down ANY staff member to get more water and no one would even look our way. Finally managed to flag down the server next to our table only to have him snarl and look at us as if he didn't have time. Explained to him we just needed someone to find our gal and that we were all out of drinks. He looked beyond irritated and walked away without saying a word. She magically appeared from the other direction just then so we had to ask what his name was. Greg is what she said. Let me tell you, Greg- you may not have been our server but your rudeness will keep all of us and our friends away form this location. We really loved the Southlands location when we lived over there, so we were syched to see one open in our new 'hood Southglenn. Same great burgers (piled high with topping), a wide beer menu, delicious tots and tons of TVs (when they work). This one still has A LOT of kinks to work out. We were seated in the bar area and a party of 6 were seated next to us at a 4 person pub table! They squeezed in and overflowed into our space. The server and hostess didn't seem to give a f$ck that they were loud, in the way and at a table that couldn't fit them. Totally kinda ruined the experience. Oh and the TVs around the bar in front of us went out 5 minutes after we got there and they just turned them off! Service was slow, the burgers and food were great and the beer was good. I would try it again, but it only gets one more chance to get it right. Burger joints are a dime a dozen. I am being generous with 3 stars because I know it can be better. read more

We went to a large party hosted here and had a good time. The waitstaff were eager to help, the food was all yummy, the beer list good. I liked being able to design my own burger -- it wasn't cheap, but it was what I wanted. Will definitely come back. read more

I'm a fan of burgers and appreciate restaurants that bring in their own unique flavor combinations and have monthly or seasonal burgers. What I especially like about Bad Daddy's is that you can have the best of both worlds- either choose something delicious from their menu or create your own! They also have gluten-free options which I appreciate. They have a road trip type of vibe with license plates and other types of road style decor. The high ceilings and outdoor patio add a nice contrast to what otherwise would feel like a cramped space. The beer selection is great and there are beer recommendations for burgers so people can have a better idea of what drink might pair well with what burger. Overall, it's a very well-done restaurant and one I can see myself visiting often in the future, especially as the summer draws nearer and the rooftop patio opens. read more

Terrible service. 1. Very long wait to get seated 2. Even longer wait for our server to appear 3. Absurdly long time for our food to arrive. 4. Only 1 of the 3 of us actually got what we ordered. 5. I sat, thirsty, with an empty cup, looking for the waitress to get a refill and to ask for the correct meals 6. Ridiculous wait to get the correct food. 7. Long wait to get the bill. Never saw an itemized bill. Just gave her my card so we could try to leave without waiting for her to bring it. So I don't know if I even paid the correct amount. Not a stellar night at bid daddy's. I had the pastrami Ruben burger. The pastrami was very tough. Even had to spit some out. Did have a Bad Betty. Great drink. Possibly my fav. What really hurt was our waiter, Cory. Don't know if he was just having a bad night for some reason, but he seemed grumpy all night. He greeted us(sort of) saying he'd be right back. Love this place. This was our first visit and I had the Tuna Burger with a salad. It was amazing. Also had Tots with Green Chili (Vegitarian Green Chili) and Fried Pickles. The Atmosphere is Great, its relaxing and a great place to watch a sporting event on the TV's both downstairs and upstairs (nice Deck Upstairs). The Service was exceptional and so was the food. Went here with friends and kids and were not able to sit upstairs. Darn! I've been wanting to get up there for a while and it seems I always miss out for some reason or another. I'll update this review when I get up there. Hey, this place is cool. They did one of those inside/outside deals at the bar (I did not sit there, but of course noticed it). Kind of a San Diego thing or like a Lola's in LoHi. You are sitting outside but served by the bar tender inside (to be fair Bar Louie has that too although it's not open often). Can I just say it....I love that! So the food at this place is really interesting. True gourmet burgers, and an incredible concept of "make your own salad or burger". Now...when I say that, I really mean it. You pick all ingredients and they come out fresh and ready to eat. (Hmmm, wonder if they would chop it small for me too? ....next time). The fried pickles are some of the best I've had. Don't seem overly salty, which is usually an issue. Terrible service. Cold food. Sides are now a la Carte and margaritas are no longer on happy hour. Restaurants have taken this opportunity to up charge patrons with Covid when Everyone is struggling. Honestly, it wasn't very good at all. The waitress was very nice so I will give her that, however it is the food where my complaint lies. It honestly did not taste that good at all and the burgers were both so uncomfortably large (stacked to high) that it was very difficult to eat. Even the wide mouth frog would have a hard time with this one ;) Spent $40 on 2 burgers and 1 soft drink. These were not premium burgers at all, in fact my companion had the least expensive burger on the menu. To me that is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS for poor quality food that was difficult to eat. This place was exactly what we were looking for! We were visiting Denver and wanted burgers that were not from a typical chain restaurant. The burgers were huge and they prepared the exactly the way we ordered them. Our server was on top of things and very helpful with the menu. I got a margarita. It was the best one I have had in this trip so far. If you are looking for a great burger, in a fun atmosphere, this is definitely the place you want to go!!! read more

Ok, came in on a Sunday afternoon and sat upstairs. The place was moderately crowded - snowy weekend and people trying to get out. Ordered a create your burger and a create your own salad. Waiter came back 10 minutes after our order to ask if we were ready to order - reminded him that we had already done so. My wife asked about the blueberry beer and was offered a taster. Although the beer was good no one ever followed up with her to see if she wanted to order a glass to drink. Seems to be a pretty big missed opportunity. Waited over 40 minutes for a salad and burger to arrive. Ridiculous! Blamed on kitchen but hard to believe that any kitchen takes that long for a bunless burger and a salad. Place is really nice... but.... weekday lunch hour... not crowded... ordered a fairly plain burger with onion rings and iced tea. Took f o r e v e r to get order. Staff was really friendly and attentive ... kept saying order is on the way.... after 40 minuets... finally. Burger was delicious... but onion rings were not so good... under cooked... doughy on the inside. We come in and usually walk out to the patio out front (Dog friendly!!) Angie had taken care of us the past 3 times and she is an absolute dear! She always has a big smile on her face with wit unmatched. We came shopping for Black Friday and all you could smell was onion rings coming from this place, so we naturally had to have lunch here. I'm glad we got in a little earlier because when we were leaving at about 1pm the waiting area was packed! We shared onion rings to start and then had a burger each. Both the guys made their own and us ladies chose from the menu. I swapped my beef Pattie out for a buttermilk fried chicken one instead, had the magic mushroom. It tasted great. The chicken was really thin but it was fried perfectly so I didn't mind too much. Most of us had sweet potato fries as the side, they were great but quite a few that were either too small or too crunchy. We sat upstairs, had a nice view of the mountains but the main downside was that the restrooms were downstairs so pregnant me had to take the lift or stairs if I needed to go. read more

The staff at Bad Daddy's Centennial is spectacular! They went above and beyond to help me when I placed an order through Door Dash which went to the incorrect store. We encountered four team members while there and each one was friendly and helpful. We have visited this restaurant many times and will continue to go there. I was shocked by how delicious this place was for a burger chain! Under my boyfriend's persuasion we came to this location right as it opened. We were the first people isn't the restaurant. We started with pickle chips! They were super thin and crispy. I appreciated how they were cut long ways. The only grip I have about them is their batter. Though flavorful, they soaked up a lot of the oil and didn't always stay on the pickle. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Burger and the boyfriend decided to go all out and got the Bad Ass Burger. My burger was delicious. The sautéed whole mushrooms added tons of earthy flavor that were further enhanced by the truffle aioli. The arugula added a perfect bit and textural contrast to burger. The meat was a chunkier grind, but I enjoy that in burgers. This was an awesome burger. My boyfriend's burger was huge. It was good, but I can see how the batter-fried bacon can get a little too rich. This burger was good, but definitely needed a spicy sauce or something to set it off. Their fries were good and tasted like it was from fresh potatoes. The portions are huge and we couldn't finish our food. Overall, this is a solid burger place. I am very empathetic to businesses during this time , many are doing their best . I will say that I am very disappointed in the lack of service this afternoon at this location. We arrived a bit before one .. two tables were checking out , three tables on the patio. We were seated immediately and the manager ( I think ) greeted us and brought our beverages. Fast forward 16 minutes . 4 servers passed us , bartender had two people at a table she was taking care of and one server wiped the table right in front of us no fewer than 6 times . We were completely ignored . Finally got up to leave at min 22 of waiting to be acknowledged and was thanked for coming in and to have a nice day ... color me confused . Went here with my husband for lunch today and ordered a salad. When I started eating it, I found this long plastic-like string in it. Manager was walking by, so we pointed it out. First he gave us a very long spiel about how it was a string from corn (it was not. And I didn't have any corn in my salad). I pointed out that there was no corn in my salad and he just kept going about how it probably just was mixed into my ingredients in the kitchen. No. Just say "sorry, let me get you a new salad" and be done. They didn't even take the salad off our bill. Disappointing service. Not sure if the whole chain has started to go downhill or just this location, but I haven't had many great experiences here. On my last visit it took the server/bartender a long time to greet out table. She warned us that they were very busy and that food would take quite a while to come out of the kitchen. We were tired and hungry and thought it would be fine if we had a drink and app. The marg hut the spot but didn't taste as strong as usual. The tater tot app came out in a reasonable amount of time and the bad daddy sauce was tasty as usual. About 45-50 min later we finally got our burgers. My medium burger was sadly very well done. I couldn't get the attention of my server for anything. I finally flagged down a busser who I asked to send a manager over. A few minutes passed and the manager came by (meanwhile my guest was half done with her food). He had the kitchen remake my burger the my original request of medium. Unfortunately when I came back the 2nd time it was still moo-ing (meanwhile my guest was finished eating). I got a box and ended up cooking it at home. Not a great experience as far as drinks, service, or food. Won't be visiting this location again. I give 2 stars because I did have one good experience here with server Kyle. If made right, the marg are amazing, as well as the fried chicken sandwich, the burgers (if they could cook them properly (sad when a burger place can't cook burgers to temp), and the bad daddy sauce is heavenly. Do not bother!!!! First, had a hard time figuring out how to put two tables together to seat 9 people. There was no one else here!! Worst service EVER. Forgot to put in one order and said they were going to rush the burger. 30 min later they just get their burger. And, only after we complained multiple times. This was our first time at this location, this time it was for lunch. The food was great, as it usually is at any Bad Daddy's location. THis experience would have been spectacular, but there were two issues. 1. The waitress took a long time to greet us and take our orders. 2. Our burgers were mixed up, in that one was ordered medium-well, and the other well done. Somehow the wellness of the burgers got switched, but nothing else. Despite these issues, a manager, whose name I cannot recall, took very good care of us, and resolved the issues quickly. It is not that a mistake didn't happen, but that the staff took the initiative and responsibility to make things right. Other than the issues with food, every other aspect was as expected. First off, it smells like a nasty dumpy bar, feels like a bar and performs an unimpressive attempt at making a descent burger. I'm a burger traditionalist and think a quality burger should use fresh ingredients and stand on its own merit. If you like complex and over the top burgers where meat quality is poor, but your burgers are equipped with peanut butter, tomato jam, and rosemary ham, then you might like it. This restaurant should really be called Bad Burger Bar. read more
