Just keep driving. Just ate there and this place is uncontrolled chaos. Ordered the Gyro platter. Was given my drink and said I would dine IN. I sat down and eventually noticed others had table numbers for food to be brought out to them. I was not given one. Went back up and mine was sitting there in a bag. Took it to table. ( luckily it was not a ToGo order) had no salad, no sauce or dressing. The fries were Hot and fresh. The little salad as fine. The Gyro meat was just laying in the bottom of the styrofoam box with fries laying on top of it. No tomatoes, no onions, just a bunch of dried out microwaved meat. Not worth eating. Ate some fries and a little salad and tossed it all. $20.00 I'll never see again. Ambiance needs a good overhaul. Tables are sticky, ceiling has mold growing in multiple spots. For an affordable chain restaurant it is not bad. People I see usually get fish basket and chicken tenders. I tend to go for healthier option which is their chicken Santorini with rice or Gyro. Gyro is bad, meat is hard and dry so as the pita bread. Chicken with rice is not bad, portion kind of small but it is what it is. Service is quick if you want to come in for lunch. Next time I guess I will get fried food instead of gyro read more

Let's start with the front counter employee who was super pleasant but couldn't put down her cell phone during my order. We waited at a sticky, wobbly table for our food and were floored that our $35 meal came out on paper plates and (again) sticky plastic, bagged silverware. I wasn't expecting a plated meal but can we get some Dixie plateware?!?! My beau had rice pilaf with no pilaf. His salmon was overcooked and the salad (bed of lettuce) cost $.50 cent at most!!! No attention to detail, no value added, NOTHING! My veggie gyro was great and worth the price. The bathrooms... Baby Jesus help the explosive diarrhea bathrooms! One of the team members had her home cooked food warmed and enjoyed it with her boyfriend who came for a free meal. Their lovely break-date ended up in an uncomfortable fight but that's none of my business! EVERYONE was glued to their cell phones like it was 9-11 all over again and there was a "I'm just here for this check" vibe throughout. I enjoyed my food at this restaurant. It's located at the top of a hill along with another restaurant. They don't offer many vegetarian options but I didn't find something that I could watch that was tasty and meatless. I ordered the Greek veggie pita with fries. On the oita, it included tzatziki sauce, olives, feta cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. They have a pickup window which was my favorite part so I don't have to get out of the car. I haven't eaten here in years. I was just passing through town with the family. All four meals were good. The breading on the flounder and onion rings were just right...not too thick. All in all, great price points to try the rest of the menu. The young lady's running the front and food were very pleasant and professional. read more

Not a bad place, a bit of a Panera vibe. Salads aren't as large, but cost about the same. They also have higher prices on their Doordash menu than their regular menu. The plastic bags are tamper proof, which means you can't reuse them, which is a huge waste. Overall, I'd rather do salad bar from a grocery store than come back here. This place is great: SUPER clean, well organized, attentive and courteous staff, and food served quick, delicious, and as ordered. We were driving through the area on I-85 and needed a quick bite on the road, but we're vegetarian so good quick options can be tough to find. This place delivered!! Great pita's, served quickly, in a incredibly tidy little restaurant. First time in a Showmar's so we're not sure if we got lucky or if they are all this great, but we're fans. Showmars is a small chain and this particular restaurant is a good one. the gang at the register were knowledgeable and friendly. The whole place did not have a dirty table! the restrooms, as usual, can always use attention, but were better than most. Our food was hot and crispy. My grilled chicken was moist and the bread fresh. The lettuce and tomatoes were particularly fresh and crisp. The french fries were just right. The ice tea is exactly what ice tea should taste like. MayLynn was amazing! Hope she's the manager cause she's kicking gyro butt. So helpful and caring. The place was clean and had updated decor. My gyro was wonderful, stuffed full of meat and veggies with fluffy pita and creamy cool tzaziki. So big I did not need a side to feel full. My sisters salad was delicious. Loved the dressing, zesty and flavorful. The employees were great enough to help with her dietary restrictions. Overall a solid restaurant! read more

Just picked up a to go order and sides were not in the bag. Of course we didn't realize until we got home. We called the restaurant to tell them (because it wasn't cheap). My husband drove all the way back up there to pick up the sides and asked if they could throw in a dessert or something since we had to drive up there a second time and they said no. From before we got there (1430hrs) to after we were done (1500), the social hens waste the business owner's dime while the cooks still work. This might fly if this was the military and you can't get fired, but here? No. Oh no no. If y'all wanna talk about dieting and nutrition, get off your hiney, and get active. And split your "breaks" so I don't have to post this crap on Yelp. I'm usually positive but no. Memories of the Navy surfaced. So no thanks. Great food. Stopped in on a road trip for some flounder...always tremendous at Showmars, but the staff made it an extra special treat! Young lady behind the counter was also my server and she was incredibly delightful, highly responsive to my requests and checked in with me twice to make sure I had everything I needed and kept a smile on her face with everything I observed in the half hour or so I was there. Quality down, prices up. Who serves a gyro without Tzatziki sauce? No one, but Showmars. They tried to tell me it was because I ordered the gyro platter and not the gyro pita. Nice location. Everyone was friendly and accommodating in our ordering. Service 5 . Menu choices are not as broad range as some of the other locations. Restaurant was clean, orderly and inviting. All in all, if you are wanting your standard items such as Super C's, Fish Sandwich, Pita's, Shrimp plate, Gyros then come here. If you are seeking the BBQ go to another location. It's typical Showmars food. Diner-ish. Burgers, salads, fish..etc. I've been to Showmars many times previously. I'm currently on a low carb plan and was trying to figure out what to order to remain compliant. Decided upon the hamburger steak platter with side salad and steamed vegetables. No pita bread. A few minutes after my order I realized that I'd like to have cheese on my platter. Told the young lady at the front whose facial expression seemed to be one of puzzlement and annoyance. Really? Did I just ruin your day? Then, when she told the cook he too had the same look. Oh COME ON! I literally just placed my order less than 2 minutes ago and you're acting like you have to start all over. How difficult is it to just add cheese to hot meat?? Good food. Ranch and onion rings are da bomb! I love the chicken pita but almost everything I have ever ordered is good. They have specials each day. Only reason it has 4 not 5 stars is because the fish and tartar sauce were not great the one time I got them and I got over cooked chicken once. I have been to this particular restaurant around 25 times since March if 2018. So 2 bad experiences out of 25 is not bad. read more
