All around great! House lager was tasty. Service was spot on. Fried pickles will be ordered again. Greek salad was huge with big chunks of feta. I'm a big guy and couldn't finish it. Wow! Great little burger joint! A couple of coworkers and I was working in the Norman area and heard that Bad Daddy's had some good burgers so we decided to try them out. So glad we did too. Came to check out this place! This is definitely worth the trip to Norman! They have some of the best food and service I've ever had! Let me start by saying Rachel was our server and she was great! She made some amazing recommendations and paid close attention to us! We started with Bad Daddy's Amber Ale queso. It is homemade and so tasty! I did have to add a bit of salt. I had the Daddy's Philly-- Chopped angus patty with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños, red peppers, homemade American cheese and garlic Mayo. I also smothered it in the Amber ale queso! So good! Our first time coming here was at lunch time on Friday. It wasn't really busy, but busy. It's an open area with a bar facing you right when you walk in. The decor is done nicely. Our server greeted us right after we sat. He was very nice and accommodating. He explained the menu since we were first-timers. He was patient with questions we had. Nowadays, that's a big deal. I chose a make it your way style burger. Brioche bun, 7oz beef patty medium-well, 2 slices of pepper jack cheese, shoestring onion rings, BBQ sauce abbas jalapenos. The service was ok. My food was great! My son had wax paper from the cheese on his burger. My son's girlfriend's chicken sandwich was not completely cooked. I feel like the waiter could have asked more questions. My son ordered a burger on the menu and what it looked like and said was on it was not so not sure if you have to tell them what you want on it even though that is what the menu says is on it? Oh my goodness, to start, BEST FRIED PICKLES and ranch award!!! We went here for a friend's birthday so we made the drive from Edmond. We are always up for a good burger. One of our friends suggest we try the fried pickles to start and that was the best decision ever. I went thinking I would build my own burger because that is super fun. However, they had some amazing signature burgers that looked too good to pass up. I had the Bistro Burger and my husband had the Smokehouse burger. Both were so delicious. He got mac and cheese as his side and I got the fries and we split them. Some of the best mac and cheese I've had at a place like this and and fries were fantastic as well, with a side of homemade ranch of course! I wish we lived closer because we would most definitely chose this joint as favorite for burger cravings. Reviews highly disappointed us. We started out with the deviled eggs little did we know they were going to come out deep-fried in a hard crust. The eggs were rubbery. Very spicy. The patty melt was not good. The bread was soggy. Too much sauce and barely any onions. The bad ass bacon burger was good, but the bacon was deep fried with a thick breading that was not good. The regular cheeseburger was just par. The tomato slices were way too thick. We won't try this restaurant again. read more

Let me preface this by saying I didn't actually get a chance to eat so I'm giving it three stars for the following reason. The description said the patio had umbrellas and was pet friendly so we started to try it. Unfortunately the patio is facing the south side and at dinner time was in full sun that was not suitable for my wife or I or the dog. Hope to go back and actually be able to eat but they seriously need to consider some sort of shade for that patio. read more

The service was great. Our waitress was attentive and nice. The food came out quickly, but it wasn't good. My wife and I split some bacon queso, a bistro burger and tots. The queso was ok, nothing special. The burger was about as bland as you can get. It's hard to imagine something with so many ingredients having so little flavor. The tots were crispy, so I guess that's good. All in all I'd say we'll never come back here. There are so many gourmet burger joints to choose from. When it's empty, you will find yourself fishing out strawberries with your stabbing straw around the ice. I ordered BBQ smokehouse burger with pork and lots of crispy fried onions on top. I love a good burger, but I don't eat them often. But my daughter had told me several times about how much she enjoyed Bad Daddy's, so when I found myself in Norman early one evening, I had to give them a try. Bad Daddy's is a nicely appointed modern chain in six states. This is their only Oklahoma location. They have a variety of seating arrangements. I was solo, and they gave me a high-rise four-top near the bar. I just had water, but they have a good selection of beers and drinks at reasonable prices. You can order from the menu, or create your own burger or salad. Prices range from $10-14 on the menu burgers. My one surprise was the lack of a bleu cheese burger outside of a create your own option. After much consideration, I went with the Sam I Am, a seven-ounce Angus patty medium with American, rosemary ham, an over-medium fried egg and pesto. I chose cole slaw for my side. The burger arrived reasonably fast. I like that they serve it open-faced so you can add pickle, onion, tomato, lettuce and any condiments. The patty itself had a pink center and good flavor. I might have seasoned it a touch more, but it's already a notch above most other places. It rides the line with being a knife-and-forker. I was initially disappointed that the egg was over-well rather than medium, but was immediately thankful when I picked it up. Because... These are messy burgers. The grease didn't detract from the flavor, but you're going to go through the paper napkin and towels at the table. Considering the price, I think it reasonable to use cloth napkins, but that's just me. The burger was really good. The single slice of rosemary ham was just enough to give you the flavor without distracting from the patty. Same with the pesto. It was served on a brioche bun solid enough to withstand the grease, yet soft enough to not be chewy like a lot of artisan buns. The cole slaw was a nice accompaniment. It was lightly dressed with a touch of bitterness, possibly from radicchio. It's not what I would want with fish, but worked well here. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can always debate who has the best burgers, but Bad Daddy's should certainly be in the conversation. read more

The burger patty was too thick and lacks seasoning; bacon was undercooked and I was charged $1.25 to substitute cheddar cheese for Gouda. If I had been told there was a charge when I asked if u could substitute cheese I wouldn't have done it. The chips and tots tasted like the oil they were fried in and lacked seasoning read more
