Twice here, twice with Taylor as my server/bartender. Recommended by a coworker who used to wash dishes here as a side hustle. It's a smaller place but combo of booths/tables and then a side bar room with an outdoor patio. I think I recall seeing steps going upstairs as well but haven't ventured there yet. My first visit, I did the Heat Wave burger with a bison patty and fruit. The burger was ok, nothing to complain about or rave about. The fruit, however, was a huge helping of goodness. I had one of the craft local beers, red oak amber. Second visit was the Coastal Blackened Salmon Sammie with fruit and the Raleigh Hell Yes beer. This visit was much better than the first and reason why I wanted to visit one more time. I originally was going to give a 3. Their draft options are decent but could use a little more variety. Bad daddy's is a chain restaurant with multiple locations. At this location there is shared parking out front. There are multiple tables & a bar at this location. The times that I have visited the food has been hit or miss. When I tried the salmon teriyaki sandwich it was dry and overcooked. The salad was ok. The all American burger that I got during another visit was fresh but my fries weren't hot. During this visit the bartender was nice & attentive. We were seated in a comfy booth. Great service by our waiter. I had the birthday shake to start. It was amazingly delicious. Then I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. I want to marry this sandwich. It's so delicious. The fries were great too, I love the bad daddy sauce. All in all a great lunch of delicious flavors, fabulous service and a reasonable price. First....the place smells like a damp basement...mildew!!! Second...the floor of the restaurant was so dirty. And when I looked down at the space between the end of the booth and the wall it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Third...for goodness sakes put some felt on the undersides of the legs of the chairs in the bar area. Every time a waiter or a diner dragged a chair across the floor it filled the entire restaurant with a LOUD screeching noise. Fourth.... food was meh. Big fan of Bad Daddy's and have visited all of their locations in the area many times. Their burgers are consistently outstanding and have never disappointed! Our group each rated their burger as delicious and perfectly prepared. This was our first time dining at the Falls of Neuse location in a couple of years. We celebrated a birthday here this weekend and were a bit surprised to see the outdoor sofas in such rough shape. The cushions were dirty and some were falling off the furniture--many were covered in streaks of mud or grease. Yikes. Definitely recommend that you take a hard look at refreshing your patio area. I had lunch at Bad Daddy's, and I had a great experience. I made my own salad, which included romaine lettuce, chicken tenders, mushrooms, onions, cucumbers, shredded cheddar cheese, croutons, avocado, and ranch dressing, and it was so yum! I also ordered a side of fries, and those were delicious. After the delicious salad and fries, I wanted a sweet treat, so I ordered their churro milkshake to go, and it was to die for, I enjoyed it too. Went here with a friend a few weeks ago during the weekday and the host stand was empty. Understandable, it is a pretty slow day but felt like they should have kept an eye or ear out for the front entrance. It was dead inside maybe one other table and someone at the bar, and it still took 5 minutes of peering around the corner and stepping further into the lobby looking at the bartender for someone to greet us and us to be seated. Was seated and I ordered a medium well mac and cheese burger with fries and a drink, and my friend ordered a salad and a drink. Got a sweet tea and that was good, until the refill was made with artificial sweetener :( Food took 25 minutes easy and we were the 2nd table in there. Food takes time to make I recognize but I feel it should not have taken as long as it did for as dead as it was. Friend unfortunately has to leave shortly after food arrived because of time constraints with other plans, and asks for to-go boxes and apologizes to the server saying it is bad timing but that they have to go. Server says no worries, brings the boxes, and just disappears for a solid 10 more minutes. Does not ask if we would like the check, does not come around for refills, nada. Friend has to then go back to the bartender and ask to check out there, for the bartender to call over our server and have her give the checks to us, and almost do the same song and dance again for the server to pick up the card/check. Server was blatantly on her phone and the bartender rolled her eyes at the server before going back to doing her own thing. My friend leaves and I get into the middle of my burger finally only to find out it looks really pink on the inside just straight rare? But perhaps it was the shadow. It's around this time the server comes back around, I ask for my check and a refill of my sweet tea, and the refill is made with artificial sweetener :( read more

Bad Daddy's still rains king on being the best burger place in Raleigh. The one chain restaurant that is consistent across each location. Their French fries are hand cut and are always perfect. Their cocktail had great flavor but I wish it was a little bit stronger. They make their burgers cooked to how you order which is great because it's never over cooked. read more

I had been waiting to try Bad Daddy's for a long time. I took a seat at the small upstairs bar, I was the only one there, a couple of other tables were occupied. Pretty nice that they have an elevator between the two floors. I tried a beer sample or two, but went with the pineapple jalapeno margarita, sounded good after a 3.5 hour drive after a 9 hour day of work. For dinner, I went with the Western buffalo burger with cheese, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce. It as cooked medium, as I requested. I still maintain crispy onions are the most underrated burger topping. The fries were fresh cut, which I really appreciate, but they could have been warmer. I got sides of garlic mayo (aioli) and Bad daddy's sauce for dipping and both were very good. It took a second request to get the garlic mayo though. Servers and bartenders were friendly, some more outgoing than others. The vibe was fun, a little hipster, but a place I would definitely come back to so I could try more of the menu. read more

The was my first time visiting this location and we went on cinco de mayo. They had $2.50 locoritas in all flavors. Our drinks were good and we got a few of them. I also ordered the daddy's Philly with sweet potatoes fries as my side. I just wish the bun was bigger because the meat was all over the place. I have never had a worse piece of salmon in my life. It was dry, inedible, shoe leather. The steamed broccoli was delicious. Just stay far away from the salmon. The server was very nice but it took her a solid 10 - 15 minutes to come to our table at all. Food took forever even though restaurant wasn't busy. It was also freezing cold. Whenever we visit family in the area we stop in here for either a lunch or a dinner. A few times it has been too busy and the wait too long so we've opted to do something else, but when it's not so crazy it's a solid place for a bite. The staff is always really friendly and placing orders is easy enough. The wait for the food to come out can be a bit long but everything is made as you order it, so not super unexpected. If you have little ones that don't like to wait I would recommend that you ask for their meals to come out as soon as they are ready rather than with everyone else's meals. They have upstairs and downstairs seating alongside a mix of tables and booths. The tables are in the middle areas and you may feel a bit crowded at them with all the foot traffic. I prefer the booths myself. Overall: A Solid spot with good food. Wait times can be off putting but if you hit them at a good time it's a must try. read more

We have had great experiences here and our most recent one was just that. We arrived on Saturday afternoon at an off-time and were seated at a high top at the bar where we had terrific Service from the most delightful Gal. She took great care of us! We found brews that made each of us very happy. Both of us got Bistro Burgers. Husband had a beef one while I asked for Turkey. I got Onion Rings and he got Tater Tots. We asked and were granted bad daddy's sauce to go with it all. YUM. I will say I would probably pass on the turkey patty in the future. I had the Shroom Burger and it tasted great. It wasn't overly greasy but had just enough to scream eat me! It came with fries. The fries were decent and the flavor was quite good. My drink today was the house amber beer. It had a slight fruity flavor and cold which I like. However, there are several types to choose from along with mixed drinks, so don't be shy. If you are not into the spirits, Bad Daddys also have non alcohol drinks to include soft drinks and milk shakes. There is parking in front and on the side a huge lot shared by several businesses. I have been to this place quite a few times. It's one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I craving a good burger. My last visit I changed it up a bit and got a fried chicken sandwich, which was honestly better than I expected! Fries are crispy and food is delicious. I met a friend for dinner on 24APR2024 since Bad Daddy's has the best salads. There is no place else that allows you to choose exactly what you want in the salad plus their awesome fried chicken and chipotle ranch dressing. It is decorated with Hollywood nostalgia and would get a better rating if they'd just drop the noise level down about 50%! Service was good relative to the number of people being served. Not too long of a wait on the food once the order is taken. The Daddy's Philly was good but unfortunately the first bite reminded me of Hamburger Helper with cheese with the chopped burger instead of the steak slices. The jalapeños was a nice added touch. Everyone at the table liked their choices as well and the homemade chips and tater tots were very good. Would definitely recommend trying it out but if you're a Philly eater, I'd probably try something else since it really doesn't taste like one. They have the best black bean burger and it's great to have the option of a side salad that you get to create yourself instead of a typical boring lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and onions salad.
