    Delicious classic avocado toast
    Sue B.

Still the best coffee in LV. Today we got the classic avocado toast, as always, but my husband opted for the spicy avocado toast. It's made a little bit different differently. It was good, but he thinks he'll stick with the classic next time. The Pour Over we had was really good called Dancing Duende - a beautiful medium roast from Mexico with some chocolate notes. It was so good that we bought a bag of beans to take home to Phoenix. We bought a blueberry muffin for the road and it was very good also. We'll be back!

Cute coffee shop with great service! I ordered the Hot Earl Grey, and this was the first time I ever got tea in a teapot! It didn't taste super strong (so no acidic taste) which I liked, and I got multiple cups from it since they gave me the whole teapot. You definitely get a bang for your buck and plus, the teapot keeps the tea warm for longer. I came here mainly to journal and didn't realize it was more of a dark vibe in the shop, but thankfully they had some seating outside with more light. It was a good vibe. Being close to my house, I would definitely come back!

    L'Orange Cappuccino

Bad Owl Coffee is such a fun and unique spot, especially if you are a Harry Potter fan! I had passed by many times since it's next door to where I get my nails done, and finally decided to stop in for a coffee before my mani-pedi. I decided to try something different and ordered the L'Orange Cappuccino. Honestly, I had very low expectations that I would actually be able to taste the orange flavor over the coffee -- but wow, was I wrong! It was absolutely incredible. The orange flavor came through perfectly while still blending beautifully with the rich cappuccino. Easily one of the most memorable coffees I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and the cozy themed atmosphere makes the experience even better. I highly recommend trying the L'Orange Cappuccino -- it's a drink I won't soon forget!

    Banana Cold Brew Latte

Drinks: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance/: 5/5 Paid $40 for 5 drinks that were 12 oz each, so...not cheap. And the flavors? They were ok, not worth it, could go to a boba shop and get better matcha but overall flavor on the matcha was decent. The coffee flavor was pretty lacking as well, if I get banana anything, I want BANANA...this was banana light. We also had a Biscoff Cookie latte that had no biscoff flavor. It was just overwhelming strong coffee, which I don't mind, but not what I was looking for. Service was great he gave us suggestions on the menu, and the inside was super cute, dim and intimate. I'd come back for the inside, not for the drinks, I'll try food next time.

Super easy to find, you'd have to be blind to miss it.

I needed a cup of coffee waiting for the post office to open and wanted to try something different so of course Yelp led me to Bad Owl. I'm not sure why it's called Bad Owl .... maybe the owl is just misunderstood? Either way, it's a great place to hang out, get a cup of coffee and a pastry item. This place definitely has a warm coffee house vibe. Plenty of great seating, with some high top seating as well, as well as a great pastry selection, breakfast sandwich selection, and of course coffee to go. I opted for the orange latte, and the croissant cinnamon roll. Now I had never heard of a croissant cinnamon roll before, but let me tell you something. This piece of pastry will change your life in the best of ways! Service is awesome, very friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience very pleasurable. Light, ultra chill music playing in the background makes a very calming environment. Plus they have a little book nook in the back, if you want to enjoy a cup and read some new literature. This has just moved its way into my top 10 coffee places near my house. For sure I'll be coming back! Bottom line? If you are looking 20 I highly suggest Bad owl... In all honesty, it should be named Good Owl.

I always try to be fair and intentional with my reviews, sharing both the highlights and details that matter. After seeing so many TikToks about Bad Owl Coffee, I finally went and it did not disappoint! The space is smaller than it looks online, with cute Harry Potter inspired decor, and while it gets busy, the staff work fast and efficiently. We had the breakfast burrito, croissant breakfast, and avocado toast, along with coffee. Everything was delicious the coffee perfect, the avocado toast fresh, and the breakfast burrito just amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot that nails both atmosphere and quality I'll definitely be back.

Great experience once again! Biscoff latte this time, another amazing latte. And the egg, bacon, avo breakfast sandwich, menu shows it's supposed to be served on brioche bread but I got hamburger buns so I think that's changing. Super good, fresh, filling! Don't sleep on this place!!

Still delish! Bad owl has been here for years in this corner before some of other coffee shops were around! They are the OG. Coffee is great! You won't go wrong with anything. We use to come here for their mochi donuts but they stopped it years ago. However, their other pastries are still delish. We always get their curious Crossaint breakfast sandwich! Sooo good with the runny egg and tater tots on the side! This has been consistent for years! Service was quick! Ordering online is no hassle. Ambiance is chill. Great place to have coffee or study!

My barista was very nice and welcoming. The decor is pretty dark and wooden. You don't get the feel of HP, except for one particular corner. I was actually pretty stoked they were playing 80s dark wave today. All the toasts featured avocado, which I don't care for. But would definitely come back because my Bad Owl's Brew was so good! Loved the butterscotch flavor and no espresso.

Great service. Yummy sandwiches, and a relaxing vibe. Breakfast sandwiches are great and filing. Perfect size spot to come to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with someone or if come and do work. Would definitely return.

Normally I am ALWAYS down for coffee but sadly I had reached dmy. caffeine quota for the day when I wrolled in here for the first time around 4pm. My bestie and I were finishing our girls day celebrating my bday and wanted a beverage for the road trip from Anthem back to my side of town which is Centennial Hills. When you walk in you're embraced with the gentle smooth music in the background and the low lighting which instantly calms your soul. It was pretty quiet and we didn't;t have to wait in line @ all. The young man behind the counter greeted us with a warm smile and immediately asked what we would like to drink. I asked which of the iced teas were caffeine free and he admitted he was brand new and still learning the menu. He could not have been more polite. he asked his more experienced coworker and steered me towards the jasmine tea. I My friend ordered the Green iced tea. While we waited I hit the restroom. The decor throughout is a subtle nod to Harry Potter. Not full blown Disney but you get the HP vibe. The cozy corner with leather chairs and charming book shelf are quite inviting if you wanted to sit and enjoy your beverage by yourself or with friends. The restroom was exceptionally clean and well decorated also. When I came out our drinks were ready. I'm honestly not much of a tea drinker but I needed something to drink for the road and this was a nice treat. The tea was flavorful but not too strong. The cost was about $3.50 each for a large. Standard coffee house prices I assume. The large is a bit on the smaller side compared to SB. IDK if there are any of these on the West side but if there are I'd love to try their coffee next. If oyu visit this place, try to stay and enjoy your drink as well as the well thought out decor and atmosphere.

Loved Bad Owl Coffee! The coffee is excellent, but the real standout for me is the avocado toast. The bread is perfect--soft, fresh, and not hard like so many places get wrong. One of the better avocado toasts around.

Bad Owl is cute little themed coffee shop in Henderson. Pretty quiet and not super busy on a Monday @ 10:30 am. Good place to get some work done if you are closer to the front. The back is a little dark. Plenty of seating. They do have some food and pastry options. Unfortunately only one plant based item. Overnight oats and the avocado toast can be made vegan if you take off the ricotta/egg. I got the Oat-chata Latte. It was really good. A little sweeter of a drink than I normally get but really enjoyed it and nice already having oat milk in it vs having to swap milks and pay an extra fee. I want to go back and try their Orange latte

What are there vegan food options?

Yes. They have vegan overnight oats. You could also order the avocado toast without the egg, I've done that before and it becomes vegan.

Do they have dairy free substitutes like almond milk?

They definitely do! I always get dairy free almond milk and I think it actually tastes better that way!

    Any vegan breakfast items?

    Yes.

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!

On a hospitality note... a simple "yes all drink including plain ice teas do come sweetened, sorry you weren't made aware, happy to remake it" would have made a better experience. It's just a misunderstanding. Possible have staff prompt guest on sweetness level can also alleviate misunderstanding.
