I always try to be fair and intentional with my reviews, sharing both the highlights and details that matter. After seeing so many TikToks about Bad Owl Coffee, I finally went and it did not disappoint! The space is smaller than it looks online, with cute Harry Potter inspired decor, and while it gets busy, the staff work fast and efficiently. We had the breakfast burrito, croissant breakfast, and avocado toast, along with coffee. Everything was delicious the coffee perfect, the avocado toast fresh, and the breakfast burrito just amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot that nails both atmosphere and quality I'll definitely be back.

Still delish! Bad owl has been here for years in this corner before some of other coffee shops were around! They are the OG. Coffee is great! You won't go wrong with anything. We use to come here for their mochi donuts but they stopped it years ago. However, their other pastries are still delish. We always get their curious Crossaint breakfast sandwich! Sooo good with the runny egg and tater tots on the side! This has been consistent for years! Service was quick! Ordering online is no hassle. Ambiance is chill. Great place to have coffee or study!

Great service. Yummy sandwiches, and a relaxing vibe. Breakfast sandwiches are great and filing. Perfect size spot to come to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with someone or if come and do work. Would definitely return.

Courteous barista, cosy space playing Depeche Mode.quick service. No protein but alls good at the bad owl. Coffee complete...

Classic Flight drinks, Classic Avocado Toast w/eggs in the side, and Charmingly Pesto.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, and great coffee. First time there so we ordered the classic flight (espresso, cortada, banana cold brew, & bad owl latte). Banana cold brew was my favorite, my husband ended up ordering the dirty bad owl (includes an espresso shot). Yes we ordered a full cup in addition :). Will definitely come back again when we go back to Henderson!!

Loved Bad Owl Coffee! The coffee is excellent, but the real standout for me is the avocado toast. The bread is perfect--soft, fresh, and not hard like so many places get wrong. One of the better avocado toasts around.

I loved the welcoming and informative service the workers provided! There's such a large selection of interesting drinks. The Ube Latte I received was the perfect balance between the ube flavoring and coffee. The place is a bit dark, but it's quite nice and aesthetic.

Normally I am ALWAYS down for coffee but sadly I had reached dmy. caffeine quota for the day when I wrolled in here for the first time around 4pm. My bestie and I were finishing our girls day celebrating my bday and wanted a beverage for the road trip from Anthem back to my side of town which is Centennial Hills. When you walk in you're embraced with the gentle smooth music in the background and the low lighting which instantly calms your soul. It was pretty quiet and we didn't;t have to wait in line @ all. The young man behind the counter greeted us with a warm smile and immediately asked what we would like to drink. I asked which of the iced teas were caffeine free and he admitted he was brand new and still learning the menu. He could not have been more polite. he asked his more experienced coworker and steered me towards the jasmine tea. I My friend ordered the Green iced tea. While we waited I hit the restroom. The decor throughout is a subtle nod to Harry Potter. Not full blown Disney but you get the HP vibe. The cozy corner with leather chairs and charming book shelf are quite inviting if you wanted to sit and enjoy your beverage by yourself or with friends. The restroom was exceptionally clean and well decorated also. When I came out our drinks were ready. I'm honestly not much of a tea drinker but I needed something to drink for the road and this was a nice treat. The tea was flavorful but not too strong. The cost was about $3.50 each for a large. Standard coffee house prices I assume. The large is a bit on the smaller side compared to SB. IDK if there are any of these on the West side but if there are I'd love to try their coffee next. If oyu visit this place, try to stay and enjoy your drink as well as the well thought out decor and atmosphere.

Bad Owl is cute little themed coffee shop in Henderson. Pretty quiet and not super busy on a Monday @ 10:30 am. Good place to get some work done if you are closer to the front. The back is a little dark. Plenty of seating. They do have some food and pastry options. Unfortunately only one plant based item. Overnight oats and the avocado toast can be made vegan if you take off the ricotta/egg. I got the Oat-chata Latte. It was really good. A little sweeter of a drink than I normally get but really enjoyed it and nice already having oat milk in it vs having to swap milks and pay an extra fee. I want to go back and try their Orange latte

To start Drinks could be a tad bit stronger. I got the banana cold brew latte and Spanish latte and they were just a lil too sweet for us. You could definitely taste the banana, reminded me of a banana pancake. The Spanish latte in my opinion was too bland. Didn't really get much flavor out of it. I understand they were training someone but still. We also ordered some food. It did take quite a while for us to get it. We got the bacon avocado egg sandwich and their Bridgeport burrito. The food most definitely saved this review. It was delicious.

I have been to the southwest location, but I decided to try the southeast location in Henderson... I ordered the Breakfast Croissant with Avocado and the Butter Brew. Both were delicious. It has a semi Harry Potter theme but not really so don't believe everything that you see in social media. It is a really cute place though! I encourage people to look around, especially by the bookcase. They are really nice as well! Very good customer service.

I had the cookie butter latte and some avocado toast that had some kind of cilantro sauce. OMG it was amazing. I left out the chili flakes though. The people were nice. It was very comfortable there.

Now this is a cool place. Dark colors and wood, cool employees who really know their stuff, and just an all-around relaxing but mysterious vibe. First off, I don't drink coffee, but I could easily see myself hanging out here or getting some food or tea. I stopped in that morning to get my dad some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I told the employee that I had no idea about coffee or tastes but that my dad likes light roasts, and he helped me pick out a bean and explained all of the nuances between that one and others that they had. He explained that they do a drip system so it would take a bit longer and I appreciated the heads-up. I also ordered the buns of power breakfast sandwich, and the total came to about $20 which I think is pretty pricey. It took about 10 minutes for the coffee and sandwich to be made, which again, a little bit longer than I would've thought but at least everything was made from scratch. My dad loved both the coffee and the sandwich, so it was completely worth the wait and the price. I think I may stop in here to get some whole beans for a gift!

Ask the Community - Bad Owl Coffee

What are there vegan food options?

Yes. They have vegan overnight oats. You could also order the avocado toast without the egg, I've done that before and it becomes vegan.

Do they have dairy free substitutes like almond milk?

They definitely do! I always get dairy free almond milk and I think it actually tastes better that way!

    Any vegan breakfast items?

    Yes.

We ordered the Ube Cake online, and the slice hit the spot perfectly. The cake looked beautiful - nice tall layers of soft, moist purple ube sponge cake with thick white cream filling, a creamy yellow custard-style center, and finished with whipped cream on top. The ube flavor was well-balanced: that signature nutty, earthy sweetness without being overly sweet. I've had great home-cooked Filipino ube desserts before. While this is clearly a fusion bakery version, it still captured the comforting, celebratory vibe that ube brings to Filipino tables. It reminded me of the festive sweets you'd find at family gatherings or parties back in my wifes home country. The online ordering was convenient, but the pickup instructions could have been better. The pickup area is on the same side as the drink pickup, which caused a little confusion during a busy time. Service was otherwise fast and friendly, the bakery was clean and well-stocked, and prices are reasonable for the portion size. If you're in the Henderson/Las Vegas area and looking for a quick ube fix or any of their other Asian- and Filipino-inspired pastries, this spot is worth a stop. The ube cake was definitely the highlight for me. Would definitely grab another slice next time I'm craving something purple and delicious!
