Lived in Round Rock for 12 years, have been downtown a lot and was amazed by the rich history. Been bar hopping before but it was cool to visit the 4 we did and learn about the spooky history and stories about the buildings and check out some new places. It was a little tough to hear some of the details/stories since some of the bars were busy and had live music or a dj....but its a bar, what do u expect on a Friday night. probably wont do it again but fun thing to do and would recommend it if you haven't done it before. read more

Overall I loved hearing the ghost stories and found it interesting. It did irk me that some stories presented as fact were a little off. Facts I was able to verify by simply googling. For example, one story told us about a woman who fell from the Majestic theater 16 years ago on Halloween night. A quick google search will tell you it actually happened 13 years ago during the first week in October. Minor discrepancies that irked me and led me to doubt other things passed as fact, but overall I would absolutely recommend the tour. read more

I've been on a lot of ghost tours around the world, and this one was definitely one of the most fun tours. The tour guide was super into it and had silly spooky music playing while we were walking which my fiancé loved. They also gave us electromagnetic field (EMF) detectors, which was new to me and pretty badass. The tour was also really informative and the guide liked acting out the creepy stories. This ghost walk was great. Our tour guide, Laura Tomorrow, was an excellent story teller and truly cares about San Antonio and it's spooky history. I always like to get out and see the historic sites when I visit a place. I can't think of a better way to do it than walking around and listening to ghost stories from a local. There's non-ghost related content throughout the tour, too. I saw a bar that Teddy Roosevelt frequented that's still in business today, a hotel built by a secret society of odd fellows, an historic hospital turned into a hotel. All kinds of great stuff. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting San Antonio who wants a tour of the historic sites that's more fun and interesting than the average historic walking tour. read more

I think this is a great tour to take whether you are visiting from out of town, or are a local! They give each pair their own EMF reader, which makes the experience more interactive. My husband and I went on the haunted pub crawl during our honeymoon but they weren't "pubs" they were night clubs. We had an okay time- the stories were well-told and our host was very much in the spirit (so to speak) but I was hoping for something a bit more classic feeling. 30 min at each night club with strangers wasn't what I had in mind. 1 was an legit pub with some serious presidential history- give me a tour of those and we're set! For the owners, we do a brewcycle in Portland with friends and they only allow 25 minutes per pub- I'd follow something along those lines and try to class up the stops or else don't call them "pubs." thx read more

We are paranormal buffs lol ( which means, we sit at home and watch all the ghost hunting shows lol) we love it all though. We've been here about a year and have never been downtown at night or on a weekend. So I booked this tour because it had great reviews.....it did not disappoint. We had Laura Tomorrow and she was amazing. She knew her stuff and was very informative about the history around the Alamo. I was too busy snapping pics of everything so I didn't really listen to the stories but we had a great time. We didn't follow with the pub crawl but now I wish we would have. The tour starts by meeting at bar 1909 inside the indigo, which is kinda creepy lol the hotel part, not the bar. You meet your guide, get your EMF readers and your group walks around the square that circles the Alamo, which is pretty cool. There was so many ppl out there though, that's the only thing I would have changed and I would've brought cash to tip her. Great Job guys. read more

My husband and I do a ghost tour everywhere we go on vacation. This vacation our 10 year old daughter wanted to do a ghost tour with us. This tour was perfect and it worked out that we got an private your because it was a slow weeknight! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about San Antonio's history. He answered our questions thoroughly (we asked many of them!). The stories he told were appropriate for children (I'm sure if it was adults only, he would have made them more gruesome.) That was such a waste of time and money. Our tour guide was boring, kept talking about himself and didnt really give us too much information about the history of Austin. It was hard to hear bc he "had a sore throat" yet he didn't use his microphone thing. We went to okay bars and as soon as we would warm up to the bar it was time to go. In between bars our tour guide was playing on his phone or would dissapear then come back. I was wondering if hs ditched us or should we ditch him. Was great at the beginning then came to a screeching halt when we were taken to a GAY bar! I've done 3 ghost tours with this company but, never have been taken to this night club so this was our last tour. Left me scratching my head wondering what the heck does a gay bar have to do with a ghost tour. Apparently that bar has suddenly become a paranormal hot spot within a few years! I did this tour with my boyfriend and it was excellent. Laurie was our tour guide and she kept us very entertained with her spooky stories.

Uh, so this is awkward- we went to the tour, it started on time and everything seemed awesome, but then it started to rain about a quarter of the way through the tour. Of course that's not their fault, but it's a completely outdoor tour in downtown, so it was basically awash (no pun intended). They told us they would give us a refund or just reschedule for another day, "our choice." So I told them I'd love to just reschedule because it seemed like it would be an awesome tour but they told me they'd rather I just get a refund from Groupon and then repurchase the ticket on their website. This seemed sketchy but he explained to me that most of the money from the ticket sale goes to Groupon when the ticket is purchased through Groupon. I get why he would want us to purchase from his website but it seemed ethically questionable. Other than that, and other than them telling us we weren't allowed to record, despite being on public land, from what I did experience from the tour it seemed awesome. The guide was knowledgeable and told us extremely detailed and interesting stories about downtown San Antonio. The guide also furnished everyone with a "EMI/Ghost Meter", which was supposed to tell us if a ghost was potentially nearby. read more

I was lucky enough to score a Groupon for this tour and I'm so glad we discovered this tour! Wolf is the tour guide and he is a character! He really brings the stories to life surrounding the hauntings at the Alamo and the surrounding area. He is very theatrical and dramatic, but at the same time very informative and interesting! San Antonio was so much more fun to tour with Wolf as our guide One of the best things we did on our vacation. Whether you live in the area or are visiting, you should really do this tour. Laura Tomorrow was an amazing tour guide!! She was very knowledgeable and was very entertaining in her story telling. We went on the tour because my 7 year old is obsessed with the paranormal and she had a blast! She rarely left Laura's side and asked her plenty of questions. Laura seemed more than happy to answer her questions to the best of her knowledge and never once seemed annoyed. She even kept reassuring us that she wouldn't let my daughter pass her as we walked (we couldn't keep her by us she wanted to hear everything Laura had to say)! I only wish we could have had a little bit longer to explore each location, after Laura told the story we were quickly rushed to the next location. I get we were on a schedule but 2-3 minutes to explore the area and get a few pictures ( my daughter has an Instax polaroid camera) would have been awesome!
