It's real salt of the earth people trying to give you the best experience possible. That being said Duck Inn is exactly what a Supper Club is. The atmosphere is perfect (the bar booths make you feel like you're in Goodfellas) The decor is perfect with ducks being featured. It's cozy and homey. The food is solid, my crab stuffed mushrooms were amazing, key lime pie like Grandma used to make (clearly not bought). My steak made to order with the "fancy butter" was delicious. This is another place where I feel like people sometimes have unrealistic expectations. It's a supperclub it's not Carnevor or Keen's. Are the steaks good? Absolutely. Is it going to be the best piece of meat you've ever eaten? Maybe. Depends where else you've eaten and how much of a home chef you are. Be real about your expectations. Speaking of expectations our server Shannon exceeds all expectations. My girlfriend and I both said we couldn't remember the last time we had a server that good. Personable, helpful, funny and efficient. The only typical supperclub thing that was missing is that classic ringleader larger than life bartender but the bar staff was young and capable so they may just grow into it.
