Amazing service! My…read moreson was driving to So. Cal to spend a week with his brother before the brother got married. Just a carefree week of bachelor brothers hanging out. He was supposed to drive there on Saturday and get to So. Cal before dark. However, he left after dark. He passed Los Banos (Route 33 exit) close to midnight and his engine started running really rough and it was losing power. He limped to the next exit, at less than 25 mph, turn around, and come back to Los Banos. We picked him up around 1:30 and got back home at 3AM. At 8AM (Easter morning), we started calling mechanics in Los Banos. Of course, we used Yelp and sorted by ratings. We went down the list and left messages for everyone. We just prayed that someone would be willing to work on a holiday. Jesse was the only one who answered the phone. We explained our predicament. He agreed to help if we could get there by 10. He had a family picnic planned. My son's car was parked about 2 miles from Jesse's shop. We were able to get it running and over to the shop before 10AM. Jesse found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary parts, and had the car fixed in about 3 hours. He charged a very reasonable amount. My son made it to So. Cal before dark (a day late), and Jesse still got to spend the rest of the day with his family. If anyone I know ever needs a good mechanic in the Los Banos area, I would highly recommend Jesse and Advanced Service & Repair. Thank you, Jesse. God bless you.

He has shown more generosity and kindness than I could have asked for. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to work on their car! He is genuinely a great guy. He also resolved the car issue in a timely manner.

I Searched for places to install my spare tire and found Ramon's on Google maps. My car runs a uncommon tire size so I didn't expect any shops to have it but Ramon's had a used set of tires that were a close size. Rudy and the crew saved me from having to run my compact spare and got our family back on the road quickly.. Friendly crew and quick service. Thanks again Rudy for checking your stock for some tires and getting us back on the road quickly. We arrived in LA with only 1.5hrs added to our travel time.

After coming to a stop and looking under the van I was crushed to see my axle hanging off from where my newest CV joint was recently replaced. I did a quick google search for a mechanic and started to call down the list. Mechanic #1 was Ramon's, but no one answered. Mechanic #2 said my car was too old and to try Mechanic #3, who said it would be four days before he could look at my car and recommended Mechanic # 2. I called #2 again and pleaded for help and was put on hold "to ask the manager." While on hold, I get a call from an unknown number with a 559 area code and decide to pick it up. It was Ramon. "I'm sorry to have missed your call. How can I help?" I shared my story and he said he might not have the part today given the van's age, but the least he could do is have a look. As the tow truck pulls onto Ramon's lot, he hops onto the flatbed, examines the situation, then assured us he would be able to help! He personally supervised the repair and test drove our vehicle. In the end, he handed me a write up of what he found to share with my mechanic at home. Our entire ordeal from breakdown to back on the road lasted three hours. I'm going to buy Ramon a clock for Christmas, because he only charged us for maybe an hour's worth of work instead of taking advantage of vulnerable and weary travelers. Ramon has restored my faith in humanity's ability to help one another in times of need and I cannot thank him and his crew enough. If you live in Mendota, or are passing through and have the same unfortunate luck as me, then I would highly recommend Ramon's for honest and excellent work at an amazing and fair rate!

My car died and the battery would only hold a 39 percent charge. I didn't know you never put my battery back into my car ( the one you said the auto parts store had over night to charge) and I had to purchase a new battery rather than have my battery which was less than 9 months old in the car and if it was defective it would have been replaced under warranty which is why I called and texted many times during the after noon but could not wait any longer and had to spend 300 dollars. You owe me at least 300 dollars plus a list of items.....
