Fancy flights brought me in the door and it quickly became a favorite weekend hang-out for my partner and I. They started doing flights of flavored coffee drinks a few weeks back and they're just a delight. So delicious. The fancy flights are... well... fancy. Tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, churro, and others. All of them are incredibly fun and delicious. I can't honestly choose anything else - it's an adventure every time and it quickly vaulted to my favorite coffee spot without exceptions. Beyond these, their food is fantastic! The feisty breakfast sandwich is incredibly good. Get it on the croissant with sausage and cheddar and you're in for a real treat. The spicy breakfast burrito is also quite good, as well as the cali breakfast sandwich. Nothing bad here by any means. Staff is always super nice and there are plenty of plugs if you want to work there for a bit while enjoying their delicious coffees (or coffee flights). Decided to stop by here on my way home. First impressions. It's a cute space. I like the atmosphere. There's tables and couches for seating (also seating outside but it's cold right now). The whole space sort of reminded me of the cafe at the DIA. Coffee is okay. I paid $7 (rounding up, including tax) for a medium Vanilla iced coffee with oat milk. I saw on the menu, the food (salads, sandwiches, panini's) were up to $10.99+. Kinda expensive. The menu also showed scones and muffins under $5 and there's also choice of fruit smoothies. As a coffee connoisseur, I had to make a stop here while hanging out in St. Clair Shores! Let's dive in! Drinks - A huge selection of drinks here! I went for a light and summery black tea with lavender lemonade since I had already had my coffee! It was absolute beautiful as seen in the photo but also absolutely delicious! The tea was perfectly steeped, the lemonade tasted fresh and not like the powder, and the addition of the lavender was perfectly soft and simple. I think I could drink a gallon of this! Food - I had not anticipated getting food but they gave my friend and I some butternut squash soup since they were closing. We were so lucky they did because it was fantastic! It was fresh and inviting - like a warm hug! Ambiance - The location has great parking and is easy to get to. The interior is beautiful and spacious. Very calm. I took off a random Friday in January and wanted to start my morning with a coffee, a book, and a relaxing atmosphere. I definitely found all of that here. Parking was as there is a lot behind the building. There is an entrance to the café off of the parking lot, which was also nice considering the snow. I had a breakfast sandwich, which was tasty, but the fancy coffee flight really was the star of show! A great European cafe' feel! After spending a good chunk of the summer in Spain and Argentina , I've been missing the little cafes and coffee shops I would go to daily. With friendly workers who know your name, pastries made on site and coffee/tea that makes leaving your kitchen worth it.... I feel that vibe here. The food was delicious - all made on the premises. I'm so excited to leave a review for this cafe! I was lucky to have my bridal shower here and I loved it so much I came back the next day for their coffee flights! It was so charming and cozy! Everyone was super sweet and helpful! I had my first mom spill haha and she was so nice she helped me clean up and remade my drink. I really enjoyed all the food. My favorite were the scones! Full of flavor! I've been on a search for coffee flights and this place didn't disappoint! Not only that but they have lemonade flights too! There are so many options but you can't mix the fancy flight with the regular. But that's ok! They are all so tasty! I say if you are looking for a nice place to relax this is it! I went here for a second time after having a less than perfect first visit. And let me tell you, they over exceeded my expectations! We had a wonderful conversation with the owner who fully restored my faith in this coffee shop. He picked everything out for my husband and myself, and I might have a new favorite coffee drink! It is called a Miel I didn't think I would like it since there is a dash of cinnamon, but I was wrong. It was literally so good and I will be looking to order that everytime. Hey, if you're a food product business and if you're looking at EOS Cafe in St Clair Shores as a potential retailer for your product, please be very careful about the manager, for she has a negative attitude when she answers the phone and you follow up on what she and the owner think of your product. She growls and get annoyed which is not good for business. That's what happened to me. I was calling her to follow up on her on what her opinions about Raphael's Donuts were and what her decision is on carrying my Donuts and I did it kindly and politely and professionally and she did her nasty attitude towards me. By the way, last Monday, August 29th, I dropped off a sample of my diabetic-safe, allergy-safe gluten free vegan Raphael's Donuts for her to try and she was nice and kind and professional to me as well as excited about RD so her flip in attitude was surprising uncalled for to me. I reported her to the owner via FB and she will talk to the manager. The manager's attitude should be checked out and adjusted, otherwise that attitude of hers which was unprofessional and uncalled for and out of character as an manager for a coffee cafe will cost the owner her business and her clientele and current and potential vendors. As a business owner with revolutionary healthful donut products that are destined to be sold in retailers and are sold in retailers, we expect respect from potential retailers like the Cafe from the owner to the managers and employees. read more

First and last time here. This coffee house was on my list of places to try for months. With a week off work, I now had time to give it a go. Big mistake. My first impression was that it was bigger than I expected and a great place to work on your laptop and read a book. The menu was well lit near the counter. A worker didn't help us right away, but that was okay. We were given time to browse the menu to figure out what we wanted. I really only wanted a latte. My go-to coffee shoppe is closed on Monday's so I wanted to try something new elsewhere. After a few minutes the worker did help me. "Are you part of our rewards?" "No, I am not." This was my first time here and I would have been more than happy to join the rewards program if I felt welcome or was even offered. The worker didn't tell me where to stand so I sat at an open table. The worker delivered drinks and other lunch items to other people. By the time she made my drink she said "Oh, it's over there on the counter." The latte was the worst I've ever had. Almost flavorless and certainly a waste of $4. I felt like service was definitely lacking. If others were getting their drinks delivered to their table, why didn't I get the same treatment? I felt unwelcome from the get-go. Won't be returning at all. The sandwiches and desserts looked good but service is what keeps me coming back, so that won't happen. read more

It has all the ingredients of a fantastic coffee shop! Excellent interior design that leans toward a millennial appeal. It has a menu board that's easy to read but does not list lattes and the flavors they offer. This is important because if you don't ask, you may miss out on some fantastic flavors and settle for something less. One beverage I encourage all latte lovers to try is the pumpkin spice latte. Eos uses real pumpkin purée, along with their own special mix and spicing. It's fabulous in taste! In addition, service is good here and I liked that they invited us to join their membership. Bonuses come at $50 spent - not a bad deal! As for the crowd I see here, they enjoy a shop with a good layout and various types of seating (lower tables, higher tables, etc.) as they work on their computers or pray to their cellphones. There are those who come to chat with friends but this shop's layout is welcoming, and with peppier music playing, further trendiness is added to the atmosphere of Eos. Eos is not a coffee shop that mixes the old with the new. It is more trendy, neat and in order, clean, and without the chalkboard menus you see in the classic style coffee outlets. Nevertheless! Eos is well-worth any coffee lover's visit because they DO care for the customer, make great beverages, provide great service, and have a great store layout and appearance! So what if it leans to the trendy and appeals to the millennials! I'd come to Eos anytime because it does great at what matters most! It took my sister to decide and I made the visit to Eos again. I feel this shop has a magnetic pull on me, which was sealed when I tried the peppermint mocha latte! Like the pumpkin spice latte, it has natural ingredients - natural chocolate and the peppermint sure tasted like it was made in the shop. Shout out to the staff! I was having a very, very rough day long before I went to order my coffee here... cherry on top was my phone not loading which resulted in me not being able to pay promptly. A man came in to help (may have been the owner?) and ended up comping my whole order because he could see how hard of a time I was having trying to control my frustration with my silly phone and manage my toddler at the same time. EOS is also a fantastic place to study, get some work done, or grab a coffee with a friend. The atmosphere is calm and soothing. I've never once had a bad experience. read more
