    House made Chai Tea
    Kaylyn N.

Super cute coffee shop! They offer lots of milk alternatives for about $1 extra. The employees were super kind and welcoming. It feels like a little family inside even though it's a bunch of strangers. I ordered a small house made iced chai tea. With (optional) tip and oat milk, it came out to be around $7. The small is 12 oz. It's such a cute cafe and I highly recommend.

Went in yesterday and ordered an iced latte. As I wait, I watch the girl make the latte, then proceed to dump half of it down the sink so she can fill the cup with ice. I don't know about others, but I do not drink an iced latte for the ice. I cried a little bit on the inside as I drank my watery drink... Probably won't be back after that.

Cool little cafe, got my food to go, had the club sandwich, which was delicious, and the scones are fantastic, will definitely be going back

The establishment was immaculately clean. And the staff was very kind and accommodating. During this visit, I checked out the chai tea iced latte with oat milk. I have to say it wasn't the best chai tea that I've ever had but it wasn't the worst. I have to say this place is an excellent location to study and relax as well as meet with some friends. I didn't enjoy the abundance of books that they had to offer For folks to read as well as the outdoor seating area, which would be perfect on warm days.

    The frozen caramel drink. Delicious!

I really wish I could come here more often for breakfast/brunch/coffee. I love the vibe and atmosphere inside of the restaurant. I wouldn't say they're the fastest for service and always seem like they're just one person short from having a full staff to make them a little more time-efficient.

Fancy flights brought me in the door and it quickly became a favorite weekend hang-out for my partner and I. They started doing flights of flavored coffee drinks a few weeks back and they're just a delight. So delicious. The fancy flights are... well... fancy. Tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, churro, and others. All of them are incredibly fun and delicious. I can't honestly choose anything else - it's an adventure every time and it quickly vaulted to my favorite coffee spot without exceptions. Beyond these, their food is fantastic! The feisty breakfast sandwich is incredibly good. Get it on the croissant with sausage and cheddar and you're in for a real treat. The spicy breakfast burrito is also quite good, as well as the cali breakfast sandwich. Nothing bad here by any means. Staff is always super nice and there are plenty of plugs if you want to work there for a bit while enjoying their delicious coffees (or coffee flights). This is a clear favorite - do yourself a favor and check it out.

One of the best coffee places in the area. The food is amazing and the coffee is great. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is really helpful and nice.

Medium vanilla iced coffee with oat milk

Decided to stop by here on my way home. First impressions. It's a cute space. I like the atmosphere. There's tables and couches for seating (also seating outside but it's cold right now). The whole space sort of reminded me of the cafe at the DIA. Coffee is okay. I paid $7 (rounding up, including tax) for a medium Vanilla iced coffee with oat milk. I saw on the menu, the food (salads, sandwiches, panini's) were up to $10.99+. Kinda expensive. The menu also showed scones and muffins under $5 and there's also choice of fruit smoothies. The guy at the register was nice for the couple seconds of interaction and me looking at the menu Overall, cute space to study, meet with friends, go on a date, or to hang out by yourself, etc.

    Black tea and lavender lemonade!
    Maggie C.

As a coffee connoisseur, I had to make a stop here while hanging out in St. Clair Shores! Let's dive in! Drinks - A huge selection of drinks here! I went for a light and summery black tea with lavender lemonade since I had already had my coffee! It was absolute beautiful as seen in the photo but also absolutely delicious! The tea was perfectly steeped, the lemonade tasted fresh and not like the powder, and the addition of the lavender was perfectly soft and simple. I think I could drink a gallon of this! Food - I had not anticipated getting food but they gave my friend and I some butternut squash soup since they were closing. We were so lucky they did because it was fantastic! It was fresh and inviting - like a warm hug! Ambiance - The location has great parking and is easy to get to. The interior is beautiful and spacious. Very calm. There were books you could read, jewelry, but also lots of space to sit and work! Service - I loved the drink and soup but the service honestly pushed the experience over the top! The workers were helpful but more importantly, very fun! We joked around and chatted which made the experience much more enjoyable! I will definitely be back! TL;DR - this place is amazing, delicious drinks, fresh food, stellar service, 100% going back!

Many different types of flights available - hot or cold!

Coffee is not the best. Loved the inside. Polite staff. If they could improve upon the coffee this place would be excellent.

The menu is diverse and has something for everyone -- from classic comfort dishes to creative twists that keep things exciting. We ordered the cinnamon French toast, which came with an unsuspecting twist of apple caramel flavors that elevated it to a whole new level. The balance of warm cinnamon with the sweet, slightly tart apple caramel was incredible. We also had the Nutella Waffle, and it was absolutely amazing -- perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously topped without being overwhelming. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. Gina's Cafe delivers fantastic food, quick service, and a welcoming atmosphere all at a price that feels fair. We'll definitely be back!

Ordered two egg skillet, spinach, green peppers and whole wheat toast, large Greek salad with feta on the side, turkey Rueben, side of Michigan apple and raisin, one slice of each. $49.82 The Michigan apple and raisin toasts are good. The turkey reuben is nicely toasted, would be much better with some better deli meat. The Greek salad is okay. Tomatoes look ripe, but aren't. Romaine is a bit old on a few pieces. The two egg skillet are good for Mom. Eggs are poached perfectly, hash browns are well done. Just right for her. Service is good.

We had a very nice server but he couldn't keep our orders straight at all. Multiple times he gave food orders to the wrong person. Thank goodness the bills were correct. The food was ok. I had a Maurice salad which was skimpy. No eggs, probably one green olive cut on it, a couple of sweet pickles. There was ham and turkey on the salad though. I was trying to give a great experience to 2 co-workers, one from Canada, for a holiday treat. First, the decorations for Christmas--where are they all? Used to take your breath away in the past, adding to the old fashioned ambiance of Christmas. Secondly, the small shops, and gift shop--gone--open doors to those areas, lights out, very sad. Thirdly, I made a reservation to be seated in the lounge. Oops--the waiter had seated others there, and did apologize, and we were in a room all by ourselves. The waiter---unsure what the issue was---no appropriate server etiquette, mistakes, very very long wait to be acknowledged, things forgotten, and he kept bending over to tie his shoelaces. Hand hygiene please! That was not apparent. To be transparent, we were told there was a group of 20 in the back room, and another group of 12 expected. OK. but ONE waiter? The chef/owner EMILY (very kind) was cooking, waiting tables, serving, bringing out forgotten things, and being a bartender--it was a mess-- Food--OK--not what was expected from the Ardmore. We'll leave it at that. Dinner took 3.25 hours, with a lot of that just sitting and waiting. Drinks were also sub par. There was no music (piano) as anticipated either. Shall I chalk it up to a bad night? I think if you know there are larger parties, one should have the appropriate number of waitstaff, and not overbook casual diners that won't be taken care of. I spent half the night apologizing to my friends as I chose the Ardmore. We all took home 2/3 of the entrees we had, and I tossed mine. For the expense, and the expectation, and the food quality, it was so very disappointing. Not sure I'll give it another try. I recommend investing in a few good servers, a hostess who knows the ins and outs of parties and reservations, attention to detail, (to include the tattered and torn American flag out front, which my Canadian friend commented on,) and allowing the chef to do her job---

I suppose, since this cafe is located in the basement of the county courthouse, they are only here as part of their job, escorting persons in fashionable prison garb to and from the restrooms. This is my first visit. OK, so this cafe is located in the basement of the County Courthouse, more as a convenience to the daily customers and employees of the courthouse. It's a fast food joint, with daily specials. As Cookie S. noted, burgers -n- fries, sandwiches and salads, probably a soup of the day. I ordered the Cous-Cous special with fatoush. From what I learned, the cous-cous looks like fried rice, but it's really cracked wheat ( a healthier choice) The dish was served with lentil soup drizzled over top, and the salad on the side. The salad dressing tasted of vinegar and lime, a nice combination. I spoke with the chef and found him to be a personable man, and the cashier was very accommodating as well. There was a nice painted mural on one wall depicting a view of the Mount Clemens riverfront from a perspective of the Fire Department across the way. Today's visit was nice, as I stopped in around 10:30, before the typical lunchtime rush of lawyers, litigants and jurors. If I need to conduct business here again, I would consider stopping in for a light meal. Carry-out is available. Free wi-fi.
