Bagel Babes had a popup near Early Bird Coffee and my cousin and I stopped by their tent so we could pair a bagel sandwich with our coffees. I ordered The West which has scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, and chipotle mayo. I picked a jalapeño cheddar bagel to pair with it. Oh my goodness - what a delight! My bagel sandwich had turkey bacon in it, and I was only able to eat half before I got full, but you bet I enjoyed the rest of it later. My cousin actually finished hers. She got the same thing but on a sesame seed bagel. Their main truck is over by Eightball Coffee, but their tent by Early Bird is apparently there pretty frequently. I live closer to Early Bird, so if I have a hankering for a good breakfast bagel sandwich, I know where to find one now. read more

Stopped by this Saturday morning because I had seen them on socials and have been wanting to try. Parking is easy, you can just park in the parking lot that they are located in. If it is full, there is street parking. The girl that took my order was very friendly. I ordered the all American (I think that is what it was called) that comes with bacon, egg, and cheese. You get to choose what bagel you would like - I chose the jalapeno cheese one. You also can choose scrambled, over easy, over medium for your egg. I went with scrambled. They also offer if you'd like potatoes on the side. They give you a beeper to let you know once your order is ready. It didn't really take long, they were quite busy as well. Looking for a hearty fast breakfast downtown and happened across Bagel Babes. Located in the parking lot of 8 ball coffee so you can grab breakfast and a beverage. The experience is contactless with a QR code and then they text you when it's ready so no actual babes lol. Anyway there are multiple bagel sandwich options with eggs any way, bacon or sausage with cheese. I ordered an everything bagel with eggs and cheese. Parking was a bit tricky since they only share about 3-4 spots with another vendor, and the rest of the parking belongs to Eightball Coffee, so that's something to keep in mind. Their station is very clean/well kept Once I parked, ordering was easy. They have a few ways to view the menu--a QR code and a TV displaying it--which was helpful since I arrived right around brunch hour and wasn't sure what to get. The staff was friendly and patient while I asked a few questions, and I finally decided on the **Mediterranean bagel**. OMG--so good. It was loaded with veggies and meat, and I'm pretty sure it had both cream cheese *and* red pepper hummus, which made it incredibly flavorful. It was filling and honestly one of those meals I kept thinking about for the next two days. The wait to order was short, and I got my food in about 10 minutes, which felt reasonable. At around $12, it's a bit on the pricey side for a bagel, but the portion and flavor made it worth it. I do wish they opened a little earlier on weekdays because I'd definitely stop by more often. We ordered a Westerner on jalapeno cheddar- it came with scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon (I opted out of the chipotle sauce). We also ordered a Mad Turkey on sesame which was stuffed with bacon, turkey, cream cheese, and crispy lettuce. We also ordered the potatoes. The sandwich was good. The filling were cooked and seasoned well, the bagel had a nice spicy kick, but the bagel just felt dry. Bagels should be soft and chewy. I don't want to chug my coffee to get it down. Two sandwiches, one order of potatos, and tip was $35. For that, I want to really love the bagel. read more

Bagel Babes is the bomb! This new food truck is located in the Southtown area in the same parking lot as Eight Ball Coffee. They are open from 7am - 3pm or until sold out (whichever comes first). For my first time visiting I had their El American Bagel which has cream cheese, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, sunny side up egg and house sauce. The bagel was HUGE and very filling. I would've liked a little less cream cheese, but that's just me! My husband ordered their Wild Alaskan which included cream cheese, smoked salmon, red onions and dill. It was not as large as mine, but equally is filling and delicious (he devoured it in minutes). Bagel Babes is such a cute little food truck, perfectly decorated and located right next to 8 Ball Coffee (bonus points for grabbing a coffee while you're there!). You can use their tables if you're purchasing from them, but if not, there's not really a spot to sit and enjoy your bagel, so keep that in mind. The menu is limited, but the options they do have are creative and appealing. I tried one of their bagels, and while it was tasty, the texture felt more like focaccia bread than a traditional bagel. Pinche cruda guey. Needing to head back to the Austin area, opted to stop by here to try them out as I've been craving a good bagel and we needed something to help soak up the peda from the previous night. Well "good" is not even the beginning on describing this joint. Had their Alaskan bagel sandwich and my goodness, what a treat. Packed with smoked salmon, this sammich hit the spot. The combination of the dill, crunchy red onions and capes on that everything bagel was perfection. Both of my friends culeros had the same thing, El American, which I must say, it was pretty freaking impressive; not sure how 1) so much food was stacked on that bagel and 2) I was able to fit it in my mouth to get a taste. Soooo good. I got the meat and pickles bagel a little sad cause I was missing the pickles but all in all it was very good. I also got a hashbrown I didn't like the hashbrown as it was a bit too crispy and greasy for my liking. Service was great and welcoming. Really disappointed about my experience here. I came in from TikTok and we live about 25 minutes away, but I really been excited to try this place. The line was super long (but worth the wait if it's good, I don't mind waiting). I ordered the Mad Turkey and items were incorrect or not even added on my bagel. Even paid $1.80 extra just for Avocado and didn't even get that! My boyfriend ordered the Nashville Chicken and again items that we paid for weren't even included and also incorrect. The chicken was so small and looked so sad and dry. We said bacon on the side multiple times, even asked one more time as we were paying and that also was not included. Super overpriced and not worth it. They were having a "gas issue" and could not make most of the menu. Also, not having a phone number to contact about corrections is frustrating and seemed like I got scammed paying EXTRA for items we do not even have.
