    No menu. Possible technical difficulties?

First time visiting. They may have been having technical issues when I came because the TVs behind the counter were off and it was about an hour wait for one coffee. No decorations inside, kind of reminded me of an elementary school cafeteria. But, the food must be delicious because the place was packed! Will have to return to see what that's all about.

I always forget about this place and I'm not sure why. I ordered take out and I'm kicking myself for even driving past it. I only wish they still sold mochi donuts, but this them ever having available donuts was the equivalent of McDonald having ice cream. Anyway, the presentation of the to-go pho was so nice and plentiful. Everything was piping hot. The star of the meal were the spring rolls, literally the best I've ever had in SA. It was perfectly wrapped nice and tight and held together with each bite. Any time I crave Vietnamese food, I'll make sure to remind myself Daily Banh Mi is right up the street.

This is the most delicious taro drink i've ever had !!!

Enjoyed lunch with family for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered chicken pho and bbq beef banh mi. Let me tell you this was the freshest bread I've tasted in a long time. Fresher than HEB bakery. The banh mi was soft snd full of flavor. Opted for no jalapeño chili peppers. Taro slush was very tasty too. They use whole milk and allow you to change sweetness level of milk teas/teas/slushes. Pho was a hefty portion for $8. Enough to share between 2 people. Will definitely be returning to try other banh mi flavors.

Long awaited.... it is finally open! Well, soft open. The girl at the counter stated they plan to have a grand opening sometime after July 4. Spacious interior with lots of tables. Menu posted on wall above counter consisted of banh mi sandwiches, boba teas, and Asian corn dogs, and mochi donuts. Not all of their menu was available at the time, since it was a soft open. We ordered the #1 banh mi which consisted of 3 kinds of pork and a grilled pork banh mi. Service was a little slow, but no worries. Received our nicely wrapped sandwiches and size wise, they were decent. The bread was absolutely delicious! Soft interior, and the outside had a nice crunch that easily crumbled as well. You'll def have one crumbly mess, but worth it. Loved all the fresh vegetables of pickled shredded carrots, cucumbers, jalapeños, and cilantro. No lack thereof... We were disappointed on the skimp of meat on both of our sandwiches. It lacked flavor. I ordered the 3 pork banh mi... with a large bread roll, it needed to be filled with flavor, a few measly pieces did not cut it. Still being new, hopefully things will get ironed out..... Military discount offered.

I will never order this again. The price, the texture, the lack of flavors.

Against every single cell in my body, we came back because the midget wanted to try it. He didn't come last time. It was even worse this time. The donuts we missed out on last time? Heb donuts that have been sitting all day are better. It's hard to describe the taste and texture other than meh. It was one of the most disappointing things we've had all year. It was dense and not in a good way. Is it disgustingly bad, well no, but not what everyone was hyping up. He wanted those dang corn dogs. If an 11 year old says they are disgusting, then they are bad. He didn't even finish it. So the service was bad last time. Let me tell you what was even more irritating this time. We stood there ready to order, and an older Asian man, who I have to believe was a manager or owner, just sat there. He was on the phone in front of laptop, glanced up and made ZERO effort to either help us, or get help for us. After several attempts at getting attention like clearing my throat and speaking loudly, a young man came out of the back. At least the milk tea was good. It has been empty every time we have been there. I understand that everyone has different experiences and taste buds. This one I don't understand. We had other items besides corn dogs in the past visit, and they were equally bad. I'm genuinely confused by the high reviews?!! I guess judge for yourself?

    Pate Jambon Banh Mi

Vietnamese food is far and scarce in San Antonio, definitely not as easy to find like back home in Houston. However, the effort for execution is way higher here because of the scarcity of supplies. To cope so many of these places are making their product from scratch! Daily is out here making their bread fresh from scratch crispy and fragrant. Definitely our personal favorite out of all the banh mi places in the city. Not only that but their Jambon, which was truly a shock to me. Jambon is essentially a Vietnamese cold cut/salami roll; it's not salty but it's made from pork! You never find it in grocery stores because it's a lot of labor to make. Personally knowing how to make it it's a real treat to know that they're going through the effort to make a great product for the community. And just for this one banh mi too! You have to try it, pate is a savory liver spread which sounds scary but it's packed with umami and is in perfect balance with all the other components of the sandwich. So worth its $ value in quality and flavor. They have lots of other Vietnamese specialties like pho, bun Bo hue, and coming soon grilled pork vermicelli bowls & sizzling steak plates! The only trend I'm seeing is that they do sell out! so please make it a point to try everything when you get the chance. I know that I'll be coming back

    Bahn Mi Grilled Pork

Just happened to find this place and decided to stop in. Restaurant is fairly large and clean. Service was quick. We ordered 2 bahn mi's, signature and grilled pork. These were ok, it looked like the insides of the breads were hallowed out or needed more vegetables/meat. The bread wasn't too soft or too hard. We also got 2 drinks, lemon black tea (+lychee jelly & boba) and lychee green tea (+lychee jelly). Forgot to ask for less sugar, so it was sweeter than what we normally get. The boba was on the smaller size but still had good texture.

The baked goods aren't on the menu, so when we walked by the counter filled with croissants, kouign amann, bear claws, apple pie, cheese cakes, it was hard to choose what we wanted!! We ordered: the Alamo Burger: a 8 oz wagyu beef smash burger , served with a fried egg, caramelized onions, cheese on a crispy croissant bun. It was incredible and worth the 15-20 minute wait! Almond croissant - a monster sized, flaky croissant with a generous almond filling. Guy Fieri highlighted this croissant on his DD&D show. It's probably a million calories not worth it! Tequila strawberry tres leches croissant - a small, cream filled croissant with strawberries. This was our least favorite. My husband didn't like the filling, I didn't like the sogginess of the croissant. Coffee - really good brewed coffee with free refills. We plan to go back a few more times while we're in town!!

I chose this location because it was close to my hotel. The first thing that caught my eye was the pastry display. I had heard great things about their conchas, so I purchased a chocolate concha, a chocolate croissant, and a guava-filled pastry. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed. All three pastries seemed a bit dry to me and didn't live up to the hype. I also tried their brunch offerings, which were good but nothing particularly memorable. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, respectful, and welcoming. The ambiance was casual and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to visit overall.

Aggressive drivers, anxious shoppers, and every retail worker putting in a Nikola Jokic triple-double. I understand it is a different beast of food service when it is December 24th. Christmas breakfast is what starts off your day before ripping through presents, and this year my parents thought Duck Donuts' Christmas-themed donuts would be a fun change of pace from the cinnamon pull aparts that we normally do. On Christmas Eve, we placed a mobile order on the Duck Donuts website, which requires a mandatory tip to order online, and we selected the ASAP option that said it would take about 30 to 40 minutes. My dad, who was in charge of picking them up, said they were kind of behind and typically that was fine. However, as the donuts were coming out of the fryer, they were immediately decorating them with the icing and the crazy and unique Duck Donuts toppings. When the order was ready, my dad noticed that the dozen donut box was quite hot. Donuts are not usually served warm like that. When he got home to show them to us, all the designs of their gingerbread and other Christmas flavors had melted. All the creams had completely melted. It looked gross. We put them in the fridge to try and preserve them from melting any more, but only so much could be done to salvage them from their depressing state. It was a little tragic. I feel like this is a very rare occurrence from Duck Donuts, as we have had donuts from this location before and enjoyed them. It felt like the fault of Christmas special orders and the rush that led to a breakfast disaster from what was meant to be a special start of the morning. All things considered, the donuts were fine. They tasted okay, but they gooped up in your hands and just felt wasteful. For the price, you would hope they would not melt before you got home. Duck and cover donuts. At first, from the outside, I thought I was walking into a barbershop because of the door, but stepping inside was a fun surprise. The space is really unique--almost like a mini indoor shopping mall. The coffee shop is right at the front, but as you walk further back, there's a barbershop and a few other small shops to explore. Despite all that, it still has a chill, relaxed vibe.
