Service is fast and friendly! The hometown touch and tasty coffee give those who have a moment to sit and enjoy their breakfast comfort and ease. They also have a good selection of cold drinks.

The food tasted great, it was fresh and delicious! Had the French vanilla coffee to go with it and *chef's kiss* The three gentlemen were super patient, friendly and attentive. We had a table that accommodated us well while music was playing and also the tv on.

Wow! Visiting NYC for my son's upcoming surgery and the hotel we're staying at recommended. NYC is know for their bagels and I see why! This place is as authentic as they come. Fresh, made to order and tasty! We tried the plain bagel LS with bacon, egg and cheese. Total we got 4 bagels, 4 hashbrowns and 2 large coffees for $34! I don't think you could get that at McDonald's. Definitely much better and clean good food! I highly recommend! Next time I'm going to try the cream cheese.

I love the combination of mike's hot honey with scallion cream cheese. It's the perfect sweetness with the savory flavor of the bacon, egg, and cheese. The chefs and clerk were both fast and efficient with their service. However, I find the bagel on the more expensive end. I liked how there was a wide variety of options to choose from on the menu. They have seating indoors and outdoors for their customers.

On our way to Grand Central Station. Great customer service, fast service and fresh food. The staff is friendly and efficient when it was busy. Great breakfast spot in Murray Hill.

    Not enough cream cheese. 06/02/22

Bagel Express 347 Lexington Avenue in Murray Hill was recommended to me by my barista. She lives nearby. I have had Bagel Express Bagels and Cream Cheese at another location called Bagel Express II. Their menu is reasonably priced and they meet my bagel standards. I'm not an expert. I was meeting my dear Yelp friend Jasmine from Vancouver. She's staying at a hotel nearby on vacation. I arrived early and was hungry. I was happy I was hungry because I don't have much of an appetite lately. I went ahead and ordered a Pumpernickel Bagel and Garlic Herb Cream Cheese. I found a table and pulled up chairs for Jasmine and her husband. I didn't wait and ate my bagel before they got there. This Bagel Express isn't as nice as the other location. It's long and narrow so I found seating to be uncomfortable. I also think they could put more cream cheese on the bagel. It's $5.39 so the price is good. I definitely love the taste of their pumpernickel bagel and their garlic herb cream cheese. I just hate when I have to spread out my cream cheese myself because otherwise it doesn't cover the bagel. You can see my four pieces in my photo AFTER I spread the cream cheese myself! I think I'll stick to the other location. I'm not sure if Jasmine and her husband Chris enjoyed their breakfast. I'll be waiting for her review. Being with them was the best part of the breakfast. They bought my coffee which was very good coffee.

Quick but not bark-in-your-face service and chill table space to eat. Not the best bagels ever but a reliable staple and lots of options.

Cinnamon Raisin with CC. 3.25. nice chewy bagel
    Glenn C.

Don't know why people are expecting amazing service from a bagel place early in the morning. They're fine here. Just know what you want to order. Anyway, the cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese was 3.25 which is fine for midtown. It was fresh and slightly chewy. It's your average bagel place. You get what you pay for and you can always go an ave down for cheaper better drinks. 3.3

Clump of butter? Easiest thing to make. Bagel with butter and they still mess it up.

This is in a ritzy part of town on 60th St between Madison Ave & Park Ave with Ferraris & Bentleys parked on the street, so you have to guess that the storefront rent must be astronomical. But oh, these gastronomical sandwiches are off the charts and can justify the price. Once you decipher the names of the sandwiches on the menu and see what's between the bread, you will want to try all of them. I settled on 2 finalists, but decided get both anyway. All sandwiches are made fresh with some of the best looking meats & ingredients I've ever seen! And what's better is that they bake all the focaccia for the sandwiches fresh and in-house. You see the bread oven right behind the register. I wonder if I could buy a slab of that bread? The L'Inferno brought images of Danté Alighieri's version of the Underworld to mind, but was a spicy hot masterpiece of sandwich art. The combination of thinly sliced roasted porchetta, nduja, spicy grilled eggplant & arugula was fantastic! The fresh baked focaccia took it even further. But I did learn something new today besides Italian pronunciation, which was that nduja (silent n) is a spicy sausage from Calabrese that's spreadable like butter. I gotta get me some of that stuff! The La Paradiso sounds like the third installment of Danté's Divine Comedy trilogy, but is a very mild, but tasty sandwich with mortadella, stracciatella & crushed pistachios in pistachio cream. The pistachio cream is a stroke of culinary genius and gives the sandwich an amazingly smooth texture & taste. The only part of the Divine Comedy missing from their menu is La Purgatorio and I do not want to find out what would go into that sandwich!

But it turned out to be a fantastic meal and fully satisfied my endless craving for well-made soup dumplings. The scallion pancakes were excellent, too, crispy without being greasy and packed with scallions. I had seen a lot of reviews praising the General Tso's chicken, but I've honestly avoided the Chinese-American dish for years. Too often it's overly sweet with a heavy batter. Still, after seeing plate after plate come out to nearby tables, I decided to give it a try. What a surprise. It was a huge portion of fresh white meat chicken with a light coating and a perfectly balanced sauce, served piping hot. We couldn't finish it (knowing we had a big dinner later), but I kept going back for "just one more piece" more times than I'd like to admit. Reservations aren't accepted for parties of two, but in the late afternoon it wasn't busy at all, we walked right in with no wait. Would absolutely come back.

I have three big guys with me and sometimes quick lunches need to be more filling than fast food options, so we chose Alidoro's under Rockefeller Plaza. We could walk to it form the hotel and it was in the middle off all we wanted to show the boys on their first day (first time) in the city. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
