My daughter and I went in the Myrtle Beach location this morning 11/16/19 and walked up to where the bagels were at looking and waiting for the girl to come back to the counter. She never spoke to us and another lady walks in next to us and the girl behind the counter asked her if she could help her and proceeds to take her order. This was our first time trying this place. I wanted a chocolate chip bagel which the online menu shows they have but the menu inside the business does not. That could probably be because it is a website for shops in California. We were in Myrtle Beach on vacation around the holidays. Bagel Factory was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. I'm a displaced NYer and grew up near the best bagels on Long Island. I've been stuck with subpar supermarket bagels and finding the Bagel Factory made the trip for me. I ordered a plain bagel with butter. It was still warm from the oven. The texture was right, the outer crust was right, and most importantly, the flavor was right. Too many places sell bagels that taste like rolls. Bagel Factory sells real, genuine bagels. We went back for a dozen to take home. They know what they are doing and you should go there. read more

Great little casual breakfast & bagel shop, I love their homemade cream cheeses. I always get the strawberry! The staff is super friendly and started recognizing me & remembering what I wanted after only a few visits which I thought was so sweet and proactive, I wish I remembered the girl's name I usually see(long brown hair, super sweet). I would go more often if I still worked that way. I always called in about 10-15 minutes ahead bc I knew they were busy & just made a quick-stop. I've also had them deliver several times which takes a while but I don't think there's a minimum so if you get it, TIP YOUR DRIVER! We come here every single morning we are at the beach. Have had bagels all over including New York, and these are some of the best! The everything bagel with veggie cream cheese is to die for. Husband always gets sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel which he swears by. Service can sometime be rude but today, no complaints. They do get busy and run out of bagels so go early. read more

We are visiting from NC and we don't have bagels in our town. We always get bagels from here when we come to Myrtle. They are the best. We always get the everything bagel. We ordered to go, they messed up the order, did not toast bagel, bagel must of been from yesterday, it was stale they put bacon crumbs on sandwich, this was the first bad breakfast there, such a disappointment! Food is ok, but customer service stinks! We've been blatantly told that if they are busy they take their phone off the hook and sometimes forget to put it back on. Well this is the second time for us trying to call in a large order where we've dialed for over an hour every 5 minutes with a busy signal. We've even called the other location to see if there is a problem with the Kings Hwy location and again are told that they take the phone off the hook in the mornings. There will be no 3rd times the charm for us as again they have left a large group of people hungry and unhappy. We will go back to Locals Bar and Grill for all of our pickup and delivery breakfast needs. read more

Don't let the generic name fool you. My husband and I had the sliced nova lox and cream cheese on a bagel. Husband got the ET and I got the plain. I know my bagels being from Brooklyn. I'll first say we did not go out of our way to find a bagel place while vacationing in MB. We happened to pass a complex and the sign out front caught my eye. Now in Ohio we buy Bruegger's Bagels for fresh bagels. We actually brought food for breakfast to save money how ever after trying this place once we came back three days in a row. My go to was a everything bagel toasted with strawberry cream cheese my wifes was a cinnamon sugar dipped bagel with plain cream cheese and my son who is three enjoyed a plain non toasted bagel. Any kind of bagel non toasted is only $1. When you add the cream cheese of course it goes up. Any flavored is considered a specialty. average bagel price was $2.50 to a little over $3. This was our very last stop before leaving MB and making the 11 hour drive back home. We ordered a few extra bagels to munch on the salt bagel was very nice. I suggest this place if your a fan of fresh chewy bagels with a nice crunch on the out side. They do not skimp on the toppings for the bagels. I believe they close at 2pm they do take phone orders and I'm pretty sure they offer delivery. I will miss being able to get bagels from here. Do your self a favor and try them out. They also offer breakfast and lunch options with a nice little sit down area offering coffee juice and fountain pop. Snooki can keep Taylor ham on the Jersey shore. I can see why it has not caught on any place besides Jersey or the Bagel Factory. To remain consistent Bagel Factory serves weak coffee. My husband and I stopped there on a whim, and found the bagels to be okay, at best. Certainly nothing to write home about. But the service, that's what really got this 1 star review. I had a teenage girl waiting on me, maybe the owners' daughter? Anyhow, very unprofessional. She took my order, went back to a booth with her friends, and got on her computer. Our order took 5-7 minutes for a bagel toasted with butter and a coldcut sandwich, and there were no other orders being made, so I found that a tad ridiculous. We stopped by Bagel Factory after photographing the sunrise on the beach on week day, so things were still fairly quiet and most of the tourists were still probably sleeping. I was excited that the restaurant wasn't crowded. We decided we were going to each get a bagel, and then get a third type to split and try... We ordered the jalapeno cheddar bagel with sausage/egg/cheese, a plain bagel with bacon/egg/cheese, and asiago cheese bagel with ham/egg/cheese. They were all very tasty, and the staff was nice. Not the same since they sold it. You are better off buying frozen bagels at the grocery store. Do not waste your time. However this is the best location out of all of the other bagel factory locations simply because they actually bake the bagels here. The bagels are then thrown into plastic storage tubs and transported to the other locations where they serve them up to you microwave fresh. read more

Ok so i called and asked if there Chicken cheese steaks were actually chicken cheese steaks (the flat patties for fry ) or chopped up chicken they said no they are the actual ones .... NOPE heated up chicken cold cuts so dry and gross... i said ketchup it was on the tag yet no ketchup.....I said extra cheese abd it was strange globs of melted Cheddar randomly on the dry heated up chicken cold cuts they tried to pass as a cheese steak.....Also got the deluxe home fries no cheese or ranch.... So for 10.50 i got the worst sandwich ever hot dry chicken cold cuts on a humongous roll with clumps of cheese that's it.... and potatoes with bacon for the price of the deluxe .... never never again.... We stumbled upon this place on our way to the beach, but we liked it enough that we ended up going back one of our other mornings during our vacation. Pro: yummy food, very reasonable price, sometimes good service. Con: sometimes bad service, missing items. The omelettes (come with tater tots and bagel/toast, cream cheese is extra) are really big and I am a small person. The first time, my boyfriend and I each got an omelette (mushroom/swiss and western... both delicious!) and that was way too much food. The second time, we shared one omelette and a sandwich-- just right. The cinnamon raisin bagel is yummy. I think their A-team was there on Friday morning because the service was really good, but Sunday morning must have been their B-team... the kid serving us seemed really new (and young... a little too young...), and I had to ask for my bagel when he brought the omelette, sans bagel. As we were leaving my boyfriend realized the sandwich was supposed to come with cole slaw, which we never got, but we let it go because we didn't feel like going back in and demanding our bit of slaw. Overall, I'd probably go again. Good food, good price, decent service (as long as you're attentive, I guess), good location (it on the way to the beach from our hotel). read more

Very good bagel! Nice crunch on the outside with excellent chew on the inside. The everything bagel had lots of everything and it was very flavorful. We shared bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a toasted blueberry bagel with.plain cream cheese. The bacon was nice and crispy and slightly thick cut.
