Mini Bagels!

Bagel oven has some of the sweetest people in Red Bank. Great costumer service and the perfect place to stop in before school. 10/10 coffee and optional beverages! Bagel have the perfect fluff and the SAME RECIPE! my family's go to bagel spot forever!

Bagels are the exact same! The owner Karl is extremely friendly. They are constantly testing new bagels and spreads. Great selection of drinks and the coffee is amazing! The renovations make the place feel bigger. So happy it's open again!

Atmosphere is clean and bright

Best bagels perhaps on earth. Best childhood memory is waking up to the small of bagels and knowing they were from here.

Serving day old and inconsistently sized bagels. Not better than a bag of Lenders from Foodtown. Expensive for low quality

The crusty bagels are BACK! Stopped in today and I am delighted to report that the bagels are as good as they ever were.

The best bagels for miles and miles. Love the mini-bagels for a crowd (have to order in advance).

OPEN under new ownership. Very clean and modernized but most importantly, they nailed the recipe.

The bagels are not as good as they were, and the prices are significantly higher. Not sure this combination will last.

Stale bagels on a Sunday morning and staff can't tell the difference between butter and cream cheese.

The cheapest most disappointing sandwich. Sorry to bagel oven but save yourself from a sad breakfast and go elsewhere.

Great bagels - cash only but an atm on site. Try to get them hot! They also have mini bagels, bit who wants a mini bagel!

Old school bagel joint. No frills but love the charm. Love the bagels. The bialy is probably the best I've ever had.

I have been social media stalking The Baker's Grove for a while now. Eventually, enough was enough…read moreand I made that drive to Shrewsbury to check them out. During my first visit, they had a pop up from Mirah's Sweet Shoppe. During my second visit, there was a pop up from J. Bakes. Out the gate, I love that they give other local small businesses an opportunity to shine and generate revenue. If you follow The Baker's Grove on social media, you see that they post pictures of these beautiful pastries and pastry cakes weekly. If that's not enough to get you in your car and over to their bakery, I don't know what is. Not only are the pastries beautiful, they are delicious! They make a coconut cream doughnut that I am currently addicted to. Their key lime tart is delicious. One thing I will say is that if you get anything chocolate of theirs, make sure you're a true chocolate lover. I got a slice of the s'mores tart for myself and a slice of chocolate cake for my mom and one thing we agreed on is that both treats were very, very rich. On top of all this deliciousness, the service is usually friendly and efficient. Even with a line, they get you in and out swiftly. There's not much room to dine in, but it's definitely worth a stop by.

That spoke volumes to the quality and the success they are having!!! I was hoping to try the chocolate cake but the chocolate cake was actually sold out so I opted for the S'mores tart and the Ube cheesecake. Let's dive into the details: the crust on both of these desserts are delicious and seemingly identical but they shine differently as they pair with the other ingredients in their recipe. The S'mores tart was rich in chocolate, with a toasted marshmallow topping. The cheesecake was big enough to share and also had some beautiful elements such as the toasted coconut, and the creamy whipped topping. Their service was fast and the line moved quickly. I loved the big display window giving a visual to the hard work happening in their kitchen too, a nice personal touch indeed! The location is perfect, there is a private parking lot shared with other surrounding businesses and there's patio seating.

Pros: I loved the open view kitchen into the seating area…read moredesign. It makes the experience personable not to mention you can see how organized and clean the kitchen is. I received friendly and lighthearted service from the man who took my order. One thing that I thought was pretty cool and have never seen before was a "color wheel" for coffee. It was a visual way to show your preferences on what your preferences are on coffee appearance once the milk is added. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious, not too filling and made on very soft enjoyable bread. Room for improvement: Maybe because I stopped in at 1 pm on a Wednesday I felt like the seating area was poorly maintained. The floor really needed to be swept so it actually felt like of dirty sitting there eatting. There were a handful of people spread out with their laptops etc. One person was actively taking a call so it felt like you at work with them. Another had a small dog that she was carrying around people eatting while the leash/harness laid on the floor near her table. I'm all for dogs being allowed to be in eateries but the whole sit in experience felt dirty for me (especially based on the price I paid) and wouldn't be something I'd repeat. Long story short, the customer service while ordering is great but take your order to go.

I got an everything bagel toasted with scallion cream cheese, and it was absolutely amazing. The bagel was nicely toasted and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Their food menu looked amazing. The ambiance was very upscale & cozy. I can't wait to go back and try more! They also had some free baked goods as well.
