Bagel junction is a welcoming little joint that seems to be beloved by locals. We stopped by on a Friday morning and the line was long but it moved quickly. They had a diverse assortment of bagel choices and schmears. I opted for the pizza bagel because I couldn't resist my curiosity. It was delicious!! My fiancé was very happy with his jalapeño cheddar bagel egg sandwich as well. We both devoured them in the car on our way home. We appreciated the friendliness of the staff as well. Next time we're in the area and craving a bagel we will be hitting up the bagel junction again. read more

A super sweet couple own this place. We have stopped here on our way up to Truckee from Sacramento for over a decade. They remember us, ask how our now grown children are doing and genuinely care. Their food is DELICIOUS - EVERYTHING!! Starbucks strategically moved in the same parking lot. They have such yummy, fresh food NOT crap made in a factory in a plastic box coming from who-knows-where. They have coffee drinks too. Shame on city zoning for allowing Starbucks that spot. These folks are hard-working immigrants with a family to support. Please consider supporting this small business over corporate bullies trying to squeeze them out. read more

A family business that makes delicious bagels, and bagel sandwiches or fresh espresso. You walk in and you can tell this is the spot. Pizza bagel sandwich is a must try. A random find on the way to Tahoe from Sacramento, definitely check it out. read more

If you need a lift, you've got to stop by Bagel Junction. The owners are so accommodating and remember who you are. Delicious bagels, flavored cream cheese and great breakfast bagels. I still need to try the egg rolls! Please support local and give them a try. I just love the place. read more

Had bagels here yesterday. There's a sign on the front window saying "Cash preferred". Ordered a couple bagels ($1.75 each) and a mocha ($3.75). They didn't ring up the order but rather just stated the cost was $11.00. If you do the math, the charge should have been $7.25. Questioned them about it but was told the charge was $11.00. It's impossible to tell how they arrived at $11 since nothing was rung up on the register, nor was a receipt given. I won't be back. read more

This place has the best bagels! Also, their Thai tea is to die for. Jasmine own this place with her husband and is great with remembering customers! They have plenty of different cream cheese flavors called "shmears" and fresh squeezed orange juice. Did I mention the amazing egg rolls? They have a cream cheese jalapeño and veggie and both make your taste buds dance. Trust me, if you go here you won't regret it but, if you don't come here, you're missing out. read more

Fantastic place! Cant find a better bagel. Fresh, soft and fluffy. Not heavy. Also bought a turnover and it was gone in seconds. My husband loved it. I called first before coming here and the lady owner who answered was CUTE as a button, we just had to come in! The husband and wife owners were so nice, cheerful and GENUINE. So refreshing. I ordered a breakfast bagel with egg and cheese (w/mushroom and spinach) on a SPINACH bagel! Vegetarian style :) It was so delicious, I could've eaten another one! My fiancé also ordered a Breakfast bagel with ham, egg and cheese (w/ mushroom and spinach) on a PIZZA bagel! He really loved his as well. They were perfectly toasted and not dry at all, the egg held a lot of moisture and was light and fluffy, combined with the cheese that melted OMG. Amazing. The only thing we regret is not adding a smear to it! They also had BOBA TEA! We had a Thai iced tea with passionfruit boba that exploded in your mouth. We LOVED this place. On our way to San Francisco, my hunny and I decided to stop somewhere for breakfast, however on the road choices can be limited...unless you have a Yelp app! Not wanting to eat fast food we decided to use my app in order to find some nearby local breakfast shop in Auburn, and we found Bagel Junction! With as many good reviews and stars as it has, and for the love of Bagels, we couldn't resist! The outside has a cute little chalkboard sign outside featuring the days specials. Upon entering we noticed this little bagel shop is a diamond in the rough! Their selection goes beyond just bagels, they offered multiple different sweets and pastries, and even Chinese and Mexican egg rolls were a feature! I opted for a breakfast bagel on Onion Bagel. My guy got just a jalapeno bagel with cream cheese. Both our breakfasts were great, and the servers were friendly and patient with our... standing around contemplating what to get for 5 minutes! ... It was a perfect way to start our great adventure that day, because it was the spontaneity of finding this local shop on my Yelp app, which felt adventurous! read more

Absolutely delicious and top notch service!!! I teach in Auburn and was looking for a place to get good bagels for a teacher training that I was leading. Bagel Junction opened at 6:30AM which was perfect. The staff is so helpful and kind. Their bagels tasted great and their cream cheese shmear was great. I would definitely recommend this place for some great bagels and I plan to return to try their other menu items. read more

Bagels were the best I've ever had. And the service was amazing. We came with kids and the environment and service towards the kids, the couple were really friendly. We will definitely come back. February 22, 2022 This is review number Maestro or Maestra a few notes on the piano if you please, One Hundred, for this bagel restaurant. It is at a shopping center. Walkable of Starbucks, yes is that close. They got Green Restaurant Rating on January 12, 2022. What got me in is outside the entrance sign says CASH PREFERRED ONLY PLEASE. With that, I know this company is then trustworthy. They have sandwiches, muffins, and variety of bagels. Tables do seem be distanced, hurray for that. If need drink other than water, just as in grocery stores, one opens the door, chooses the drink, pays for the drink. Prices reasonable, anywhere two dollar and fifty cents before tax to most expensive fifteen dollar before tax. The fifteen dollar is for the one dozen. Remember in school how they teach there are twelve in one dozen. Okay twelve at fifteen dollar before tax to me is reasonable. To me any says equivalent of Cash Only is yes indeed trustworthy. The Flat Sticks in our capital town not at all taking cash, Military Discount yes, but not at all cash. I not trust those places but did trust Bagel Junction. read more

Jasmine and Larry run this shop and they are amazing. When we drive to ski we always stop and get their turkey avacado bagel for lunch and fresh orange juice. Delicious and we're very particular about our bagels. THeir's are terrific. Plus, we order a few bagels to have for breakfast at the mountain. Try them! You won't be disappointed. I adore all of the staff in this store. My partner and I are always greeted with such a warm welcome and the owner has even gone above and beyond to remember our names. I always look forward to coming here. The breakfast bagels are some of my favorite! As well as a Thai tea boba :) The food is always consistent and the energy of the store is always upbeat. I always tip well when coming here, as this is somewhere I never feel disappointed spending money. They also have a day old bagel rack which is priced well. If you get a bag of bagels I recommend the jalapeño cream cheese. If you are a local or visiting from the Bay Area or Tahoe I definitely recommend stopping here! :) read more

We come here almost weekly. First, this is a family/locally owned business so expect the wonderful Family here to get to know your name and "usual" if you frequent their establishment. Also expect to get to know their Family. Second they make their bagels with love and a smile. With that said I enjoy their everything bagel sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. My Hubby gets their sausage and egg english muffin. Coffee is always hot and everything is made in store fresh. Get there early because once their everything bagel is out they are out for the day. Third, my daughters favorite, thai tea, mochas, and boba. She loves them all. So if you can skip that super famous chain and come into this small family owned bagel shop that is filled with smiles, good coffee/drinks, and yummy bagels, DO IT! read more

6/5 star rating!!! This place is so great. I came in for an everything bagel with pesto cream cheese, a breakfast bagel and an iced mocha. Everything tastes absolutely incredible. The food came out fast and hot and the bagels were nice and crispy, not soggy. Id give this place a 6/5 just for food but the hospitality here was spectacular as well! Such a lovely, friendly couple. Stopped here on our road trip back to UT from CA. We ordered a breakfast bagel and a breakfast burrito! Both were super delicious. The owner spread a layer of butter on my breakfast bagel before adding the egg, sausage, spinach, cheese.... omggg so good! (Also- this is optional if you don't want butter lol!) The owners were so kind and appreciative of their customers. I could tell some regulars stopped in because the owners knew their orders immediately. I love little places like this. I love my amiga Jasmine! I drive all the way from fair oaks to auburn just to eat at her bagel shop at least once a week. Have been doing it for four years! Jasmine always knows our order by heart and has it ready within minutes of us arriving. She loves my girls, and she always spends time talking about families. I first met them when they had a shop in Rocklin, but they shut it down. I go to her business, not only because of her amazing bagels, and great customer service, but because she genuinely cares about her customers! I'll post a pic of her breakfast sandwich! Best bagel shop in auburn. I have been going here since middle school and I love it. The owners are the sweetest people in the world. I'm only back in town a few times a year and they remember me every time I come in! They have amazing bagel sandwiches, coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and of course cream cheeses! I am partial to the whole wheat bagel toasted twice with spinach cream cheese. It hits the spot every time! They also have delicious cinnamon sugar bagel chips. This place rocks! read more

Hmmm, is there a Peet's in Auburn? Thankfully, yes & right down the street from the hotel the girlfriend & I were staying. Sweet! This Peet's is located inside a Raley's Supermarket. From the entrance, it's in the front left corner of the store. The folks working here weren't minding the shop too closely & didn't immediately notice their new customer, but were really friendly when they did come over to help me with my wake-up juice. I got an iced coffee refill of my big insulated tumbler & was all set to hit the road. I was sure glad to find a Peet's in Auburn. For me, it's vastly superior to any coffee from Seattle.

There we were pulling out our phones to show each other pictures of our kids. Since he was on his way out, we said our goodbyes do that I could get down to business... and pleasure my taste buds. First, I like the checkered floor. I feel like it adds to the playfulness of the atmosphere. The art on the walls was extraordinary. I couldn't help but study it. While Robb and Mimi were helping other patrons at the counter, it gave me plenty of time to look at their gorgeous creations. The custom made cakes and cupcakes made my eye twinkle. It brought back memories of when I used to be a cake decorator. It takes time and patience to create these masterpiece. The cakes cakes made with superior ingredients looked classic... The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The ham and cheese croissant itself was good and had a nice flaky texture, but I really wish there had been more ham and cheese inside. It felt a little light on the filling, especially compared to the size of the croissant. I absolutely enjoyed the flavor and flakey texture. It was a perfect crossiant, minus the ham and cheese part. The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there.
