I feel like the consistency of the rebel that's blended was not as smooth and creamy compared to regular flavored like I had in the past. I have been to the Dutch Bros 405 Grass Valley Hwy stand multiple times. The reason I keep coming back is the Borista's. They make a habit of knowing my name and my drink. My drink is not simple: Medium hot Americano, 3 shots, 2 white coffee 1 regular, Hazelnut and cream.... I typically have my dog Faith with me and she gets a dog bone every time without asking. IT's all smiles and just a great place and positive atmosphere. My location. was just remodeled and it is amazing. Yesterday was New Years Day, the 1st of the month! So... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Every month on the 1st, Dutch Bros will hand out one monthly sticker per paying customer. It's most customers favorite time of month and yesterday was the day! This location is the only location I have been to that is stingy with handing out their stickers. They only want to give you one sticker when I usually pick up an extra for my daughter and every location has been happy to do so... except this one. This location isn't as friendly & happy as all the locations I have been to up & down the states. A huge plus, DB offers coffee, smoothie, and energy drink creations that keeps the guests coming back. They have concoctions made with chocolate milk, an energy drink called Rebel that they make unique flavors out of... tons of flavors you can add to your coffees... the possibilities are endless and because they follow a recipe, it's hard to mess up. I couldn't imagine the countless recipes they have to memorize! As a tiny building, somehow, DB manages to fit quite a few staff inside. They seem to pick some top notch people that know how to have a conversation with you and make you feel at ease. They have young men and women in charge of running these tiny huts and are usually doing a pretty good job keeping up with the demand of the public needing their next DB fix. I am guilty of needing a DB fix but so are hundreds of thousands every day! Wait time and the line can get long but don't get discouraged! It's absolutely worth the wait! My friend's & my drinks yesterday tasted like perfection. The meduim ice extra sweet Caramelizer was our choice and they did amazing. It has a sweet velvety taste worth coming back for. In this transaction, the order taker wouldn't hand either of us a sticker until both our transactions successfully cleared. She came off as possessive and controlling. I have had a hiccup once where the coffee tasted burned and they happily replaced it. Thank you for great tasting coffee. It was much appreciated. read more

A+ for staff. A solid b for coffee. They were well staffed with people manning the drive thru hut and 2 people on iPads taking additional orders like myself walking up. I have to say that at least the two people on iPads were extremely happy, upbeat and service was with a smile. To note: this is not a sit down spot, but drive thru/to-go window. I went with the cold nitro brew. It's solid. Comes in a big old cup, reminiscent of my Dunkin' Donut days back on the east coast. Many drinks skew to the sugary and flavored, if that's your thing. If you know my obsession with Dutch Bros, then you already know what this review is going to sound like. Love, love, loooove me some Dutch Bros! They are by far my favorite coffee shop chain, and I haven't once had a bad experience at any location that I've been too. This location in Auburn is no different. Fast and efficient service, friendly staff, and great drinks. French Toast Chai. It's what I get the majority of the time. My go-to. If you're a lover of sweet chai, then you will fall in love with this bad boy. Well, at least I did. Ordered it once for the first time a few years ago and haven't looked back since. I ordered one here and it came out fantastic. I tend to switch between having it either iced or blended. This time around, I ordered it iced with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top. You can call it diabetes in a plastic cup, but damnit... it's SO tasty. It was sweet and refreshing and they didn't overload it with ice like the other coffee shop chain that I go to (I won't mention their name, but you know who I'm talking about). This shop is conveniently located just a hop and a skip away from the freeway, and they also have 2 drive up windows and a walk up window. Service was outstanding just like all of the Dutch Bros locations that I've been to. The staff was super friendly and chipper. I don't find myself in Auburn often, but it's nice to know that this Dutch Bros is around when I'm in need of a fix. read more

This is my go to Dutch Bros when I'm in Auburn., purely due to its location. The kiosk is in a nondescript shopping center. The staff is very consistent with them rarely asking me or giving me a stamp card. They also rarely ask or give me chocolate walls or whipped cream with my freezes. However, the varying staff does it all with enthusiasm and smiles. Upbeat attitudes. The volume of the music in the kiosk is kept to a reasonable level, I never have to shout to tell them to speak up which is nice. Don't get me wrong, the music is ON but not at ear bleeding levels. I've been wanting to come to Dutch Bros Coffee for a while now and finally found one in Folsom. This is a great fast drive thru for coffee, but I got the vampire slayer, and mango smoothie. I definitely can taste a "Red Bull" flavor in the vampire slayer and it was great! It tasted sweet with a hint of energizer. I also recommend the mango smoothie if you like mango! There's no caffeine which also makes it great for children. I ordered two beverages that totaled about $14, I personally think it is a bit overpriced, though again it was good. read more

I had heard of Dutch Bros but had never tried it, so decided to do something new. Big mistake. It's a drive-through, but you can't even post a menu outside? What on earth kind of business model is that?? You just expect everybody to know what you serve (which, apparently, does not even include hot coffee?) That is a terrible, terrible idea. It's almost like the only people you want to serve are long-term repeat customers. Guess what? That means you will not be able to get any NEW repeat customers. Mission accomplished. Between having no clue what you offer or what the prices are, and the fact that a single coffee here costs close to $10, I will never be visiting a Dutch Bros again. Worst Dutch bros experience I've ever had. Messed up both drinks I ordered after I explicitly explained what I wanted which was fairly simple especially compared to other orders. Ordered a grasshopper freeze and got a grasshopper shake. Ordered a iced coffee drink with protein and got a freeze which only has 2-3 ounces of milk meaning they upcharged me for nothing. Dutch bros is the same at every location. Friendly, young staff who are extremely energetic and with music playing from inside the little diabetes shop. Don't get me wrong, drinks are amazingly sweet and taste amazing from here. But they are truly the epitome of diabetes. If not diabetes then heart disease!! A small is pretty overwhelming for one sitting so I'd best recommend you keep it easy on the ice in the fridge or share with a friend. Each drink either has 60 percent of fat and about 30grams of sugar, or vice versa! So treat yo self when you come here! Of course, all of this is coming from a healthcare student. I've tried about four or five of the drinks here, but the annihilator and the white chocolate mocha were super tasty (the latter being more sweet). Aside from the health concerns, the drinks taste amazing, the service is super fast and always drive through (convenient), and the people working there are always hella chill. Despite the drinks Gavin double or quadruple shots, the sugar crash tends to overwhelm the awakening factor ahah!! I wanted a Dutch soda and the guy misunderstood me and charged me for a rebel. When I corrected the window they remade my drink, however, I got charged four dollars more than I should have. When I told the person at the window that I got overcharged for my drink they didn't care and didn't do anything about it. I think it's unfair that I had to spend more money on a drink I didn't get all because of their mistake, and for them to not even try to fix the problem. read more

We asked the employee for advice on what to get and she was great. I only gave it 4 stars because I think these drinks have made me pre-obese. This is my go to Coffee shop when up in Auburn City. It is conveniently located off 49 & HWY 80 about 2 min off the freeway. They have 2 drive through windows so ordering is pretty quickly and you're in and out within minutes. The workers are doing an awesome job to make delicious coffee for picky customers like me. Nothing negative to say about this location. On this visit I ordered the Lite Iced Kicker w/ hazelnut flavor (it's the best). They make it just as great as the Madison & Auburn DB's. Got skipped ordering by the person outside because they were helping someone at the front, no biggie but I waited ~5 minutes just to order a large hot candy cane latte. After listening to a song and a half on the radio, I tried saying excuse me 2x to get their attention but was flat out ignored. Barista tried handing me someone elses' order and when I told her I haven't ordered yet she said she,"couldn't imagine how I got skipped." Asked for a hot remake with whole milk, and she told me it comes with chocolate. I attempted explain there's a cc cocoa, cc mocha, and I requested a cc latte which means no mocha but she repeated herself saying in a condescending tone,"does that make sense?" I just said yes because I didn't want to talk to her anymore and I recieved a 2% lukewarm candy cane latte. Oh yeah even though she asked me what milk I wanted she kept saying 2% and even though I corrected her the one time I quickly realized this person cannot be bothered to get me the correct order. I understand your busy but get the temp of your milk right. Good coffee is worth waiting for. I wish I lived closer to the good dutch bros near grass valley.
